This place was great. It is an awesome location & the place is incredibly we’ll maintained. My wife & I loved it. The restaurant downstairs from our room was also spectacular. I could not recommend them enough. Truly hope to go back one day.
I loved this place. The only down side would be that you have to walk upstairs. For my wife & I it was not an issue but I can see how it may be an issue for people with major mobility issues.

The hotel room and decor, location, the amenities inside the room and brilliant staff (special call out to Emily) we’re all excellent. The rooms were decently sized, extremely sound proof despite being right in the hustle bustle of Old Town, the hot shower just amazing at the end of a long day, great support for booking day trips & tours to beaches and great recommendations about the area. I was very happy we stayed here and exploded Chania with the hotel as our base. The food and drink at the restaurant were also nice.
While the food at the restaurant was nice, service was patchy. Quite a few staff at the restaurant, but it still was slow at times.

Beautiful room, view and bathroom. Great breakfast and nice staff 😊
One of the small spotlights in the bathroom was not working. It didn't affect the lighting but I kept noticing it every time I went in.

The room was gorgeous. The staff could not do enough for us. We received very personal attention. Our balcony was large enough to be comfortable and overlooked the old Venetian harbor with the opposite side bathed in sunshine.
We couldn't stay forever.

The property was in a fantastic location and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They took the time to talk to you and provide you with recommendations around the area. The room was also very spacious and provided us with a great view of Chania. Also, hands down best housekeeping I’VE EVER SEEN! This place should be awarded solely from how clean and organized our room was when we returned from our day around Crete. The breakfast each morning overlooking the harbor was also perfect and the food was fantastic - the server even provided us with some recommendations from the menu. If you’re traveling to Chania, this is the place to stay!

The perfect location right on the water, easily accessible from the nearest parking lot.
The staff were very kind and attentive.
The room was incredibly spacious as was the bathroom with ample extra bedding.
Chocolates were refreshed in the room daily which was a lovely touch

The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to suggest attractions, accomodate requests and make our stay more enjoyable. The food served by the hotel's restaurant, which is just underneath the hotel, was delicious. The location is excellent.

Beautiful hotel with the best location in town. The view from our room was the highlight of our stay - what a privilege to be able to sit outside in the balcony whilst enjoying the busy venetian harbour in front of us.
Staff were super friendly & helpful and received us so well (special thanks to Emily).
The breakfast was incredible.
We only stayed for one night but wished we had planned a few extra days to take the most of the hotel and all it had to offer us.

The location was amazing. You were able to walk out instantly into the old town and have a selection of restaurants to choose from. The beach was a little further than we thought but about a 15 minute walk. The receptionist was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us throughout!
The room was sometimes noisy sometimes at night.

Emily at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The room was charming and comfortable. The location was perfect. They even packed us a delicious lunch for our day trip to Knossos. We will be back!
Breakfast is served a little later for our taste, however, the food was excellent.

The view was fantastic! The most beautiful location you can find in Chania, close to everything, you can walk around in the old town, etc. Also walking distance (15min or so) to some small city beaches. It's an old building, renovated in the same style, and you feel the history. The breakfast was very nice, outside on the port, again a beautiful view and very tasty food. The staff is really nice and friendly. Everything was great!
Everything was really great, so not much to mention here.

Hotel was in a really nice location in the middle of the old town. The room was a good size and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was served in the restaurant downstairs, freshly cooked with a great choice.

Amazing people and they make us fee home, caring about every detail. Location could not be better either.

My wife and I stayed in both harbour-facing rooms, the Aretousa and Erophele, both of which were beautiful, with an amazing location overlooking the Venetian harbour. The rooms were exceptionally quiet and the beds comfortable.
Emily at reception was incredibly helpful and friendly, as was Ioannis, the owner. The breakfast was delicious and generous. One morning we needed to leave early before breakfast hours and Ioannis prepared a takeaway breakfast for us.
We loved our stay at the Cretan Renaissance - we strongly recommend it and will definitely be back one day!

The property is superbly situated on the port, a stones throw away from the charm of the old town. The staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for you. The breakfast was very good. Everything about this place was very well done and attention to detail made it feel special. We Will be returning to this hotel.

Everything. Facility, service, food.
The only comment would be to start the breakfast earlier. 9 is too late if you want to go to the beach.
