Lindau Insel ist immer eine Reise wert. Das Hotel liegt ideal, See und Bushaltestelle liegen sehr na

Frühstück war gut, gute Auswahl. Semmeln waren total super! Badezimmer sehr schön! Schön wäre evtl. Wasserkocher am Zimmer damit man auch tagsüber oder Abend mal Tee oder Kaffe machen kann.

Die Lage ist wirklich unschlagbar, das Frühstück war lecker. Nicht all zu viel Auswahl aber wirklich total in Ordnung.

Wir haben ein Dreibettzimmer mit Doppelbett und Einzelbett gebucht, bekommen haben wir allerdings nur ein Zweibettzimmer (zwei einzelne Betten) von denen nur eins bezogen war. Da es bereits Abends war als wir ankamen, haben wir niemanden mehr erreicht für eine zweite Bettdecke ...

Der Aufenthalt war ganz gut.

Das Zimmer war völlig in Ordnung.Die Lage vom Hotel sehr gut.Nicht weit vom Bahnhof...Nicht weit zur Altstadt.Und auch nicht weit nach Lindau Reutin.Das Zimmer war auch schön sauber.

Das Frühstück.War aber bei diesem Preis in Ordnung,Die Leute an der Rezeption waren ein bischen Chaotisch.

The WORST Stay I have ever had.

The location was OK - a short walk to the old town and the waterfront. The local market just next door.

The property was junky, with cleaning supplies, kitchen stuff, everything left out. The “family-run business” was a couple in which the man was often yelling at the woman. She did check-in and often seemed confused. They were supposed to offer me the Bodensee Activity Card as I was staying there 3+ nights and they collected hotel tax for it. When I asked for it they seemed very frustrated and it took them over 1/2 hour to produce it. My room was on the 2nd floor and was sparse and tiny, which I can put up with. The bathroom was fine though room cleanliness was questionable at best. I found papers and trash from the previous guests. I have budget travelled a lot and have stayed in hostels, monasteries, hotels etc and am pretty forgiving but these people had no concept of presenting their accommodation in a pleasing manner. Piles of towels were in the hall together with mops, cleaning products and trash - ALL the time. After a sleepless night on a very soft bed, I wanted to check out but committed to staying to try to find the good. I had some work I needed to do and since my room was so small I thought I would sit in the dining area where breakfast was served. The He was in there and made it clear that, even though there were 10 tables, I was not welcome to be in there. Breakfast was adequate though I had to ask for food to be replenished, the plates were not clean and the coffee not hot. I applaud this couple for trying to run a business, but they have failed on so many levels. I understand that, generally speaking, Germans are not known for their customer service but this couple was beyond the norm. On my final day, after 4 days of greeting them when I came and went, and never asking for my room to be serviced, I asked if I could delay my checkout by 30 minutes as I was in the middle of booking my airline flights. He yelled and said check out time was 10:00 and I had to get out to make way for new people!

A very negative experience

(1) none

(1) the male owner was very rude to us. the female owner was helpful. (2) according to the info on Booking.com, they would support guests in car parking if reservation is sent during booking. We did, but the owner refused to help us. So it costed us a lot of time and money. (3) rooms are okay, but spiders and insects were found. (4) A lot of noise: It makes a lot of noise when people walk the stair and in the rooms and the hotel is next to a big road thus a lot of noise in early morning. (5) breakfast was worse than average.

I do understand that it is a historic building and you cannot make determinate changes. Nevertheless, the cleanliness, the way the breakfast was organized, the Hygiene, all that is extreme low. Positive for us, was that they allow Pets

Simple hotel for travellers, with the price you pay the vicinity to the lake.

Keys were available outside the front door as promised.

Bathroom was not heated up (although I later found a switch with "heating" handwritten on it. Breakfast was very simple, buffet. Room doors have to be closed manually with the key, if you forget this they are open to everyone.

good price/value, great breakfast

very clean, park garage (not expensive) right across the road, really great breakfast! cute little old town for a night stroll. was perfect for a one night stop in our road trip. price - value we were very happy check in also went easy - key box so no problems

Easy access to Lindau old town. Very good covered, secure parking in the public car park just over the road and only €10.30 for overnight Our parking was from 17.00 until 08.45.

This is the worst ever hôtel experience in my 62-year-old life. We found close door 🚪 at 21h30. Keybox code was wrong, and hôtel owners refused to respond to phone calls. We had to find another hotel. Hôtel owners were violent and brutal the following day when we asked full refund of €120 which they never paid back. Absolutely avoid this nightmarish dive.....!!! Seriously. Police laughed at us. Booking.com was useless 😪
