Loved how the location was right on the beach and easy to get to. View and surrounding property were beautiful. Loved the nearby restaurants and shops and loved the nearby town of Fernandina.
The condition of the condo was very run down as if it were the end and not the beginning of the season. The oven smoked and set off the smoke alarm, the sink was clogged and the furniture was very basic. It affected our stay and we left a night early.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this unit, but we love Beachwalker and the management service was responsive when we had issues.
Unfortunately, the owners have not kept up the unit. Drawers fall out of the chest of drawers when you open them, fans in both bathrooms do not work, one of the two outlets in kitchen does not work, and Wi-Fi in bedrooms for use of a computer is sketchy. We were told that there was a Wi-Fi outage, but when it was back up my husband could still not get Wi-Fi to use his computer reliably. I don’t know if this was a fluke. The furniture is not very comfortable, but the beds were good. The unit is very dark because there is no overhead lighting in the rooms, which made the whole place feel a little dreary. The pantry has no light in it so I had to use a flashlight to put items in and out. We knew the unit decor was outdated, which did not bother us, but I did not expect everything to be so shoddy.
One day we got locked out of the condo because the door lock pad did not work. When I spoke to the management service they were very nice, but no one could tell us when someone would be there to let us in. When I insisted that the operator give us an estimate or range of time, the operator said he would call me back to let me know, but he did not.
The management service was very apologetic and gave us a $300 refund on the costs of the unit and even offered to move us so my husband would have a better place to work. We appreciated that very much but decided to just have my husband work in the dining room and we went to one of the bedrooms to hang out. We were only there for a short time and it was too much trouble to pack up.
Explained above.

Location was terrific. Overall resort area was great. Pool beach access great. View was great.
This unit was in very very poor condition for the cost. Very outdated decor, broken down beds, uncomfortable chairs. Not at all what was displayed in the booking.com listing.

Waking up with the sunrise and hearing the ocean over my morning coffee and breakfast was the icing on the cake. It was very updated and clean, with plenty of room for my family of 6. The pool and beach was literally minutes from our condo and both were amazing! The pool was clean and beautiful and the beach itself was gorgeous and not busy or crowded at all.
We couldn’t find any cleaning products, like a broom or cleaning spray; there was not any trash bags left for us to use after we disposed of the initial ones and the floors felt like there was still sand on them when we arrived.
