Beautiful setting! Loved breakfast delivered to the room and watching the waves roll in while feasting on the terrace!

This apartment is in an amazing spot, just one street back from the beach with a balcony that has a view right down the beach. The staff were great and the breakfast on the terrace lovely.
The only little issue is that the apartment gets quite warm in the loft where the kids were sleeping but not too bad considering we were there in the middle of summer.

Beautiful location, beautiful food, yummy breakfast on our deck, lovely hosts, lovely and quiet at night. Love the sound of the waves 🙏
Something to be mindful of is the parking :) we found a park but not until around 7pm, not a problem at all though we worked around it. That is nothing when you experience this lovely place.

Right next to the ocean and surfers. The restaurant next to The Wave Baleal was excellent. Daniel was nice and had our breakfast to us right on time.

Amazing location! The rooms open literally onto the beach. It's not too expensive in the off season either, especially if you consider the great breakfast brought to our door every morning.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
There is a little common kitchen behind the reception that guests can use outside breakfast times, which helped us save money on restaurants.
No housekeeping- no one cleaned our room in 6 days.
Also the bathroom wall is a bit see-through (it's made of wooden slats that don't join up) which is a bit weird even for people who know each other really well!

The terrace and the view were amazing. The bedroom. The fridge. Internet was working all the time.
The bathroom could be updated a bit.

The location of this resort is one of the most beautiful places we have visited. Daniel and his team are so friendly and made our family from Toronto, Canada feel especially welcome!! An awesome vacation, so sad to leave!
No complaints, we loved our time on the beach and on our patio terrace overlooking the beach and ocean!

The Wave Baleal was a great place to say, right on the beach on Baleal island you can see the sea from your bed. Danielle is really helpful and nice guy. Definitely a character. Breakfasts are great and dessert is even better.

The amazing staff were super gracious, with a positive attitude, very helpful. Each person who works there is awesome! I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be.
There is nothing that needed to be better.

We were greeted with all information we needed about the hotel and the area. The location is amazing overlooking two beautiful beaches. Breakfast was good and was served at the time we requested the nights before.
I highly recommend The Wave Baleal for a stay in this area!

The location is phenomenal and staff are always available.
Unfortunately the linens and towels seemed very worn and the mattresses need to be updated. This hotel is very overpriced.

The view and promiscuity of the beach and water can't be beat. Breakfast was ok. The salvation of the room was that the deck over the small cafe next door was open and great to sit and watch the ocean and read.
I saw from the pictures that the room was sparse but reality set in when I realize it was truly a surfer's room. There was no daily room service..no new sheets, towels, or waste basket cleanup. So we are staying a a 2 bedroom cottage an hour and half away right on the ocean for the same price. Shop around for a better deal. My one egg looked like a pancake. Comes with one piece of toast each plus two types of coffee if you want more than one cup. Table and chairs outside the room in a limited space and couldn't be enjoyed if adjacent renters were smoking....which they were. Also renters liked their space and 4 woman talking for 8 hours over wine and cigarettes became a bit much.

Service from Daniel and Tiago was unbelievable. What great hosts they were to us. Amazingly generous breakfast in the morning overlooking the beautiful beach view.
Having a surf is in walking distance and it is super safe for the kids to run around. The apartment was very well designed in terms of offering a quiet night's sleep and the beds were super comfortable. All in all, it was the perfect place for a surfing family holiday.

Excellent location right in front of the shore. Perfect for surfers, beach and view lovers. Sunshine on the terrace for breakfast and lunch. A great variety of choices for breakfast. Lovely staff. Super friendly, helpful, kind, fun, and caring. Many options for surf lessons, rentals and other fun. Kitchen area can be used for cooking. Free tea and coffee.
Might be a bit too loud for some to sleep with open door due to the waves on shore, but others might love it. No options to tilt a window or door, so door has to be open all night for fresh air (easy access for anybody then - security matters), but there is air conditioning. No privacy blinds between bathroom and sleeping area, just a glass with wooden panels (beautiful though). Everything can be heard and seen.
