rejuvenating

This beautiful hidden gem is a perfect quiet getaway within easy driving distance of Cairns. we loved not having the distractions of television and getting back to enjoying nature. The pool is just divine!

Beautiful place to stay

View, location and pool all amazing. Beautiful property, we will definitely return. Just a short drive to Port Douglas. Beautiful place to stay.

The only thing id change is the bed, which was as hard as a rock, extremely uncomfortable so I couldnt sleep both nights but the couch was comfy.

Beautiful relaxing getaway

Beautiful area & spacious venue. Kids loved the pool and lots of room for adults to relax. We appreciated the large indoor area that was open plan and air conditioned to cater to wet or dry and escape the mosquitoes. We took along books, puzzles and board games and there was plenty of space for the whole family to relax or do an activity of their choice both indoors and out.

Overall a lovely stay but a couple minor issues. These likely could have been resolved easily but our host did not respond to an initial email so we did not bother them with any further queries. Bearing in mind our stay was between Xmas and new year, so potentially just not an ideal time. Two empty hand soap dispensers in the bathroom but no soap to refill them. Some lights were either not working or could not find the switch. Pillows without pillow cases on the kids beds. I would have appreciated the venue description to recommend bringing mosquito repellent as the outdoor areas were practically unusable without it. We needed to purchase hand soap, sugar and repellent which is fine but would have preferred to do so beforehand and not during our stay.

Best NYE Ever!

Location was picturesque, the sound of the ocean all day and night was so relaxing, swimming in the pool and looking out to the beach was amazing, felt like we were overseas on a paradise sland

Exceptional

View and inside the house were beautiful, loved our stay.

The rain came in heavy and water was pouring in over the day bed and over the top of the coffee machine and electrics

Exceptional location, Phill was a fantastic host. The cabin was perfect in every way, the beach is a 30 sec stroll away, it is virtually yours alone!!! We are completely rejuvenated and already longing to return 🥰🥰

Some TLC required and would be perfect

Great location & view - perfect concept with pool and outdoor living environment

A shame many things in the kitchen living area were very tired, unclean and broken, no hot water, draws not able to shut, washing machine not working properly, cutlery etc dirty - If all fixed it would be great.

The refreshing sound of waves was wonderfully cathartic. Helpful advice from hosts was appreciated.

For us, the foreign outdoor decorations unfortunately detracted from the lovely Australian bush and coastal setting. Some genuinely ergonomically comfortable seating would help a lot.

A true peace cabin.

Idyllic and secluded elevated beachfront location was enhanced by the private infinity pool. The undercover outdoor kitchen and dining added to the holiday feeling. Interior was cool and peaceful.

R&R at Peace Cabin

Peace Cabin was a lovely place to stay. With beach front location and views and nothing but the sound of the ocean, it is all about rest and relaxation. The gorgeous cabin is well-equipped with everything you could need at your fingertips. It's a little more remote than some places in and around Port Douglas but that's also the beauty of it. Would highly recommend a stay at Peace Cabin, you won't regret it!
