Problem with our original room but we were moved immediately. Food and portions excellent. Liked that there were numerous staff members around but may have been due to the wedding that weekend. We booked so we could bring our dog which was very successful in terms of new room location and restaurant table.
Original room upstairs had problem with toilet. Also we were asked if we wanted double or twin initially and were disappointed that room was a twin. We were moved and replacement room was a better standard ... double bed, nearer to outside which was more convenient for dog walking and ground floor which was better for dog on a lead.

Very pleasant staff and an excellent breakfast.
Our room was tiny. No space for a couple of suitcases and a squeeze into a tiny and well worn shower room.

Lovely old pub with a very rustic feel and excellent beer!
Eat in the restaurant and the food was great
Furnishings are a little dated

It was a great location for what it was needed. The bed was comfortable
There was no bottles of water in the room so had to use the tap water which didn’t feel right. Very dated rooms which meant I didn’t have a proper shower. Breakfast was very unorganised
10.0
Beautiful property, full of character, warm and cosy. Lovely room, good size, warm, comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Big bonus - pets are WELCOME and £10 additional charge is reasonable. Nice staff
Wi Fi dropped out briefly, not sound proof doors ( as they are old in keeping with the building). Breakfast service when toast arrived after food was finished and no extra milk/butter offered when more guests sat at the table
