Ideal quiet location with shops and konbini nearby. Great outdoor activities center is part of the premises. Highly recommended.

Great hostel, a short walk from the train station. Very friendly staff, speak English fluently. We hired bikes for 3 hours and explored the area. There is also free coffee and a big kitchen available for everyone. Wonderful accommodation and only 15 minutes walk from the best onsen we have visited in Japan!

The room is very spacious for Japan and there was plenty of space to put your luggage. I really enjoyed how we could do our laundry in the room and hang it out to dry outside in the sun (just remember to bring some laundry liquid/powder). The bed and pillows were very comfortable also and a lot of natural light came into the room. The aircon also had an automatic mode which kept the room at a great temperature throughout the day and night. I would definitely stay here again!
The staff are also wonderful and have great communication! Our shinkansen was delayed one city over due to the typhoon and they very kindly stayed 30 mins after check in closed so that we could check in.
The location is convenient to a train station and is about 2 stops to the centre of town. Although we didn't get the chance to use the shared space at the hostel, I could see many activities to do on a rainy day at the hostel itself, and the shared space looked so cozy with lots of fun seating.
The kitchenette area smelt a little funny.

The staff is friendly and kind enough to take 2 heavy luggages to 3F for us with no elevator! There is bouldering area, spacious common area, free washing machine and the environment is very relaxing.
There is no elevator in the building.

As I made the move to Hamamatsu, I needed a place to stay while I got my apartment sorted. I was fortunate to find 365Base Hostel instead of staying at a hotel. I liked that they have private lodging as I had to work during the day as staying in a shared accommodation would have been inconvenient for me.
There were a couple of times when other guests broke the rules when it came to quiet hours, but I don't fault the staff. The guests should have known better as there are signs plastered all over the place. Also, it should be easier to handle bike rentals, especially when it comes to trying to get one in the morning. A better selection of bikes would be beneficial as well as you negotiate the different road surfaces around Hamamatsu.

The decor and atmosphere were super warm and inviting.
The walls are a bit thin. Also, I think one of the neighbors owns a disgruntled duck. It was quacking all morning while I was trying to sleep.

Very friendly staff and nice design. Interior design invites the people to interact with each other - I like this. Also large parking space in the back. And there is free coffee in the common space.

I and two others arrived at 15:00, but we were not allowed to check in until 16:00. I think a little flexibility would be appreciated by guests.
In this case one guest had just come from the hospital after a bicycle accident. She had to wait outside but clearly would have been much happier if she could lie down.

The hostel is really nice. It is very beautiful and follows a camp/mountaineering theme. Facilities were great and good quality. I felt very cosy and comfortable
The duvet is a bit too short for a westerner.
