I booked this property for 6 of my employees who were working in Chester for 2 weeks. It was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything they needed and they enjoyed the game room.
From my perspective as an employer it was better than booking multiple hotel rooms. The cost was better, my employees were comfortable and well rested and we felt that the vehicles were safe.
We were able to extend our stay for another week when the project went longer.
Communication with the owner was great as well!

What a perfect getaway!! We really enjoyed our stay.
We have a mixed party of 9 and the accommodations and space was perfect for everyone. The home was very clean and welcoming. Plenty of activities to enjoy in and away from the cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and gathering around the dinner table in the evening and playing board games after a long day at the beach! Cindy is a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive.

First impression was property was very clean and well maintained. Location was close to golf and beach-rec areas. Cindy the owner was readily available for questions or concerns. Size was nice for 6 adults and 4 kids 6,7,7and 11 years old. Had a cool man cave (detached garage) not so good for our young kids but very nice. Kitchen was wellequipped . Property was well depicted .

Enjoyed our annual family outing in this well maintained cabin in Lake Almanor Country Club. The property was well stocked, provided amble parking, a boat slip and Cindy was terrific in communicating during the entire week.

Family vacation
Our family had a wonderful stay at Cedar Ridge. This was our second stay here. It has a great floor plan. Kitchen has 2 empty pantries to story your food items. A large dining table to accommodate many diners. The game room garage was a big hit with many family members. Homeowner was super easy to communicate with. Very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and Enjoyable
Our stay here was fantastic. Cindy had the driveway plowed for us so that we could easily access the property, as there was quite a bit of snow. She was also very helpful and attentive while we were there. The home was well equipped with everything we could need for cooking and sleeping. Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their stay. Perfect family getaway
I do not even know where to start. I’ll start with Cindy. She was so nice and prompt with communication. It made the process feel so much more connected. I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was for celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. There were abundant areas to relax or play after we were done at the beach or boating. The kitchen was so well set up and functional. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Perfect location and home
4 friends on a yearly outing, we stayed at this property for 3 nights. The house is a great location for us, we were picked up by our fishing guide at Rec II for two days on the lake, about a three minute drive with lots of parking. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped (prior to going I asked the owner, Cindy, if there was a dbl boiler for my hollandaise sauce, I really did nor mind bringing mine, but she bought one for the kitchen prior to our arrival!)
We were looking forward to darts and pool, but never got to it, the deck and living room area were so comfortable for our down time, we did check out the 49er appointed recreation room; however, we never played. Lovely and comfortable home for an outing of friends/family.

Can't wait to visit again!
Our time visiting Lake Almanor was amazing thanks in no small part due to the amazing home and our hostess, Cindy. The highlight of this property is the kitchen, dining area, and the living room. It was extremely comfortable and roomy. Our visit was to go snowshoeing and our timing was perfect with a couple of feet of new snow! When we returned, the large fireplace helped to make our downtime relaxing. Evening entertainment was playing pool and darts in the "Mancave." It was great fun, but the space isn't insulated and doesn't have any heat. Something to be mindful of when visiting in cold-weather times. We had so much fun, and would highly recommend the Lake Almanor Country Club to anyone considering visiting this beautiful part of California. Cindy will go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is splendid.

Great Thansgiving Getaway
We couldn't wait to get out of the bay area. Our two families decided to venture out to Lassen since we have never been. CIndy's property is located right in the Lake Almanor Country Club. The community is very central to many activities. We had a great stay in the property. There are separate living areas upstairs and downstairs for the kids and adults. It also has all the basic appliances/tools/bbq that one would need for prepping meals. The area is beautiful and best thing is it is not crowded! It's 40 min. to Lassen for snow activities and 20 min. to fishing at the dam. Starting out from the property, one can walk a good few miles around the pennisula of the lake. Cindy is very accommodating and very prompt with responses. We shall return it the summer!

Overall Great Experience!
This property was exactly what were looking for and was the perfect family get away. Unfortunately our trip was planned right in the middle of this year's horrible wild fires so we were stuck with dense smoke and our trip got delayed by one day due to a PGE PSPS. Our host / property owner was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process! Her communication was prompt and informative and she was very reasonable, respectful, super easy to communicate with, and also very accommodating to our needs and to the changing dynamics of the trip due to external factors that none of us had any control over. The house was exactly as described online and we were so thankful to have the pool table, dart board, cards, and board games to keep the kids entertained and the whole family laughing while we were stuck inside due to the hazardous amount of smoke outdoors. While we didn't get to see much of the lake this trip we were still able to have a great time, and we most definitely plan to book this house again for a return trip next summer. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Perfect Family Getaway
Spacious home is very clean, well equipped, and ideal for family gathering. The man-cave with the pool table, darts, and card table was great for family fun and having extra space for hanging out and playing games. The Wii downstairs was also a big hit with the kids (and adults!). Having use of the boat slip made daily outings on the boat for watersports super easy and convenient, just a 5 minute drive and easy parking. Overall super fun place to be!

Lake Almanor Family Vacation
Excellent property for a large group! The owner Cindy made this booking so easy from the very beginning. Emails were always answered very quickly & thoroughly & she seemed to always have guests best interest at heart. Several days into our stay she emailed me to find out how our stay was going. I told her the Keurig coffee machine was off & on & also that we all were very uncomfortable on the beds-way too hard. 15 min later I heard back from her that she’d gone online & ordered a new Keurig & memory foam mattress covers for all the beds. Now that’s service!! When they were delivered the housekeeper came over & set them up for all of us. It made all the difference in all of our sleeping & comfort.
The kitchen was well-stocked & even had some seasonings- coffee, sugar, oil...certain necessities that you need but hate to buy for vacation.
House was very clean, the man cave hosted several billiards games, the kids roamed the large forest area playing & fed deer. The outside decks were large & comphy for evening’s, & the neighborhood was very nice, safe & quiet.
We were 6 adults & 3 children & everyone hopes to go back next year!

Secluded and beautiful
Sure, there were neighbors...but we didn't hear them and couldn't see a soul from the windows. This neighborhood feels really exclusive, yet it's cozy and warm. With the two couches, our family fit comfortably. Beds were comfy and it was easy to sleep with the quiet neighborhood. The kids loved the downstairs den. We were close to everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. A few things to note:
- No one in our family wanted to sleep on the futon in the garage, so I wouldn't plan on that as an extra bed.
- There's a lot of sap (because there's a lot of trees!), so plan on kicking your shoes off and cleaning them - and your car - once you get home.
- The owners leave you a key card for the gate, so once you're in just grab that and it will be easy to get in the gate for the rest of your visit.
- If you want to use the King room as your master, you'll be sharing a bathroom with the other folks downstairs.

Great vacation home by the lake
When we decided to go to Lake Almanor, it was late in the season and we couldn't find many rentals. We were a little nervous booking this home, but we couldn't have been happier. We had two families staying at the house. It was well equipped for cooking and also for play. We got great use out of the pool table and the hammock. The lake was easy to access and there we were able to park our boat across the street. We wish we could have stayed another week and we wish we could have brought our dog. Other than that, it was perfect and we'd like to return next year.

Beautiful, Peaceful and Plenty of Room!
We had 2 families and the kids had friends come along and there was still plenty of room for everyone. Great set-up for the teenagers with the separate game room and rec room downstairs. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The only slight drawback was that it wasn't closer to the water, but really easy to drive there or walk if you want the exercise!

Beautiful location this home is nestled in the trees at Lake Almanor and a few minutes drive from Rec 1. We enjoyed our stay here. With a well stocked kitchen, this home has what you need to cook and prepare meals. We slept well.

This cabin was perfect!
We had. a great time staying here. I was worried there wouldn't be enough room for 10 of us, but it was perfect. The deck is relaxing and the downstairs is quiet for those that prefer to go to bed early. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, and spices (which we forgot). The location is great and close to the country club and just a short drive to the Marina and other Tartandinos. Enjoy!

Pluses and Minuses, Consider carefully
In the plus column - small but well-stocked kitchen with good appliances and everything you would need to cook and clean with. Good laundry room and game room. The bonus room in the garage is decent, but hot.
The picture of the house is confusing, and perhaps misleading. It is actually the back of the house, which you would never see unless you go out into the back yard. The front of the house is below the street level with a short steep driveway down. Not enough parking for a large group, and definitely not enough parking if you have a boat or Jet Ski.
There are 3 bedrooms, but really only 2 with beds large enough for 2. There is plenty of futon and couch sleeping, if you have kids.
The yard is all dirt - we didn't use it at all for that reason.
The house is good for groups, but families might want a place with a better yard.

This place was just perfect! Plenty of space and very family friendly. The cabin hosted 2 families of 4 with room to spare. Many amenities and fun activities for adults and kids. Most of all we loved the beach access which was close, quiet and had lots of space. We will be back for sure!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Cedar Ridge. The accommodations are very clean and spacious with an updated kitchen. The home is in a perfect location on a quiet street but within a mile of the recreation areas on the lake. There is so much to do! We would spend the days at the lake and the evenings at the house. The kids enjoyed the game room with a pool table and the lounge area that had a card table and board games. I can see starting a family tradition of coming here each summer. We will definitely be back!

Hello, my family just had the pleasure of staying in the lovely home for four days and three nights. We found there was lots to do and the children enjoyed the visit. We spent a whole day out on the water, reinvented two boats from the Knotty Pine Marina (20' pontoon boat and a Ski boat for tubing). I would recumbent the pontoon boat if you enjoy fishing, it has a fish finder on the boat and depth reader as well. The kids even enjoyed the mini golf down the road from the marina next to (think its called) Lumber Jack burgers. The house had everything we needed for cooking or grilling, so we did not eat out at any of the restaurants, but there was a variety of options available. Chester was about a 15 minute drive away, was a nice little town. The kids enjoyed walking around and getting some fresh fruit at a locale fruit stand. At night we all played games at the house, there were a lot to choose from already at the house, plus the game room in the garage. For the little ones, 2 yrs old, 4 yrs old and 9 yrs old, they were happy with Cable TV and the Wifi that were provided with the cabin rental. There was also a very nice walking trail just a few houses up from the Cabin, nice walk for those who enjoy walking outdoors. And the kids enjoyed the hammock that was behind the cabin next to a picnic table. Over all I would recumbent this cabin rental for people of all ages, it was a nice little get away for both the kids and the adults.
