About this apartment rental
Welcome to the Era Retreat. A junior one bedroom, one bathroom suite located right in the heart of downtown Victoria. This is an upscale unit that includes all the necessities and comforts of home. It has a well laid out kitchen with stainless steel appliances (stove top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher), a convenient eating bar and in suite laundry. A deep soaker tub to rejuvinate your bones after a long day of exploring all the corners of the city. Two high-definition televisions with cable and PVR, complimentary wifi, a Blue Ray DVD player, stereo, board games, and a landline phone for local calls provide entertainment without even leaving the suite.
The unit can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children with a queen size bed and a sofa that pulls out into a comfy double bed. Sorry no pets.
There is no parking available in the building. However, street parking is free from 6 pm to 9 am, Mondays to Sundays. The City of Victoria-Park Victoria app can be downloaded which will allow you to add time to your meter without going out to your car (as long as the meter isn’t the type that accepts coins). There is also a city parkade, Johnson Street parkade, located on the street behind our building which is good for longer term parking. There is actually a handy walkway from the parkade to our building. Please visit the City of Victoria website for info and rates.
Enjoy your coffee on the furnished deck in the morning sun or sip a glass of wine in the afternoon/evening and watch the vibrant downtown action around you.
Just steps outside the door you will find every type of restaurant to please your palate, a movie theatre right next door, museums, bars, shopping, sightseeing, and night clubs to keep your days and nights busy. Historical Chinatown (we recommend Fan Tan Cafe for the best Chinese food!), the Inner Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf, City Hall, Victoria Public Market, Market Square, the Parliament Buildings, Government Street, Empress Hotel, Antique Row, and theatres are all within walking distance. Other must-see attractions that are outside of the downtown area include Butchart's Gardens, Goldstream Park, the Town of Sidney, and many beautiful golf courses for the golfers.
Victoria is a beautiful, friendly, city that offers many attractions and activities for an amazing and affordable vacation. Come and enjoy all that Victoria has to offer.

We had a great stay. The condo is in a great location close to everything. We will definitely book with this property owner again. Only drawback, we love to watch sports on TV but couldn’t get any but rent would have to be higher if we did. Loved the unit. Joe Merkel

This was an A+ experience in every way. The facility was excellent and exactly as pictures showed. It was so convenient to get to stores for supplies and to the waterfront. With my husband being handicapped it was an excellent choice.

Suite exactly as pictured. Location was perfect, especially for someone with limited mobility. Close to shopping,, restaurants galore, bus stops and the whole downtown area. Would highly recommend it.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Unfortunately, neither Rick or Nancy were available to meet us so we struggled a little with the check in process, especially in light of the fact we were standing outside in the rain. However, once that was resolved, everything went great and the accommodations meet our expectations. Parking was a bit of and issue in that you never knew if there would be an available space. We were there for six days and found parking except for once. That night we had to find street parking and then get up and move our car in the morning. If you do not have a car, this location is in the middle of everything, restaurants, shopping and the waterfront.

A fun experience
The unit is very secure yet in the hopping part of town. We walked or rode the bus to all destinations. The unit is spotless, well supplied and the bed was very comfortable. The modern decor did not sacrifice comfort. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get a taste of downtown loft living.

Very clean and awesome location!
Loved staying here. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! Also very centrally located with the most delicious organic cafe/ bakery next door. I will definitely book again.

Perfect place for a Victoria holiday!
This apartment is perfectly located to allow exploring the waterfront, shopping, and restaurants. We were able to visit the Parliament building for a tour. What a beautiful place. While there, we learned they have a restaurant in the building. We made reservations and we were royally treated while dining on really good food, scrumptious desserts all at very friendly prices! We recommend ERA304 without reservation!

Awesome location
The whole check in process was simple, and the location was perfect. Walking just a few blocks from countless stores and every kind of food available. You really don’t need to drive anywhere,
because Victoria parking is a premium. I would definitely rent here again and recommend to friends and family.

A Little Gem
Although not very big the condo was extremely well equipped and very clean Rick was easy to communicate with. The check in and out process was easy . A great location to explore Victoria’s downtown, the inner harbour and Chinatown. Excellent suggestions for supper were given too .

Great location
Very good location in a modern secure building. It is close to all amenities and al areas of tourist interest. It is walking distance to many shops, Chinatown, the Inner Harbour, legislature, Museum, Beacon Hill Park and Mile "0", Crystal pool is about 15 minutes walk away (for those that like 50m length swims).
Suite is very clean and set up for staying in or visiting out. Although downtown it is quiet in the evenings with a foot-only walkway outside the patio - which receives the warmth of the morning sun.

The owner was very helpful and check in was quick and easy. The unit was clean, very quiet and centrally located, no car needed. The bed, towels, linens and kitchen were all top notch. It is a five star.

Our stay was short but the Era Retreat was so perfect for all we wanted to see and do. Central to everything in Victoria - no need for a car - and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, attractions and historic sights. The condo is well equipped and the deck is superb.
