The lodge was fantastic. It overlooks the Itezhi Tezhi reservoir. The staff was fantastic. Food was great and it was a great stay!

To me, the friendliness of and support by the staff was outstanding. Given the limitations of the property, the stay was a real pleasure.

Superb location overlooking the lake with an excellent pool. Accomodation and restaurant/bar very good. Staff excellent. right next to the park gate.
A liitle unprepared for our late arrival.

No good breakfast. Very minimum items. Very good location and environment but room service is bad. Not enough linen. No consumables in the room. Very basic accommodation. Booking.com should confirm the standard of service before include in the listing. This is second time disappointed like Hilton Chapeltown.
Room service.

The food was prepared locally and with ingrediences from garden..- compliments to the chef!
-Shower should be renovated
-The prices for sandwiches were the same as for dinner (although we were told they are for half price)

Really good and professional staff, great kitchen staff and beautiful new rooms, with a more then a great view!
We had a marvelous dinner on the terrace with a private fire, really cosy, the staff did everything to feel us two special.
We had periods without power that was a pitti, but the staff did everything to help. And dinner with candles was very romantic.

Excellent location with a view of Lake Itehdzi Itehdzi. Room was clean with crisp cotton bedding. Balcony overlooking the lake. Friendly bar and the restaurant cuisine was delicious. Highly recommend!

The views from the rooms facing the lake!
There are no separation in rooms with 3 beds.
There is one socket located in bad location behind the bed. No sockets in the bathroom, in the room we received.

Nice view of the lake but a bit messy outside. The actual main lodge and dining area was nice. The people working were great with hospitalty. Dinner was good.
The room was very dated, no A/C and had to request a fan. Certainly some guest may not accept, but few viable options nearby. The pool was a bit murky and the beer was warm. The rooms are not sealed enough to keep insects out.
4.0 / 5.0
The staff in the kitchen were phenomenal. They went an extra mile to accommodate our special dietary needs. The rooms were spacious and cosy. The gentleman at the reception was very welcoming and accommodating
The period of the visit was extremely hot and the fans in the room were not very helpful. It would have been nice if some of the rooms were fitted with air conditioning. This would give choice to the clients as some may want to experience the weather in its natural state while others would need the rooms to be a lot cooler.
