About this house rental

Surround yourself with nature. Our luxury house is located in private Emerald Lakes community complete with pools, lakes and beaches. Our home is beautifully decorated with a rustic theme to truly make it your home away from home. There is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, reverse osmosis water filtration system and brand new appliances. A beautiful dining room with potbelly stove, living room with propane fireplace awaits you. There are four bedrooms, one with a king bed, two bedrooms with queen beds, a 'kid's' bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds (4 beds) and a study with a bunk bed with a full and twin bed.. Three full baths with tub and showers. In the newly renovated basement, there is a washer and dryer, pool table, ping pong, and foozball tables. The basement has a large TV room with a DVD player and cable TV. Two wrap around porches offering beautiful panoramic views surround the one and half acre peninsula property.

Emerald Lakes will permit only 10 people to rent our house at a time

If you enjoy boating, our house is the place! There are 6 kayaks, a paddleboat, a paddleboard and a canoe for your use in the 90 acre lake. Fish off the canoe or off the two docks (weather permitting)

Emerald Lakes is a convenient and centrally located community for your vacation. We are located about an 1 1/2 from both Philadelphia and New York City. We are located a few miles from Camelback skiing, Camelbeach waterpark, Kalahari waterpark, Crossing Premium Outlets, Mt. Airy Casino, Pocono Raceway, and Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Area. State Parks, hiking trails, dining and shopping are close by.

* The indoor pool is year round and outdoor pool is open (memorial-labor day). Hours vary.

Emerald Lakes offers an indoor and outdoor pool, beaches, community clubhouse, sauna, basketball and tennis courts, playground, and ice skating pond. In our lake, there is swimming, kayaking, fishing and paddle boating.

You can find more information on our community at www.elainc.org. Please note that the rules and regulations apply to all that stay at our home.

Please NO parties of any type or high school/college groups. We ask that a few members of your party are 25 and older. At least one person should be 30 years old.

Please note that that the road leading to our house and our driveway are stone roads.

** Your entire cleaning fee could be returned to you if the used laundry is washed and the house is found presentable by the cleaners. The entire house is still meticulously cleaned by our cleaning crew.

We had a 5-night family get-together for six of us, all active seniors, age 60+. The house was perfect for what we needed - a lovely property on the lake, neat and clean, with everything we needed. The location is within reasonable driving distance of parks and scenic hiking trails in the Poconos for daytime activities. The owner was very responsive to any questions and requests that we had.

This was one of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed at yet. Every window had a magnificent view of the lake. My family enjoyed the game room and kayaks, fire pit…. I could keep going. The house is nice situated. You could see the lake from all the windows which was very relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately the weather was very bad rained majority of the time, but we still had fun with all the games in the basement and the movies. We enjoyed a drink in the leaving room around the fireplace and overall was a very relaxing weekend.

This place is the perfect getaway for the family. We stayed there with 8 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room. Being on our own lake peninsula gave you all the privacy you needed. There were views of the water in all directions. Close to ski resorts and mount pocono. It’s a shame it was so cold, bc we could take the paddle boats out. We will definitely be coming back.

I went to the house with three other couples to enjoy a weekend away in the mountains. The house did not disappoint! The property manager was amazing, very easy to communicate with, and answered any and all questions in a timely manner. The rooms were huge, clean and the view of the lake from each bedroom was amazing. Having the finished basement with a TV, fooseball, pool table and ping pong table was a godsend for our rainy day. The liquor stores, grocery stores, restaurants and ski mountain were minutes away. We will definitely be staying here again.

This house was absolutely incredible. Large enough for 3 families! We all enjoyed the games in the basement! The house is literally right on the lake and that was amazing, paddle boats and kayaks for your use, it was beautiful! Deer every morning! The house is in a great location to restaurants and supermarkets. 15 minutes to the casino if you are into that. We did a hike near camelback which was amazing, such great views. The house literally feels like home and was very clean! For those of you that believe in it, this house has good vibes. We felt comfortable our entire stay! Will 100% be looking to book this house again soon!

We had an awesome time at this house. It's a beautiful home on the pond (surrounded by water on 3 sides). We enjoyed kayaking in the afternoon. It was so peaceful and quiet. We had a great time on the property the entire time we were there. The backyard and lake are just as stunning as in the photos. We never ran out of good times, between the kayaks, fire pit, ping pong & pool tables there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied. We were a group of 10 and all slept comfortably every night. This place was 10/10 for large groups looking for a private lake retreat.
