Nice hotel but open to public, beware many many tourists

Nice to visit for a 1-2 day trip to Abu Dhabi.

No bins. Too much tourists at the entrance of the hotel. Two times we’ve been told that the restaurant was full, when there were free tables, even though we were guests at the hotel. But luckily tge managed saw this and came to apologize and accomodate us. When running a gotel open also to the public, you must distguisg between guests and rest. Really bad expirience with this, would not come back because we were treated poorly.

Machtig ontspannend.

Het is onmogelijk om er iets uit te pikken. Het was top over de ganse lijn. Echt hetgeen je van een tophotel mag verwachten. Ontbijt top, locatie top, zwembadbar top, kamers top. Wel heel groot dus je moet graag wandelen...

Het was heel warm, maar dat ligt aan de locatie en de periode in het jaar. TOtaal niet aan het hotel zelf.

The facilities, the grandness of the property, the food and the cleanliness.

Some staff came off as cold and un welcoming and had mean looks on their faces (frowning).

Потрясающий пляж , в ресторанах делают русские кальяны , красивые виды

Отношение персонала на ресепшен, отсутствие принадлежностей для пляжа в номере ( сумка, тапочки ), в отличие от сети Мандарин по миру , в этом был фен Бренда Valera ( но это не критично )

a wonderful place to stay. Still re-emerging from the covid closure

one of the most stunning and Appleby hotel properties in the world

the cigar room is still closed. Was an outstanding place to spend time and the service was unmatched. The menu offering and the service needs sharpening up at the pool bars.

Was a truly Special place to stay

The rooms were very clean and in a traditional style which I liked. Beach was perfect and the sea was amazing. Was able to go Paddle Boarding as water sports were available.

After staying at several Hotels in the Middle East I was surprised there wasn’t extra special touches like Sunglasses cleaned round the pool and ice lollies. Only one day we received a little canapé.

Vacanza meravigliosa

Hotel stupendo, è la seconda volta che ci vado ed è sempre una certezza, ho preso una camera club e siamo stati coccolati tantissimo. Spiaggia grandissima , pus una stupenda, struttura magnifica. Un po’ distante dal centro, ma con i taxi che costano pochissimo ti muovi tranquillamente.

A memorable journey

I loved everything about the hotel and certain staff who attended to us made everything memorable. Friendly and very helpful staff from the moment I landed to check out. Shout out to the staff who made my stay a memorable one - Joseph (who greeted me upon my arrival with a huge genuine smile), Myria who helped with my check in and showed me to my room even a short history about the hotel, Sechin and Palel the two men who took turns guarding the entrance of the wing I stayed in with my boss. They both greeted us in the morning with smiles on their faces and small geninue greetings and chats when we head out and come back in. To the staff who cleaned our room everyday, thank you so much. Thank you all for your excellent service. Stayed for 7 nights and had a marvelous time there.

I didn't find any fault at all.

hotel - not worth to be rated as 7 star hotel

dedicated and friendly staff at check in. Delicious breakfast . adult only pool area

very noisy room neighbor , drunken, took long time at night to change the room . Overbooking of restaurant , couldn’t eat dinner

Great location, good facilities, shame about the half board dinner options though

Great location, good facilties for families, decent sized rooms, staff mostly kind and helpful, pools with slides and lazy river, beach with kayaking, paddling, water obstacle course was much enjoyed by the kids, good breakfast and nice poolside and beach facilities.

The prepaid half board dinner was restricted to only one restaurant Vendome, and selection and quality was very poor to say the least...only two main dishes thats it...only water was included, not even juices or soft drinks. Half board is not value for money. Gave feedback to restaurant reception on day 2, response was very defensive and fell on deaf ears...very disappointing...

Location was good and the staff were helpful

The Indian restaurant food was medium in quality and standard, the hotel on site facilities are over priced and the rooms are in need of renovation and upgrades. The inside of the hotel was full of day trip tourists

Mandarin Oriental ist nicht so gut wie Kempinski, hat nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

Outdoor war alles TOP, Pool Bereich, Kamelreiten war inkludiert so oft man wollte, schwimmen im arabischen Golf war TOP, toller Ausblick in jede Richtung, der Strand. Handtücher, kaltes Wasser so viel man wollte.

Abendessen war sehr enttäuschend. Zudem war es eiskalt in den hohen Räumen. Ohne Pullover friert man. Damen, die leicht bekleidet waren z.B. im Sommerkleid bekamen eine dünne Decke. Das Essen war gut, wenn man jetzt zu Mittag einmal großen Hunger hat und schnell sehr viel auf einmal essen möchte D.h. Quantität vor Qualität. Riesenportionen aber keine Top Qualität wie ich von anderen 5 Sterne Hotels gewohnt bin. Frühstück und Abendessen im Conrad Etihad Tower Hotel war um einiges besser und alles auch schöner, besseres Service, freundlicheres Personal etc. Frühstücksbuffet war auch nicht annähernd so gut wie in einem Kempinski; das Flair auch nicht.

ok stay not good value

property is beautiful and clean

visited this hotel many times and always loved everything about it , this is first time as a mandarin hotel and the hotel standards have lowered a lot , the service is not as it was , we had to pay for the kids club 40 dirhams an hour for four children becomes expensive !! little disappointing and would properly not return anymore as not worth the price anymore

O hotel é simplesmente MARAVILHOSO!

Do teste PCR que nos induziram a fazer, dizendo que todos os restaurantes e também a Mesquita exigiriam o teste, para entrada. Fizemos os tais testes, gastamos em torno de 130 dolares (porque nos induziram a fazer expresso - 4 horas pra sair o resultado) e no final, nenhum estabelecimento solicitou, sequer a Mesquita que é tão rigorosa exigiu o teste. Me senti enganada. Ao falar com a recepção, fomos informados que os estabelecimentos que erraram em não nos pedir.

Not stayed here since it became a Mandarin hotel. Can’t fault it to be honest, but it it’s missing something since it changed.

Dream stay

It was amazing our stay, literally is a palace, the room is spacious, we have a beautiful view, the food is delicious, especially the Lebanese restaurant. This was our first time at a Mandarin hotels and we definitely loved the service and attention.

It is different from my expectations before moving in.

1.The Vendome and Broadway restaurant provide very good food and service.2.The camel riding and taking photos with the eagle.

The guest relations should be improved. Sending messages for certain inquiry through booking, got a nonsense feedback which is nothing about my concerns. Then sending a email again, no reply at all.

Everything at this hotel was exceptional. If you are thinking of staying here, just book your stay! Look no where else because this is the absolute best you’ll get in Abu Dhabi. Everything really does go beyond your expectations. The staff are warm and welcoming and go out of their way to serve you. Complimentary tea and dates upon arrival. You get escorted to your room by the reception staff. We got a beautiful jar of pure honey upon check out too! There is everything in this hotel, you don’t even need to step out. We had buffet at vendome and it was purely divine. We were celebrating our honeymoon and my husbands birthday for which we got complimentary chocolate cake in our room with bouquet of roses, chocolate dipped strawberries and a box of chocolate covered dates. The staff at vendome gave us the most delicious slice of chocolate cake as well for my husbands birthday and the chefs came out to check on us too which was so sweet. There are free camel rides and paddle boarding and kayaking too. This hotel is truly a gem. Can’t wait to go again!!
