Location good clean and comfortable
Garden was very small and shabby needs some TLC

Lovely little cottage, it was big enough, and comfortable. Shower and bath. Back bedroom very comfortable bed. Nice to have small area outside.
Front bedroom needs same mattress as back bedroom. Wardrobe full with coffee table and bedding, impossible to hang clothes in. No fans provided. Not enough crockery, didnt use dishwasher. Had to hand wash after every meal, only 3 of us. Complained to agent about back door impossible to lock and unlock, promised someone would be in touch to book a visit, didnt happen. Decking rotting and broken in places. Stained carpets. Could be fantastic little place if all the above addressed and then it would be worth what we paid.

My family and I turned up for a holiday here and someone else was in the property. The owner did nothing to ensure that the property was vacant before my arrival. We had to book another more expensive property on the same estate.

Great location. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Short drive into Rye. Not far from Hastings. Bedding, kitchen utilities and bathroom was clean. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived was a nice touch.
The property could do with a proper clean. The floors and rugs where filthy and the sofas could do with a wash. A few light bulbs weren't working. Small back garden could do with a little spruce up as it would of been nice to sit out there in the evening.

The property was a lovely, well equipped, nicely decorated, clean, comfortable home away from home. Simple tasteful furniture. A stone's throw away from the beach. The most amazingly powerful shower. Easy to get to and with free on street parking on first come first served basis. We didn't have any trouble over our 5 night stay to be able to park. There was a lovely little welcome package which was a lovely touch. There was a good selection of leaflets and information about the local area, which helped us order food easily. We settled in well from the moment we arrived.
The following are not at all complaints, just some suggestions:
The first 2 nights of our visit was during the heatwave with temperatures of 29 or more. With the windows open it helped to get the house cooler. We also took our own tower fan with us which helped hugely during the nights. As we are experiencing more and more hot weather, it may be an idea to have a few tower fans (as they take less space for storage and when in use) available.
As a few others have mentioned in the guest book, some wine glasses would also be nice.
The hand shower holder needs to be tightened as its quite loose and could possible come off in the near future through repeated use.

i stayed with a friend and two children. Lovely place, very cosy, the pillows a little poor quality, linen and towels clean, comfy overall. spacious, as opposed that one review online stated. The dryer in the washer dryer not working, as we stayed 6 days we needed it with kids around. I would stay again though.
distance to sea, pillows, dryer

Great location in a lovely quiet estate. It was so easy to book and we had everything we needed for a few days at the seaside with family.
The outside could do with a bit of TLC, we left some bits out to dry but couldn't enjoy it.

The location was great, 5 min walk to the Dunes and the glorious beach for fabulous walks any time of the day. I can imagine that during the height of the season it may be difficult to park, although there is a marked car park space for the cottage but parking outside the front door is doable. We went during a pretty quiet period when it was 'outside ' eating and drinking only but it was perfect for us. Go to Rye, Hastings and Dungeness, which has a fish shack perfect for lunch.
There were a few moans from my companions about there being no internet but it didn't bother me too much.

Near to the beach, good costal walks. Well equipped house, very comfortable. Very nice welcome pack. We had a lovely quiet week which was just what we wanted and needed.
We didn't know where to put the rubbish and recycling , finally found bins and the parking space (We don't drive so that wasn't important to us). Directions should be in the information book. Also info that was in the book was out of date - bus timetables etc.

Extremely cosy and comfortable. All the facilities of home, including dishwasher! Minutes from beach. Plenty of other attractions nearby.
Garden could have been weeded.
