great venue for visiting Ypres

breakfast was great. the young man was very helpful and helped carry bags from the car to the rooms. very good location for Ypres town centre

using the TV was difficult. we were unable to access TV channels though we could access Netflix.

I enjoyed my short stay, and would stay again if in Ypres in the future.

Great breakfast, plenty on offer. Location great, walking distance from the railway station and the centre of Ypres.

This is not a complaint, but a mat on the bathroom floor and hand soap at the sink in the bathroom would have been good.

Potential to be better

Really convenient location within a short walk of the town centre. Rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

The standard of cleanliness could be higher as it was grubby in places which put us of eating there, so we skipped breakfast.

nice clean small hotel 15 minutes from centre of town

nice comfy room more Airbnb than hotel but staff were nice and there is a nice chicken restaurant and friendly pub next door parking was fine

would not recommend to someone with mobility issues as stairs very steep

Wonderful hosts & well located, comfortable stay

Excellent B & B amenities, close to Station & walking distance to Menen Gate. Hosts were very friendly with welcome drink & excellent freshly cooked breakfast.

Bedroom a little small in comparison to large bathroom area, but not really a problem

Lovely, ideal location, very clean, great host.

We turned up on a motorbike which had just had a puncture, in the middle of Saturday afternoon. Sander, the host, rang around for us and in 15 minutes had found a bike shop prepared to stay open and do a puncture repair - this saved our return journey!

It's a lovely terraced house but the stairs are narrow - ok for us but take care if anyone in your party has mobility issues.

Chesney was welcoming and a good host Rooms were adequate and the breakfast was plentiful. A 10 mins walk to the cloth hall and centre of ypres parking was outside the premises and was only available after the offices opposite closed but no problems

The shower head didn't work and you had to hold the wand shower part in your hand while washing 🙃 Beds were uncomfortable and had a convex shape (a severe crown in the middle .4 of the party complained to me about the bed ) felt like you were rolling out of the bed. It is important you have a decent bed and shower and unfortunately both let our stay down

Lovely stay with a 15-20 minute walk to the town square.

Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty with freshly cooked eggs.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable as two single mattresses on a double bed had a dip between them.

Superb location and hospitality!

Amazing breakfast and location, it's 2 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Room is modern and tidy and has everything you'll need. But the best part was the staff/hosts - they were very responsive, flexible and went above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Can't recommend enough!

Well worth the stay " do not judge the hotel by its front view, inside is great

everything was great, a great and warm reception to a fabulous breakfast The hosts are amazing and very welcoming. A superb place. The rooms are minimalist, chic and modern, but very comfortable.

Super friendly staff why really put in the effort to make your stay excellent. They go out of their way to adjust things like breakfast (gluten free).

The fridge could've been whipped down on the inside (had a strange stain).

Superb

Although is the check in till 4 pm (16:00) the owner was waiting for me and met me around 8 pm (20:00). He showed me everything and prepared for me an early breakfast. Parking right in front of the house. Ca 5 min walk to downtown.

The bed is made from two mattresses and I felt that the mattresses have in the middle already a spot.

Very good

Nice room and bathroom, all spotless. Breakfast was also quite nice in the room at the ground level. In these covid-times, interaction with the staff/owners (living 5 minutes away) was minimal and this was good. Pub and nice chicken restaurant as neighbours. Walking distance from all other attractions in Ieper.

A bit noisy (other guests and street noise). Twin beds were narrow and a selection of pillows would have been great. A bit expensive for what it offered.
