I had a pleasant stay at the Marriott. While the location is a bit far from Syntagma Square, the hotel provides a weekday shuttle service that runs hourly until 5:00 PM, making it easy to reach the square. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to Piraeus and the beaches, with a hop-on-hop-off bus available right in front of the hotel. Public transportation, primarily buses, also offers easy access to various destinations.
The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options.
If you want to be in the center of Athens, this is not the place for you.

śniadanie zróżnicowne do wyboru bez zastrzeżeń.
Wentylacja łazienek no i ich wielkość mogłaby byc nieco większa.
W pobliżu trochę tawern i kafejek ale większość była w sierpniu zamknięta ( ferie)
Brak parkingu hotelowego- chociaż nie było problemu z darmowym zaparkowaniem pojazdu na sąsiednich uliczkach

Very good breakfast quality very good
I was a delayed passenger with Aegean - and was pleasantly surprised. My only criticism was some of the staff were not customer service focused and willing to assist. These were team leaders at check in. The trainees were much more helpful.

Communication with hotel reception was stressful. I had to complain to management who then took action and resolved issue.
In future, management need to review their practices.

Athens Marriott Hotel is a nice clean property. The grounds are very nice with many sitting areas. Our group was welcomed and our stay included breakfast, a nice touch in Europe.

Tiny rooms! Claustrofobical. Airconditioning not working. No swimming pool facilities. Bad food. Very expensive upscale hotel with poor quality on a remote location

The greek yoghurt at breakfast.
Helpful concierge and housekeeping staff.
I'm familiar with the Marriott brand, having stayed at a number of their locations eg Singapore, Bangkok, etc. This one is not representative of the brand's 5* excellence. The room: towels were grey and frayed. The bathrobes didnt look clean at all, again, greyish. The blue flannels were brownish through over use. My request for non-feather pillow and duvet was obliged. But they only provide one pillow each side and the duvet was thin. I had to wear socks in bed! Breakfast: merely a continental with some unappetising hot dishes. I had croissants which were small and hard. Fruits - not a selection to be proud of, some chopped up apple, peeled grapefruit and orange and tinned peaches. Coffee .... really just flavoured water. The greek yoghurt : Excellent! For 185 Euros a night I expected 5* value.

i like the friendliness of the staff, everyone was extremely nice and went out of their way to help me and it made me feel so welcome also great breakfast, dinner and room services
everybody is super super nice
a little thing i did not like was the some of the stuff in my room for example the toilet flush is stuck and keeps making noises and dropping water, wenn i turn on the heat the air blow in the drapes and they keep making these metal noises that makes it impossible to sleep, my window doesn’t close the handle is broken but i wasn’t that cold with the heat on you don’t notice it so maybe just some retouches because its a 5 stars hotel
