Tolle und bequeme Betten, also super geschlafen!

Quiet location
Manager / owner not very welcoming . Only a distant good morning, didn’t check everything ok.
Booked hotel as sauna and relaxation area. When I arrived asked about using I was told not available to use , closed for repair. When I said this was a reason I chose the hotel I was told I could use but would have to shower in my room afterwards. The sauna was not at temperature, no attempt to remedy. Could have had sauna ready for constant, immediate use with note that showers not working instead of closing down. Paid for facilities not available.
Bedroom balcony in need of treatment.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room or available during the day.

Good hotel. Overall good experience, just like most of the hotels I stayed around the world.
Toilet was not clean
I can hear the hallway
People in reception was not always there (I had to wait for check in/checkout).

This was our second stay and it is perfect on our way further north. As dog owners we have the forest walks on our door step. Weather permitting eating outdoors is lovely and staff is very friendly.
Our only wish is that the light switches were marked. It took some time to identify it was a main switch for the bedroom at the entrance. Difficult in the middle of the night when it is dark and we could not turn on the lights.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was great with a good selection of fresh produce. The dining area and bar were very well presented, with a lovely feel/atmosphere.
The room was a little dated, particularly the bathroom. It looked tired and in need of renovation. Shower functioned well and it did the job, it just didn't match the high quality of the rest of the hotel.

The hotel itself was very pleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are great, very good space and they were nicely decorated. Overall it was a very delightful experience. Looking forward coming back again!

Excellent hotel close to the woods. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Nice walks for the dog on our doorstep.
Dinner and breakfast were very good. Could not have been any better.
The broadband did not work, but you need some time off sometimes.

The room was big. The reception and restaurant was clean and ok. The staff was pretty friendly. The parking lot was okey and we could fit in it nicely.
The hotel was next to a big field that was full of cars. There was a lot of noise and the view from the window wasn’t pleasing. The breakfast was way too expensive. I wouldn’t pay anything for that small breakfast and everything had run out by the time we got there. The hotel seemed under staffed because the man who was working there had to be at the kitchen to make food and also check people out of the hotel. Interior design was quite weird: they had used many types of themes in the hotel. There was golden flamingos and feathers from the 30’s, buddhas and moose or deer things. It wasn’t very pleasing to us atleast.
They hadn’t fully renovated the bathroom. Otherwise the room was pretty modern but the bathroom was straight out of 70’s (green). They hadn’t fixed a broken tile from the bath. They had just put red tape over it. It looked horrible. There was horrible amounts of dust under the bed and there was also a piece of wood missing from the floor. Everyone could see us through the window from the field and the parking lot. We felt like we were in an aquarium. There was a balcony but the view was bad.

We stayed for one night at the Waldhotel. Staff was very friendly. Our room was of good size, spotlessly clean and with a comfortable bed. The hotel offeres a rich and tasty breakfast buffet. The property is located a little outside of town in the forest with a good access. We walked to the town center which was an easy stroll of 15 minutes.
No dinner option was available at the hotel due to a private event taking place and the kitchen did have no additional capacity. So, we went to town for dinner. Car parking for hotel guests should be free of charge.

The breakfast buffet was extremely good, fresh bread, juice but also bacon and scrambled eggs. All cleanly laid out.
A little bit difficult to find.
3.0
The breakfast and diner. That was fine.
Het rooms were very small. The smell was not nice and we had to open the windows.
The bathroom was outdated and there was a urine smell. The toilet was leaking and there was a black line of dirt or mold in the toilet. The shower had mold everywhere. The bad one was between the window en the shower. Also the bathroom floor was already wet when we arrived. After showering the floor was more wet!
The rooms where so noisy that we heard everyone that was going to the rooms. You heared walking over the floors. And baby cry or people talk.
The room was 129 euro per night. That is to expensive for a outdated room and bathroom! I think that you pay for the location (forest).
Personel did not ask how our stay was. And did not ask any questions when we ask to skip the second night.
