About this house rental
This delightful traditional fisherman’s cottage has been sympathetically restored to offer two bedroom family accommodation for four guests. The property is in a quiet spot in Seahouses, a vibrant fishing village on the Northumberland coast. This child and dog friendly holiday home has a courtyard with table and chairs, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or an alfresco lunch.
Seahouses is a popular spot with some good shops, cafes and pubs, a butchers and supermarket. The bustling harbour is just 50 yards away from the cottage, head to the nearby beach or pack up a picnic and head off on one of the walking trails. Visit the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, or head to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.

Cottage was comfy and had all we needed for a break away just could have done with a door mat at rear door from kitchen into courtyard space. Parking was a big issue as someone abandoned their car right where you said we should park for 4 days out of the 7 everyone I the square was grumbling about it! We had no choice but to park in front of garage so hope we didn't upset garage owner . Lovely beach walks and friendly folk.
