Das Hotel hat eine phantastische Lage, unser Zimmer lag allerdings unter dem Dach und war sehr klein und leider auch sehr warm. Aber der Hotelbau und der Blick auf den Koldingfjord sind grandios. Der Garten und die Badestelle am Steg sind für einen Aufenthalt bei gutem Wetter sehr zu empfehlen. Der Frühstücksraum bzw. Das Restaurant hatte an diesem warmen Augustwochenende auch den Außenbereich geöffnet — auch von hier hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Fjord. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück war aus meiner Sicht in Ordnung, bot aber keinerlei Abwechslung, es gab jeden Morgen exakt die gleiche Auswahl an Obst, Gemüse, Aufschnitt etc.

Es gibt einen eigenen Konferenzbetrieb und am Wochenende auch private Feiern, die bis spät in die Nacht andauern und in unserem Fall sehr laut und störend waren. Sehr positiv ist allerdings, dass uns das Hotel nach Beschwerde die letzte Nacht zurück erstattet hat.

beautiful property, we were lucky to book during a private event and watched some fireworks. breakfast was good with variety

uncomfortable and very big pillows. while booking you don’t realize there is another building on top and they place you there, so you most probably won’t stay in the beautiful building which I paid just for staying there.. but wasn’t possible. it should be clear while booking

Fantastic location and thedifferentbuildings of the hotel.

We found the dinner at the restaurant a little expensive but guess it's the prices in Denmark for an aperitif, three courses with two glasses of wine. But of course great with local products. The staff ok but did not get out of their way to manage a table outside. We had to ask if we could move when people left a table outside,a huge difference on a nice summer evening to sit outside than in kind of corner inside that made jt all perfect.

Wedding was there so we were not allowed to be on either terrace. Dinner not possible because wedding. Pool and gym was closed (sealed off). Big skylight in ceiling made room bright 4am.

The room booked and paid for was supposed to be 25m2… I think they meant 25 square foot as the room was tiny and nowhere near 25m2

relax at thé fjord

location is super. specialy the excutive room in the side building with large windows and vieuw on thé fjord between thé trees.., Good location to exploire all of Jutland.

thé restaurant menu was quite dissapointing and thé restaurant itself lacks style. it doesn’t match with the rest of the hotel and is basicly oriented on large business groupes wich make you feel a bit lost as leisure holiday cliënt. So, staying yes, may be one dinner, but if you booked more days in thé hotel, chose an other restaurant somewhere else.

Beautiful location

The hotel is located at the very beautiful Kolding Fjord. It is right next to the water edge and excellent for a great walk and zipping a drink on the terrace.

The reception staff were really slow and made no effort to tell us anything about our room or even the hotel. Very strange. And though the breakfast was included it was pretty disappointing, in Denmark i expect good fresh high quality rye bread and ordinary bread, both had been frozen, terrible. Despite this we did enjoy our stay;”, they just need to work a bit more on their service.

We are very pleased with the stay, the hotel is very charming, located in a beautiful place, on the outskirts of the city. In the vicinity of trees and the fjord.

One small thing is the bikes, these are quite damaged, the one on which I was riding had a damaged saddle and the tire was bald.

Nice hotel located in beautiful surroundings; great for people travelling through Scandinavia by car

- Beautiful, peacful surroundings - we regret that our stay was short and we didn't really have a chance to walk around for longer; the buildings from the outside also look very nice - Great location for people travelling from/to Scandinavia by car (Kolding is close to the main road connecting Germany and Copenhagen) as well as for people visiting Billund (we stopped in Koldingfjord while coming back from a holiday in Scandinavia to Poland and next morning we were able to reach LEGO House in about 40 minutes) - Very friendly staff - Quick check-in and check-out - Good breakfast; it's nice that there are kettles with coffee on the tables

- The room itself looked quite outdated - that's the main reason of a slighly lower overall rating - In the bathroom all cosmetics were in small bottles (incl. hand soap) - of course it's not uncommon in hotels, but we still prefer more eco-friendly solutions (e.g. large refilled dispensers) - If I remember correctly, the TV didn't have any streaming function, but fortunately our own Chromecast worked well using the hotel Wi-Fi (usually internet networks in hotels require logging in, which is not supported by Chromecast; in this hotel it was not a case - it worked without problems)

Majestic hotel on a beautiful location. Our room was okay. But it was a bit of a disappointment that the room was in a secondary building instead of the main building where you have a great view of the water. And for some reason the electronic key had to be reprogrammed three times - no apology from the receptionist.
