LAKE VIEWS FROM ALL LEVELS! Stunning custom home sitting high on a hill with amazing views of Lake Travis, golf course, and the surrounding Hill Country. Elegant one of a kind finish-out, with high ceilings, walls of glass and a fantastic open floor plan. The outside living is amazing, with two levels for entertaining, a sparkling pool, beautiful views of the lake and hill country. We have taken' every opportunity to ensure the property goes above and beyond our guest's expectations. The property has everything you and your party will need to enjoy a long weekend or a week away.
As a guest, you'll delight in the outdoor pool, where you can soak up the sun and cool off on warm days. Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room on chilly evenings, or indulge in a movie night with fast WiFi streaming. The kitchen is fully loaded with high-end pots and pans, knives, cutting boards, coffee makers (drip and Keurig) and pretty much anything you'd possibly need or want to prepare your meals. Just bring the groceries.
Note that to get the best view, this property has a steep and narrow driveway down to the front door and to the garages that is not ideal to navigate, especially for full-size vehicles. We have street parking for 4 vehicles and guests must park in front of our house, not the neighbors. There is also an adjoining lot we own, suitable for 4x4 parking.
Strictly no parties, maximum of 10 adults at all times, 14 total maximum. No smoking inside, dispose of all trash. No more than 4 vehicles allowed at the property at all times. Age verification through government issued identification required.
There are many parks with lake access, boat ramps, tennis courts, basketball, etc. Guest passes are required and are provided at guest's request free of charge. The nearest lake park with boat ramp is a 5 minute drive.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The furnishings, bedding and decor were all top-notch. The home was large enough for all of us to spread out and have our own bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen is well furnished and allowed us to enjoy cooking all our meals "at home."
We also fully enjoyed all the amenities...pool table, ping pong table, foosball, kayaks and the swimming pool. Access to a private community park along the banks of Lake Travis was a definite plus.
We highly recommend this property, and would love to stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our time at this home. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 adults to visit while eating and relaxing every evening The views from the main living area and deck were spectacular. It was very comforting to have the owner, Mike, reach out to see if any questions or concerns after our arrival.

We rented for 5 days over Christmas, with two adult children and their children and spouses - 10 of us in the 5 bedrooms on 2 floors, the lower at backyard pool level with splendid valley view and game room/double garage.
Huge 2 story high living room and kitchen with all the amenities, including pool table and formal dining room. It was so quiet, yet fully climate-controlled inside, with huge valley view across to golf course or down to Lake Travis. We may well ask to return in coming year(s). Mike is a great host, very responsive & helpful.

This house was exactly what we wanted for our little reunion of six childhood friends. Lots of bedrooms, a good pool, outdoor dining, fire pit, big kitchen and tools to cook meals. Not to mention a great view! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved our daily early morning deer spotting walks to the lake front. Used the kayaks which were good fun. Table tennis and pool tables were well used. Enjoyed hanging out on the deck with beautiful views. Neighbours and locals were friendly.
Mike was a great host, responsive and helpful. I hope we will return.

Great place for large families!
This is our second time staying at this home. We love it and highly recommend for large families. There were plenty of room for the 12 of us and we never felt crowded. The pool is huge plus!

80th Birthday Celebration
What a lovely home! Well equipped with everything we needed, large living areas, spacious kitchen with more than enough room to accomodate a family of 8. This property is simply Amazing with with views of the lake, golf course and what a wonderful way to end a hot summer Texas day by relaxing in your private pool.

Let me tell you I celebrated my 43rd birthday with 7 of my closest friends. It was one the best birthdays ever. The house was wonderful and the view was unbelievable. The relaxing atmosphere kept my friends and I at the house the entire time!!!! The stay gave me much needed peace!!!

Everything was great and we had a wonderful time. The owner was very accommodating and communicative. Lots of room, great kitchen, rooms were well done. Couldn't have asked for better. One of our guests who travels quite often said it was the nicest VRBO he'd ever stayed in.

Perfect House
We had a wonderful stay with the family. This little getaway was for my wife's bday. It was sort of a last min getaway since this year has been much of the same due to COVID. Incredible Weekend Getaway
House had everything my family needed for a long weekend gettogether. We loved spending time in the backyard enjoying the beautiful pool. Host had excellent communication and even helped us with access to Cody Park (private, HOA owned) so we could get out rented kayaks and stand-up paddleboards into the lake. Highly recommended!

Family Get Together
We really enjoyed everything about this property, from beginning to end. Very welcoming and helpful hosts, easy check-in and everything was as advertised (or better). For our two families, the layout of the house was excellent, with plenty of space for getting together or spreading out. The pool was great for hanging out, and the (multiple) downstairs playrooms were a huge hit. Comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen. Kudos to the owners for making this a very family-friendly and fun retreat.

Lago Vista
Nice large home. Swimming pool was great. Quiet neighborhood. Can see lake from second floor but it is not close. Driving distance. Neighborhood parks were ok but beach was rocky and not great for kids. Some trash. Rented a boat for half a day. Lake is huge and on weekday almost no other boaters.

Awesome place to stay
Our stay at this house was great! We went with our kids, grandkids (ages 5-10) and a friend. Every step of the process to rent was easy and Mike was great to work with. He had a very detailed print out about everything in the house and the area. The grandkids loved all the indoor game tables, games and pool toys. We had a small pool problem and Mike was on top of it right away. Very apologetic about the inconvenience and tried his best to get it fixed in a timely manner. The entire house was beautiful and well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone. The grandkids loved the kids room with bunk beds. The entire trip was great and I would definitely stay in this house again if I was going to Lago Vista.

Beautiful Home
Mike was very communicative throughout our stay in Lago Vista. As someone mentioned before, the photos don't do the house justice. It is spacious, surrounded by nature, views of the lake and your own private swimming pool. We rented it for a family gathering and everyone had a lovely time.

We really enjoyed this house - the heated pool was excellent and it was super spacious for 6 adults and 3 kids. The house has toys and plates/bowls for the kids which was super helpful. The kitchen was perfect for cooking lots of meals and the two living rooms were nice. We loved the lake view from the windows. The pictures don’t do it justice - the house is gorgeous. Communication with the owner was excellent, he was super responsive each time we needed something.

Great family getaway
We loved our visit. The house was perfect for our group with lots to do to keep our kids (ages 10-15) busy and lots of space to give the grownups room to spread out. Everyone enjoyed the pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, and pool. The outdoor living spaces are wonderful. And on a walk to the nearby lake we spotted at least a dozen deer. The owner, Mike, was the most responsive VRBO host we have ever had, and the house was amazingly stocked with just about anything you might want. We hated to leave and will definitely be back!

Perfect Staycation.
My family of 4 stayed here the week after Christmas. The home was immaculate and is a great place to stay with older kids/teens. The pool is heated, so we were able to enjoy it even though it was December. My kids loved having plenty of space to spread out. We had a couple of minor issues during the trip (for instance, the pool wouldn't heat when we first arrived). However, the property manager, Mike, was very responsive and resolved any issue quickly.
My only complaint is that I wish there were instructions for the gas stove top! I was way to nervous to mess with that. Otherwise, no complaints.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at the property while visiting family, friends and exploring this part of Texas. The property was immaculate and very well supplied and maintained. The views of the hill country and Lake Travis were stunning. We will be back!

Self Care Weekend Getaway
This home was perfect for the ladies self-care weekend getaway! With the world seemingly on punishment and work/life balance lines being blurred, a self care weekend was the reset that we needed. An exceptionally clean place with enough space to have meals prepared and cooked by Chef Gil (Austin based) for the group, peaceful environment for Mawazo Counseling & Consulting to come and lead the Self-care activities and amenities to simply relax and take in the views!
Mike and Lindsey’s property, home, neighborhood & beautiful scenery exceeded expectations! Even though this stay was for the ladies retreat, I’d highly recommend checking this particular property for anyone looking to stay in a nice and conveniently located home on the lake. The variety of amenities provided by the hosts was definitely a bonus, it was something for every guest to enjoy. Communication prior to and after booking, from check in to leaving the property was effective and a breeze. Thank you for having us and I look forward to returning in the near future!
