Great stay!

Everything! Exceptional breakfast buffet and great facilities. They have big and very clean rooms. Accommodating staff and a lot of activities to do. Highly recommended but hopefully they do offer more discounts since it is a bit expensive afterall.

We stayed beside a facility room so the noise was a bit distracting especially at night/early morning but overal we were still able to relax and enjoy our stay.

This resort is huge. There are multiple restaurants & food options, 2 large pools with lifeguards, a large & well equipped gym to keep fit while on holidays, jungle gym room for younger children, a huge games arcade for the older kids, a separate wellness & spa facility, mini golf, archery, a par3 golf course, a large sandy beach area with loads of fish to see while snorkelling & swimming, jet ski hire & lots of other activities available for both young & old. The buffet breakfasts & dinners are next level! You won't go hungry here. Rooms are clean. Staff are super friendly & helpful. The grounds throughout the resort are beautiful & well maintained. Nightly live music was a real treat.

It didn't affect our stay, or put me off re-booking but perhaps it's time to upgrade the hallway carpet in the Main Wing. It's looking a bit worn out & dated.

Pricey but will always come back.

Shangrila Mactan is always the place to be. Everything is wonderful. Staff are all nice we were greeted with welcome drinks. The room has a lot of amenities and the bed is amazingly firm as always. The pools and beach access are great. The breakfast buffet could be a warzone but it is a wide variety. Will always come back here.

1. Our rates was $300 per night including taxes. We reserved Ocean View rooms but we got rooms with no good ocean view. 2. We dont like how I asked for earlier check-in but we were replied that rooms arent ready. So we got in at 4pm. 3. Late check out of 1pm isnt allowed. So not really happy with paying $300 a night for less than 24 hrs stay. Tsk tsk. 4. The room has an old musty smell. They should correct this. 5. The restaurants are all full and the earliest time to eat with an available table is 8:30pm. So we had to walk outside to eat at outside restaurants which turned out great because there was a cute French Restaurant and we loved it.

Rj is one of the waiter in the buffet. He exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond on his service, he was very polite and always smiling, very friendly person, it made our stay more enjoyable because of him. But everybody else was very professional and very helpful. I will definitely go back with the family. Thank you

One thing that I didn’t like, is there is nothing outside the hotel. Like little market and shop. But that could just be me.

Loved our stay here, it’s a great stop off on the way to other spots in the Philippines.

We had a great 2 night stay here on our way to the islands. The staff are incredible. The hotel facilitates are excellent. The rooms in the ocean wing seem a little dated, and could use some modernisation, that said they have been very well maintained and we’re very clean. We will return here in a couple of weeks.

The child in us wanted to use the water slide, but the sign said it was for kids only. 🙁

Not value for money. Restrooms should be renovated. Housekeeping should do better cleaning.

The staff are friendly and there is lots of different activities.

Cleanliness is not good. The room has stains on the walls, towels are old and there is lots of dust and dirt in the spotlights in the room. I complained about this and they said they unfortunately often receive feedback on the lack of cleanliness. They didn’t serve service water at the restaurants.

worth all your penny…a must place to stay if you go Cebu coz ull never know what your missing until u stayed in this pla

the place itself is a City! 4days 3nights trip - we didnt get out of the hotel at all as there are just so much things that can be done at the hotel itself. from the beach, to the pool, to the exclusive lounge to the entertainment area —— you just have it all inside the hotel. also, pls avail the dinner buffet at least once on your stay as it is worth it…. the staff are ALL polite and friendly. the areas are clean and accessible. they just simply have it all—- just too much of good things at this place sooooo Boracay Shangri-La wait for us!!!!

Superb

The beach was great with a lot of fish even pretty close to the beach. At just a little over a meter deep right behind the big rock in front of Breeze, I think I saw about 10 kinds of fish in less than 10 minutes. The sand was good too, not too coarse, maybe not powder soft like flour but fine enough for kids to play with and walk pleasantly barefoot. My kids (11 and less mature and 5) loved the pools. Teens/tweens and above might not have as much fun if they prefer waterparks as the slides are for younger kids. King bed is huge. Two double? sized beds are put together with one mattress covering. A complimentary extra bed was also available but we didn’t need it. The greenery/landscape was beautiful. All the hotel staff were great. Service was excellent.

There’s not a lot of choices when it comes to food if you want to eat indoors away from the heat. There are only two indoor restaurants with air-conditioning; the buffet and a chinese restaurant, which was a problem for us when we were not in swimwear playing in the pools/beach. The air conditioner in our room gave off a moldy smell. I’m sure they would have switched us to another room if I had asked but I was already exhausted from two grouchy kids by the time we got our room keys which brings me to the next subject.
