Remote, relaxing
Breakfast was not offered.

A very welcoming host, a lovely picturesque location. Just wished I had the time to stay a little longer. Considering its about 45 minutes from Roslare it worth the extra drive if you are coming from the ferry.
Not worth mentioning

It was all lovely. Nice touch with a little breakfast in the morning.
No power in the tent.

Great tent and breakfast was nice bonus

The property is located on a country residence with fields, horses, and trees surrounding it - a beautiful country setting. Lisa, the host, and her lovely family were very welcoming and friendly. They immediately made us feel at home. Mannion’s Pub and fruit market is just a short walk down the road. New Ross town is just a short drive away.
Keeping electronic devices charged was a bit of a challenge. A small charging station of some sort would be very convenient.

The location
Booked a room with shower facilities but was given a TP tent with shared on site bathroom facilities. Tent was freezing and bed was made for a child.

Room was a wifi black spot

We needed a last minute stay and the Ferry House delivered. I was expecting a one room unit and was pleasantly surprised at the spacious and lovely accommodations. Our family of 4 was able to spread out.
I liked it all

The place was cozy, and we felt very welcome.

Clean facilities
No mobile phone coverage. I had to drive down the road to make a call and send messages. There should be free Wi-Fi available, not offered.

Very nice place and the owners were very friendly and even booked us a meal locally.
very roomy for 4 of us.
Could have put some milk in the fridge but it was not too far to go and get some

Quiet location
Bed frame was broken and shower drain blocked. Shower room very very small and a bit damp. Had booked a room with garden space and sauna but did not have these..

We stayed in a chalet, with a ground floor consisting of a living area a dining area and two bathrooms, upstairs was a double bed and four comfortable single beds. We were provided with towels , bed linen and all the kitchen wear you would need. I could recommend the place highly enough.

Lisa and John, plus the charming children and not forgetting the adorable pup Samson, were 100% friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The grounds, patio, converted old buildings are all respected and treated with love, making this an amazing venue with a great restaurant/ pub just up the road.

Lisa was an excellent host who was very accomadating to our group of cyclists. The accomadation was most importantly very clean. The location was excellent and its about 500meters walking distance to a gastro pub called Mannions which serves excellent food. Great end point for anyone cycling the Barrow Way but watch out for some extreme hills out of St. Mullins. A great place to stay and we will definitley be back, maybe even for some glamping. A cracking host family and the continental breakfast was a treat. Thanks again for your hospitality.
A TV might be a good upgrade for this property on rainy days but the WiFi was great.

Lovely accommodation and a nice walk to New Ross. Very helpful suggestions from the owner John.
Rudeness of the housekeeper just before our departure. We had accidentally misread the check out time (by ahalf hour ) and had to leave very quickly despite the fact that it was raining heavily.

such beautiful settings in the countryside and a wonderful host

Lovely welcome. The room itself was comfortable and a great size. Great location, with wonderful walks right on its doorstep. Although breakfast isn't automatically included I asked if one might be possible, and I had a very good spread for just 8 euro
Internet/WiFi poor, and no mobile signal (vodafone) - although by walking up the hill behind the property I did manage to get a couple of bars!
