Perfect spot for a classic cape getaway. The home is charming with abundant windows to let in fresh air, and air conditioners for when you need them. Quiet location with serene marsh views, and an easy walk to a secluded stretch of beach, perfect for exploring at low tide or to just sit and read a book. Kitchen was well equipped with all the basics. Beds were comfortable with extra linens. Hosts went out of their way to make communications easy and provide information about the house and the area.Would happily stay here again.

Our stay the 1st week in July was wonderful. The house was situated close to a stunning private beach and overlooked a beautiful marsh- we enjoyed interacting with wildlife such as birds and a mama deer/fawn. The outdoor shower was our favorite. Window AC units kept the house cool and comfortable. Plenty of beds for our family of 5 though we would have loved curtains in the master. We enjoyed eating on the deck overlooking the marsh. Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of beach chairs/toys in the garage. We really enjoyed exploring Barnstable and surrounding towns. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful! Extremely clean, very spacious for our family of six. Great indoor and outdoor space -- we loved it! The house had lots of amenities. Craig and Sharon were wonderful and attentive hosts. We had a wonderful time at the beach, Whale watching, shopping, hiking, and spending family time together. Great vacation!

Very nice house, comfy furniture and enough appliances etc in the kitchen. View of the marsh is fantastic. Four bedrooms in total accommodated us very well. We were sad to go.

This house is in a special location and the views from the deck were beautiful. It's next to the Audubon Nature Preserve which is excellent with trails to beach and marshlands. House was clean and well stocked of all important items. Very quiet and idyllic spot. Enjoyed getting to know Barnstable and surrounding area. Nirvana Coffee near by was a favorite morning pitstop, Hosts were reachable and attentive.

Charming house in a spectacular, secluded location. The house is equipped will all the amenities needed for a beach stay and for in-house entertainment. There is an easy walk to what is essentially a private beach as well as walking trails at the Audubon Center. Fond memories of morning coffee on the deck and gathering around the dining room table for meals and fun. Loved getting to know charming Barnstable Village.

This is a lovely property with absolutely beautiful marsh views. It is equipped with all the comforts of home and everything you need for a beach vacation. The bedrooms are all spacious and very comfortable with the best air conditioners. The house is located on a very pretty, quiet road right off of quaint Route 6A. It is an easy walk to the Long Pasture beach - we did it with a 6 and 7 year old. The owners are very friendly, kind and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a rental property on the Cape.

Thank you Craig and Sharon.

This home was ideal for our extended family of 4 adults. Husband and I were in the master on the main level, sister and niece enjoyed the private bedrooms and shared bath upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and appliance needed, we were able to cook some delicious meals, while watching the amazing sunsets. The location is secluded but easily accessible to everything (shopping, restaurants, etc). The trails at the Audubon Center (across the road) are a nice walk and take you through the woods and down to a sandy beach. We enjoyed our stay and I would love to come back here on our next visit.

Be aware that nowhere in the VRBO listing on does it mention that you will be required to bring your own sheets and towels or pay to rent them. This is supposedly a MA law for COVID (which is silly because it's woefully outdated and you are still sleeping on pillows, other bedding that is not washed). I was not made aware of this when I initially rented. Be sure to confirm this before you pay your first payment. Also be aware that there are no curtains in the king bedroom. There is a lovely view from the windows, but at 515am every morning the sun came up and sleep was over. That's just too early for vacation! The other bedrooms have curtains. There could easily be shades or curtains that can be pulled fully out of the way to make the room more comfortable. The upside is that the a/c in that room is the best in the house. The kitchen had everything necessary for our stay, including everything for lobster eating. There is an extra refrigerator in the basement which was really handy since the one in the kitchen is a bit small for the house. There were all sorts of beach chairs, an umbrella or two, a wagon for the beach. Bug spray was provided/left by former guests. We primarily went to Mayflower beach since we had smaller kids in the group. Get there by 9am to get a spot! Order sandwiches from the Dennis Public Market - they were the best. We ordered lobsters from Peterson's Fish Market. We went to the Drive-In in Wellfleet which was fun. Chatham is charming and the Chatham Squire had the best lobster bisque of the week - we tried many. The home is lovely!

We spent a few days on the Cape for a service at the National Cemetery. The location is central to everything we needed with plenty of restaurants and other nearby services. Just a few steps away is the beautiful Long Pasture Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary with access to the beach.
The home is comfortable and inviting and well appointed. The view from the dinning area, bedrooms and outside deck is beautiful.
In all it was an excellent stay and would visit again.

This house is amazing. The pictures show exactly what you will expect in the house. The owners of the house were easily reachable which I really appreciate. The views off of the marsh early in the morning and late at night are literally breathtaking and are still gorgeous all day. The street that this house is on is so quiet and peaceful. There was more than enough to do within a short drive of the house, not to mention the fabulous restaurants close by! One thing to note, the King bedroom downstairs does not have blinds, which was fine for us having a toddler that wakes up early in the morning regardless, but something to note. We're already planning our next stay!

This was an excellent cottage. It was quiet and close to lots of shops and restaurants. The views out the back over the marsh were great. Overall it was clean and comfortable. Craig was very communicative and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed how private and quiet this property was. We spent a week here with our three-year-old son who, on the morning of day three said, "did you know we have good days here?" which could not have been more accurate. The beach within walking distance was a delight, which we tended to catch at low tide which meant lots of exploration of clams, oysters, and snails. Arrival and departure were easy. Craig and Sharon were easy to communicate with and responsive. The house was in a great location with everything you could need within a 5 - 20 minute drive. The best part was Craig and Sharon's recommendations of restaurants, activities, and sights to see. We took full advantage of them and were never disappointed! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
