approach to hotel is pathetic. cabs cannot come in easily. wifi was available, but terrible connection,.no elevator, and no hot water.

The location is great, at the heart of Hauz Khas village, close to many pubs. The decoration is minimal and modern. Rooms are spacious and have all basic amenities. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. The cafe downstairs, “Fika”, offers great coffee and food options. A must try!
The property where we stayed does not have an lift/elevator. Even though the staffs helped us with our luggages to carry upstairs, but it’s a problem for them too to carry heavy bags upstairs. The road is really narrow where the property is. Hence taxis might might refuse the come all the way in front of the hotel gate.

Great location, has really friendly staff, a nice cafe, and a spacious room.
The bathroom was really dirty with mold/fungus-like things on the shower walls, no attention to detail there, the garden view was nice to have but the view is of a lot of trash. The hairdryer didn't work, the room smelled heavily of fragrance oil. Given all these factors, the room was overpriced for the quality of accommodation and cleanliness.

Though the "hotel" failed to get the basics right, the staff are nice and friendly and helpful. Though breakfast is included it's very basic and pretty poor, but the coffee was good. Overall, a pretty awful experience and wouldn't recommend.
It's very much a hostel, quite run down and very overpriced. If you're on the first floor, expect no sleep (no outside wall so very noisy from outside, and can hear everything from the cafe downstairs). If moved any higher, you'll have no hot or warm (only freezing cold) water, so you might sleep, but can't wash.

Hostelartige Unterkunft in cooler Umgebung. Stylische Zimmer, aber etwas abgelegen. Im Winter ist nicht geheizt….
Das Hotel müsste geheizt werden!

The service level was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had 5 ala carte options which gave us variety for the 3 nights we were there. The dinner was quite decent too.
The hot water in the bathroom does not last for more than a couple of minutes and that was quite uncomfortable especially in the cold season. Also it is not mentioned on the website that there are no lifts and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs each time to go to our room on the 4th floor.

The location and the view from the private terrace was amazing. In the evening it is amazing to see large green spot without any buildings right in the middle of the city. In the morning you can see the peacocks on trees.
I rented a patio room for myself and my wife. The room is made out of tin and built on the top of the terrace. There is a certain stench in the room all the time. I also saw a lot of insects and a cockroach running around next to the refrigerator. The toilet was also not good at all, no supplies were provided in the bathroom, the towels were never changed. Since the room is built using tin it becomes extremely hot during summers, I felt like for the price it is a complete ripoff. I paid around 5000, a fair price for this property should be around 3000.
The payment option is also weird, too much emphasis on the person renting to pay through weird options. I was traveling and a day before I was in Agra enjoying my time when I got harassed with numerous calls to pay for the property right then. This is the first time I had this problem on booking.com. Usually I just pay directly at the property or the property charges through booking.com but for this they called me and then sent me a broken link to pay and a lot of slight things which makes me avoid this property for the future. Also there are no elevators so you will have to carry your heavy luggage all the way to the top.

There is nice rooftop although empty and devastated a little bit.
Some staff members were nice - that’s the best I can say about it.
This place deifinitely doesn’t look like in the pictures. It’s old and not really renovated. When you come there with a luggage you have to go with it for couple hundreds meters - there is no road that taxi can come to the hotel.
In the winter time it’s freezing cold and the only heater there is give almost no heat.
You can hear everything happening in the building but it’s bigger problem in India.
Haus Khas Village is nice location, you don’t feel like in Delhi but there is nothing particulary interesting in terms of fashion or design.

There are several plusses I noticed. Starting with the luggage helping person, Ravinder, who certainly went a few extra miles to ensure the room is well done with all the comfort promised. Of course, the reception, café, and all the support crew - Nayeem, Birju, Lalit, Govind, Chef, and Co. - were simply excellent in making guests feel welcome and at ease. Location itself is simply one of the best I have seen around there. This will be an excellent choice for those visiting New Delhi and want to experience a European night-out feel in their backyard! Plenty of choices – for dining, hangout, and a little sight-seeing closely as well. Not sure if there was any glaring gap in the hospitality. Perhaps a little flexible checkout, heating/hot water, etc. - those things were handled promptly, when informed. Thanks to the reception crew! Overall, the place and people deserve full 5* marks.
Nothing glaring. Included in the review above.

The interior is really nice! Everything is clean and the staff is super friendly. The room we had (Junior Suite) was spacious and also nicely decorated.
The hotel is good for recharging after a day in de busy and hectic city of Delhi.
If you have internet on your phone you can easily find the hotel. Otherwise is looks a bit "hidden". But once you know where it is you can easily find it again.
The bed could have been comfier. The bed was huge but the mattress was not very thick. But that's the only thing really.

the location was not great. its very deep inside the street and cab access is very difficult

The room that we were alloted had excellent sunlight and beautiful decor. The environment was serene and calm while being in the heart of the city. The food had a good range of options at breakfast, and the service was quite prompt.
Nothing really, everything was prim and proper and up to the mark. There was nothing negative about it.

They brought the food to our room
We arrived at night after the train was delayed.
We were surprised to find that there was no running water in the toilet and shower and we had to wait for two hours
They did not take responsibility for the problem they had, we paid a lot of money and did not receive a return for the price.

Great cafe and really nice people at Cafe Fika! It was nice traveling alone here, I made friends with the staff pretty quickly :) Really fun location and felt safe walking around alone.
The room is a bit dirty if you look closely. Also make sure you’re aware that cars can’t drive to the property, so best to arrange somebody to meet you at Hauz Khas parking to help with luggage.

The hotel was pet accomodative and few staff members were pet friendly. Staff were responsive although, limited due to the hotel policies and management issues. The charges for pets are exorbitant. The food was acceptable.
Everything. The hotel is situated in an area that is accessible through muddy, congested lanes lined up with small shops and vendors, most of the time taxis refuse to come to the hotel's door. The rooms are in need of major maintenance and upgrade, they are not worth the amount being charged. The pictures and descriptions on the booking.com page are total misrepresentations. The breakfast was fair but was a repetitive menu (same menu) on all days of our stay, it never changed.
The hotel is adjoining a small village and forest area, which has garbage piled up and visible from the room windows.
The hotel has an open verandah which can be a safety issue, as it's easily accessible and scalable by miscreants. The room lock was damaged and the door could be opened with just a push.
Due to misleading information and pictures, we booked the hotel. The price of this budget (1-2 star level) property is as high as a 5-star hotel in a good locality nearby.
The bathrooms were dirty and in bad condition. The linen provided was old and torn and sometimes we felt they were not properly cleaned. The linen had lost its white color and was visibly yellow or off-white.
The services staff are not trained well and do not know how to react to a situation. One property doesn't have elevators and has 4 floors, the other one has elevators. The Hotel is situated in Hauz Khas Village (not Hauz Khas), which is another misunderstanding you can have. The place is crowded on weekends and holidays due to a lot of clubs in a small place. Not at all recommended if traveling with children of impressionable age.
The place was very noisy and we could not sleep at all. The next day we were shifted to a different room, where the noise was still there but was less. Our pet fell sick after eating the food provided by the Hotel cooked as pet food.
