Across the street from the beach, but beach had garbage all over it
Photos were not of the property that we booked and it was listed as two sofa, beds, and one queen bed. It had one caught and a full-size bed. I contacted the host and the owner and could not get a refund so I had to contact booking.com for them to get my money back.

The room, big and clean. Stunning view of the sea from the balcony. The host very helpful.
The area isn't the best but still nice, only 30 min drive from a beautiful beaches though.

Fantastic sea view and great location. Staff are
very welcoming and helpful. Even though she said
her English wasn’t very good, it was and we
managed to communicate very well!
Everything was fine. I would’ve benefitted from
another mirror somewhere so that if someone is in
the bathroom, you can still get ready.

room had everything we needed, spectacular sea view

Beautiful decorated and very clean apartment.
Good size of the room and beautiful view to the beach from the window.
The apartment is just in front of the beach.
Supermarkets, restaurants and stores walk distance.
Good pressure of the shower.
It says has a balcony (and the picture on booking shows it) but when I asked the lady she said they were occupied with other people. Disappointed because that was the reason I booked it in the first place.
Also this is the only place in Italy that charged us a "tourist tax" of 1.5 euros per person in cash - not sure why?
Be aware the free parking is on the street.

Location
Lack of communication skills of the staff
Two days prior to our arrival in Salerno the lady began asking about our arrival time. Indicating that we were to visit amalfi coasts and then head to Salerno, I replied that we could possibly check in around 18:30. The reply was definite: "no later than 18:30!". The lady had had some other business because of their national holiday. I didn't remind her of the check-in hours as indicated on booking.com and ignored this rudeness. Then she asked why we didn't consider collecting the keys as early as 11:30 and then visiting Amalfi. I replied affirmatively but this ruined all our plans because of the highly dense traffic on the day of national holiday. We couldn't have estimated that.
Before we moved to Salerno, I texted to the lady and asked if there is an iron in the apartment. The answer was quite odd: “I don't dislike it . being a holiday home, the customer personally takes care of their needs.” [direct quotation]
I said that I didn’t care what she liked or disliked but just asked a simple, yes/no question. Depending on their cultural level, one can respond such a question with a simple “no” or with more polite alternatives but no need to preach on the matter.
There are some other annoying details in our conversation but I am not going go through this any more. Suffice it to say that everyone should not be allowed to in this particular business. Courtesy is a must even if you cannot satisfy expectations of your customers.

The caretaker!
The owner/caretaker was stressing us for the deadline to check-in before 19.00 considering that the rules is 20.00 and they'll charge 10 euro after 20.00! But since the train broke down (which isn't our fault) we were a bit later than 19.00 which was very very stressful for us because the care taker wont wait for us if we cannot make it on their terms. I feel that there is no consideration at all.
No English speaking 😁😁😁😁

Check-in was pretty easy and welcome.
We had a room with see view - the view is splendid and this is the main advantage of this stay.
The bed was not really comfortable both for myself and my wife.
Windows are pretty old and need certain repair in closing mechanism.
No trash-bags were provided.
Host claims, there was no washing machine, but i think it was hidden in the closed closet in the bathroom.

The studio apartment looked out right onto the sea and we could hear the relaxing sound of the sea from our room. The kitchen had useful things like a coffee maker, fridge/freezer and airer/dryer. The decoration was modern, industrial style.
Some of the towels were threadbare and could do with replacing. The wall by the shower could do with additional cleaning.

The lady that welcomed us was very nice! We liked the area and the view from the balcony.
Little ants everywhere and the bathroom wasn't so clean/ hygienic. It needs renovation and a good ventilation.

Good view, near the sea.
Not comfortable bed, noisy street. Breakfast was poor.

*Getting screamed at by the host because I was not gonna get scammed by paying more for city tax than booking confirmation said I need to pay.
*Flushing in the bathroom didn't work...very romantic holiday indeed.
*Awful parking conditions.
*Wifi kept disconnecting.
*Noisy apartment screaming from other rooms.
*Dirty even saw a cockroach.

The property has a fantastic view of Salerno and is right on the beach with free parking not too far away. It was perfect for two people with a little kitchen so save you some money on eating out all of the time. Host was lovely and friendly.
The flush didn’t work very well so I suggest they get that seen to. It’s not very near the centre, if you walk it can take around 45minutes one way which we didn’t mind but some people might find it a bit too far out of the way.

Great view from balcony, great room and facilities in room
4.6 / 5.0
Confortable bed and very clean, spacious and cosy room, nice decoration.
Isolation from outside noise, weak wifi signal, no kitchen soda to clean, extra charge for using the jacuzzi not mentioned in the conditions, water on the floor under the toilet after flushing and the toilet blind was damaged.
