Beautiful traditional Casa and lovely gardens/pool area. Staff went over and above to help!

The house and pool were beautiful and all of the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was lovely too!

Schitterend hotel met zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De kamers zijn niet volledig geluiddicht waardoor minder discrete logeerders kunnen storen .

Casa Rural is over 200 yrs old and so full of character whilst having wonderful up to date top quality facilities.

Only the mosquitoes. They took enormous care to mitigate their presence.

It is a great place to relax

The large house is fantastic. Big rooms. Great swimming pool and gardens. The staff are great will go out of their way for you Breakfast fantastic and they cook eggs 🥚 and bacon 🥓 fresh. and omelette 😋 A great place

Just the location 10 minutes walk to the town centre. You have to drive to the beach. But it's a fantastic beach

Family run hotel set amidst beautiful orange groves All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The period rooms have more than ample space! The shower and bed are the best I've ever had 🙂

There was nothing to dislike! The breakfast was great. With freshly squeezed orange from the orange grove and there own marmalade!

Beautiful, traditional house in peaceful location with the loveliest hosts you could ever wish for.

We loved everything about this accommodation. The people who run the house are all so amazingly friendly and welcoming and helpful. It seemed nothing was too much effort to ensure we had a lovely stay and all the information we needed about the surrounding area and travel when we left. Unfortunately we were only there for two nights but have vowed to go back. The house is so beautiful and we were thrilled to know that it had been in the same family since the 18th century. It was charming and you really felt the history of the place while at the same time it had all mod cons, as we older folk say in the UK. Everything we needed for a really comfortable stay was provided. We had a terrace with a fine view. and the room was so cosy and elegant. We loved the pool which. being from Scotland, felt quite warm. We loved where it was, including the amazing chimneys which helped guide us home. The walk into and back from town was perfectly doable for us and not really a hardship. And the beach? Well, how spectacular to have such beaches in walking distance.

I hesitated over the 'location' score because as people without public transport, it was quite a trek to the beach and a bit of a walk to the old town at night. But then it IS a casa rural which is what it's all about so in that sense, it was perfect.

4 days relaxation

This old finca is beautifully maintained and furnished to reflect its history. We couldn’t have been made to feel more at home by Rosa, Pablo and the team culminating in Rosa sharing her delicious recipe for chocolate pumpkin pie. Despite being amidst the old industrial tule factories the house is tranquil and restful. Our room was enormous and very comfortable with lots of space for the dog and a private terrace. Breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and fruit from Rosa’s trees.

Quiet location, beautiful guesthouse and garden, authentic comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom, good breakfast with excellent service from Rosa.

The B&B was overall very clean, but are room was not cleaned well. I missed some comfortable sunbeds at the swimming pool, there was no possibility to relax fully, as you were not able to lay down.

“A little piece of Heaven on earth”!

Enter through the gates of El Sequer and you leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life……all that can be heard is birdsong. This place is a little bit of Heaven on earth! Beautiful grounds,and a wonderful swimming pool surround a magnificent home that has been lovingly turned into a boutique B&B. Spacious bedroom with the most comfortable bed and wonderful bed linen! Lovely seating areas throughout. Breakfast served on the terrace by the wonderful Rosa, who has time for a chat to everyone! A big Thankyou to Pablo for his wonderful hospitality during my short stay.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, plus the hotel was lovely with a traditional Spanish feel.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, especially the made to order omlettes.

The grounds were lovely but the surrounded area was a bit industrial.

Best in oliva by far

Fantastic oasis of calm and tranquility just outside town,the scent from the orange groves adjacent to the casa was divine,great breakfast with fresh orange juice from the trees outside, friendly helpful staff. The house itself is gorgeous spacious and tastefully furnished with period pieces,very comfortable bed... best few nights sleep I've had for years.

Excellent!

The breakfast was superb, everything was fresh, and the variety was excellent! Breakfast was individually managed by the superb Rosa, what a pleasant, happy lady, always on hand to help! This superb country house has been restored to its former glory, and filled with all the original furniture and art works, it is truest s wonderful experience! The owner, Pablo, is a delight, such a kind and genuine guy! We will definitely be back in the future!

My mistake, but a car is probably the best option. We stayed there whilst viewing properties, but even though we didn’t have a car, it is only 15 min walk to the town and restaurants, no big deal, and safe at night.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and explained the history of the building. The breakfast was great. Was lovely to wake up to the sound of the birds due to quiet location. Short walk into town. Great value for money.

Exceptional, we loved it

This beautiful villa is amazing. Both interior and exterior are maintained to a very high standard. Beds very comfortable. As well as the spacious grounds where you can really relax, guests have access to the ground floor rooms, lounge and kitchen. Covered parking on site. We were made very welcome. Pablo and Rosa were perfect hosts, and did everything they could to ensure that we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Wonderful breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

A really lovely stay and I'm sure we'll return.

A beautiful property with very friendly owners and staff who make you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable. There's a lovely pool set in beautiful grounds, and the parking facilities are spot on. Also provides a great breakfast!

Exceptional

This is a really great, warm and friendly accommodation. They make you feel very welcome with great service and it’s located in a great scenery (mandarin plantation) Only one little disadvantage in our opinion is the surrounding area when you leave the plantation, which was not our thing.

The hotel is a gem in the middle of an old and mostly deserted industrial area.

A gem in a dilapidated old industrial area. Staff and owners lovely people.

The area is completely dilapidated with empty old ceramic factories deserted and mostly falling down. What a pity the local politicians don't see the potential for redevelopment. The locals need to force change in the local management of the area - such a shame for the local people.
