Lovely little cottage. Very old school inside, small TV in lounge, old style sofa etc, but so nice to relax with family. It's quite hot overnight, so if you open the windows, you'll hear the farm animals( obviously, as it's on a farm), but it's very relaxing, and we'd definitely stay again. It's clean and well equipped. 14 min drive from Alton towers. Similar drive to supermarkets etc too. Lovely host. (Buy their fresh farm eggs too, top notch 👌)
Nothing really...

Had everything you needed 👍🏻

Locatie is perfect. Dichtbij Peak District maar ook bij Middelgrote steden
Het huisje is van al het noodzakelijke voorzien
De bedden zijn net wat kort

It was very cosy and quiet. Very peaceful and comfortable.
A few basics would have been appreciated such as salt, pepper, vinegar, etc.
Some cushions on the sofa maybe as not very comfortable.
Also things like a fruit bowl, coat pegs, recycle bins, more oven pans, Large plates and bowls. Scissors that cut properly!

Everything about the cottage was perfect for us
Secure parking, the cottage is spacious warm clean . It has all the essentials you need and not full of useless clutter/decoration
Owner was outstanding when it came to accommodating some date changes etc , Thank you
Not a dislike just a preference of a more powerful shower especially when having to share with kids haha but I understand this isn't always possible due to water supply etc

Perfect location for us to visit lud church
The property was clean, comfortable, lovely scenery and the own was awesome too ❤️

The place was very warm and cosy. Safe for our 2 and 5 year olds to run around indoors well.
Shower pressure was the only thing we noticed. Everything else was great!

For the price a very spacious place, and and quiet, for a good rest.
Heating is horrible, it was very cold, one of the electric heaters broke on the first hour, the microwave exploded, and the shower is one of the mini water heaters that you can't wash up like a normal person.
Overall don't go to this cottage at the winter if you like you're stay to be like a barbarian.

Very clean and tidy cottage in superb decorative order. Very helpful and concerned owner. Fab location if you like ‘remote’, which we did.
Let down by tired fixtures and fittings. Only has a wet room with basic electric shower and so everything gets wet – not ideal. It could just benefit from an update.

Great stay, clean & tidy, great views and sunset

The friendly welcome. The personal touches. The outdoor garden space and facilities were beautiful and my children adored the farm animals.
Nothing negative to say. It was wonderful.

breakfast not applicable. scenery was superb from cottage and. good weather . relaxing stay suited us perfectly. hosts there if you wanted anything. parking right outside of the property so very convenient to unload and no steps no problems at all.
we would have liked to be able to access the property but earlier, say 3pm. instead of 5pm nothing else really and we understood really as this is a working farm.

Very convenient cottage. Great if you are visiting Alton towers. Nice and cosy. Has everything that you need. Nice welcome too. Would highly recommend.

Lovely location and really friendly and kind owners
Wi-Fi wasn't great, Tv didn't work very well and 9am checkout wasn't great either

It was in a lovely location, views were very nice, beds very comfortable.
It was very basic- didn’t feel homely or cosy.
Needs small touches to make it feel more homely.
TV didn’t work properly - signal very poor, same with the WIFI.

Good value for money, great location and very clean.
Good location, clean and generally well fitted out. We did find the duvet in the 2nd bedroom to have a very synthetic feel to it and a bit uncomfortable.
And did struggle to find it a bit. Would suggest that on Booking.com more detailed instructions are listed.
But overall an enjoyable stay with no major issues.

Every detail attended too. Spotlessly clean facilities and a peaceful haven.
I slept like a baby for the first time in years due to a very comfortable bed and silence at last!
The host was friendly and helpful and did not intrude in any way.
I almost don't want to rate the place so that I can have it all to myself, whenever I like next time (chortle)
A slight draft under the front door -rectified by the owner immediately
Leaving.
