room and location was generally okay, staff was for the most part friendly and helpful

No iron and no effort was made to provide one, I could not leave my bag after check out and I had a late flight. I asked for a slightly later check out until 12 but they started clearing at 11:10 so I felt uncomfortable and left.

Great location, friendly welcome, comfortable, and clean. Nice to have a terrace overlooking the square. Easy to catch a ferry across to Ferragudo and local bus to Carvoeiro.

Superb

Very warm welcome of the ladies helping us with the bags and explaining the apartment. Beautiful large apartment on top. Spacious extra bed for our daughter.

The house is right at the only road into the old city center. Noise was not really a problem due to high insulation windows.

Manager/host met me earlier than check in time without extra cost - most gracious and pleasant - they provided a tour of my suite and other facilities - comfortable bed and pillows, soft towels - contemporary space/decor in older building with some original vintage touches ie interior french door shutters and lobby entrance door - suite had equipped kitchenette and outside of suite a full larger shared kitchen with large table and courtyard patio - close to everything such as amazing restaurants, wine bar, shopping and taxi stand - although my suite was not overlooking the park and on a fairly busy street, the insulated windows kept noise out and the street traffic was almost non existent at night and early morning

Great place to rest

The bed and pillows were excellent. The apartment has great soundproofing from the outside.

It's hard to find a parking space, which made the check-in/check-out process cumbersome with the bags and everything

It's a good value and the building is lovely with a great location to boot.

The hotel is in a terrific 'old town' location. It's a beautiful old building with stone and those thick walls. There is no elevator but Manuela handled everything wonderfully. She is always nearby and due to GPS issues calling her during our arrival time made a big difference in finding the hotel with minimal hassle. It's by the river and walking and there were an ample number of very good restaurants serving local cuisine in easy walking distance. The a/c was great and french doors led out to a little out door patio that was enclosed but open air. A nice spot to sit outside.

The room was a little tight but not unusual for an older building. Parking was a few blocks away but was easily accessed. We were on the top level, however, the stairs were only an issue when checking in and out. Manuela along with one of the other staff insisted on getting our bags up and down. She was a force of nature.

The place is very nice, situated in a renovated building with excellent facilities. Top location at walking distance to different places in the town center! On top of that, Manuela the owner was extremely helpful during our stay!! All in all we’re super satisfied with our stay and experiences here! Definitely recommended :)
