We cooked our own food but plenty of additional condiments and utensils. We had pre dinner drinks under the a grape arbour and ate in the dining room and loved it. bed rooms were lovely and very comfortable
Location was good but too far to walk to the city centre

Ella's place is amazing. A real treasure to find and so elegantly decorated and styled perfectly to the property. Every room is a delight to behold, and the book of renovations is a lovely touch. I would absolutely recommend this as a fabulous place to stay.

Very comfortable 3 day stay in Broken Hill. The cottage is quirky and quaint and provides an interesting flashback to life in the mid 1900s.
Less clutter - especially in the kitchen and refrigerator.

The key code made entering Ella’s place super easy. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the whole place feels like home as soon as you walk in the door. It was an oasis of calm after 5 days on the road and we all enjoyed our time there.

Ella's Place is a total gem of a cottage! The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Spacious, cooling and wi-fi available. The history of the renovation of the cottage is fascinating and it is full of lovely artwork and memorabilia from the era. We were able to totally relax and enjoy our all-too-brief stay.
Can't really think of anything in this category.

It is an old miners cottage, lovingly renovated and full of eclectic furniture and decor items. it is a very comfortable home, the beds fantastic and the linen of wonderful quality.
Corinne has ensured that the house is very well appointed that and her guests will be very happy. Our dog was also happy too with a fully fenced safe garden ( not sure the next doors cat was very happy though🥴
Coming from a tourism background, we were very impressed.
The lane is very narrow and the gate and drive quite tight to back into, though in saying that after the first time it was pretty easy.

Ellas Place was a great little place to stay. It was a step back in time, quirky and comfy. Airconditioning is great, bed was wonderful, everything you needed was there.
You dont need to take the basics ie coffee, tea etc because everything is there.
The hosts are lovely and helpful.
Would definitely stay again.
The only thing that was a bit off were the amount of artificial flower arrangements in the rooms, and that they really needed a good clean. They were really dusty and old looking. New ones would look awesome. Also i think a good deep clean of all the rooms would make a huge improvement to the house. The walls needed a good wipe down and the curtains were quite dusty. The windows had beautiful old iron work front doors across them to protect the home from break ins, and altho they did the job , they also needed a good clean to get the build up of dust off, and generally freshen them up.
The sink needed a good scrub to shine it up and get the tarnish off and the washing machine was not clean.
I believe the hosts do not live in Broken Hill, so its hard for them to keep an eye on things. The things ive mentioned are not a huge deal, neither are they deal breakers, but just suggestions to freshen it up. We really loved Ellas, and have recommended Ellas Place to our friends.

Ella's Place is a delightful cottage about a 5 minute drive from the centre of Broken Hill. It has all the facilities we needed and easily accommodated the four of us.

I travelled with my dad and dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
Ella’s Place was meticulously furnished to reflect a bygone era relevant to its setting. The beds were amazingly fluffy, and the house was decked out with everything you could hope for when traveling.
You shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Some initial concerns we had about the street were overcome after our first night. the street is quiet, but the turn into the property can be tough to negotiate on a larger car. I’m clutching at straws with this feedback though. There are no obvious cons with Ella’s Place.

Quaint old cottage with lots of charm
Loved it all
