The facilities were great. Even though the pool was a little too cold for my taste, it was great for lounging. The breakfast buffet was decent and the bar made ridiculously cheap drinks.
I could have gone my whole life without learning that ants like period blood...but honestly, bugs are just the price you pay for nice weather.

Everything was great
The only drawback is that when you pull the curtains tightly in the room, it's still light in the morning.

Facilities are awesome. And the staff is very friendly specially Mr Chen (Energy). The rooms are beautiful clean and with good view of the ocean. I planed to stay only 5 days and finally stay for 2 weeks. Really great resort, I have stayed in other resorts in sanya and this is maybe the best one.
If you are visiting sanya bay beach in september and october, beware that there is A LOT of fleas or mosquitos (midges) that will totally bite your legs. So please bring a spray with you and antistaminic to avoid allergy on your skin.

The property location was great, right across the road from the beach with direct access via their own underpass. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable.
The BBQ & Hotpot buffet was great but it was exactly the same stuff every day, so we got tired of it.
The hotel was unwilling to accommodate our dietary requirements. They refused to prepare simple dishes for us to eat. We even asked if they could just prepare some of the dishes on their menu and just remove the meat from the dish, but they refused. As a 5 star hotel the very least they should do is cater to guests dietary requirements. We were not being unreasonable, we were also more than happy to pay for the dishes.
We had to move from our first room because our shower was broken and leaked and the bath also leaked.

The bbq dinner.
The hotel is outdated and not well manteined, the furniture in the room was dirty.
The restaurant options are not good at all, the breakfast 95% Chinese stuff. The bbq dinner is ok, but apart from that.... Better to find something else around...
I wouldn't called a "Resort" is just a 3/4 stars old hotel.
The staff barely speak english but was friendly and helpful.
The pool area need to be fixed as some tails were loose or missed and for sure you dont want to ruin your holidays by ended at the hospital with some stitches at your feet.

The resort did exceed my expectations. It was a good value for money for sure!
Resort: It’s a massive and very beautiful resort. The area it occupies is really big. The idea of tunnel to the beach is quite smart. Very beautiful vegetation around. Trees, flowers. Colors of vacation! Loved it!
Disclaimer for animal lovers: the birds at the pond are taken care of and there is a man who feeds them and cares for them every morning. I rushed to ask as one of the swans was out of the fence not moving away from his partner for couple of days. Turns out he managed to escape and as you know swans don’t leave each other, he was there next to his partner separated by fence. I called the facility to complain that poor bird is heartbroken. The trouble was fixed. I asked if wings were cut short to make them disable to fly but no, birds are raised by the man who works there since their birth that’s why they don’t fly away. Not ideal but they are well fed and have a place to rest and are not in cages.
Swimming pools: huge pool in the middle is the functioning one and water in the pool is warm however it’s 1.4m depth. Still did enjoy it a lot!
There is one next to it with shallow water 1.2m suitable for kids. The fancy looking one to the right is not functioning. There is plenty of beds by the pool and you can store your belongings inside the lockers for free which are placed next to the pool area. Super convenient.
Dining area: big variety of food and enough options of western food, fruits and a salad for healthy eaters :)
Rooms: amazing view from balconies. I believe all balconies are facing garden and pool. Clean and nicely furnished rooms. Great shower with bathtub .
Beach: not much going on on the beach area. Distance to the beach is approximately 5min.
You can wash the sand of your feet at the entrance into resort which is supper convenient.
Surroundings: we did not leave the resort as it was super hot to move around.
Now the not so cool things about the stay:
Beds: they were too soft that it hurt our back. It’s not the hotel but I guess our sensitive bodies that could not handle soft mattress.
Swimming pool: if you are hoping to have quiet time I’d recommend you to get ear plugs as pool area is supper lively, specially when the shadow from buildings falls onto the pool area. Making it a perfect place to chill.
If kids were strictly allowed only in other pool leaving one dedicated for adults people would definitely enjoy more the pool time.
Not much around resort to do. But you already should know it when you check the map for location.
And that’s all from me😊

The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view. Staff willing to help no matter the language barrier. The breakfast is fine, not many western options but it’s ok. Great location, 5 minutes from the beach.
The swimming pool conditions. Cigarettes butts are common to find. Staff suggested it was because of the wind.

Location, accessible to airport and restaurants.
Facilities already outdated and breakfast is so so. In one occasion the housekeeping staff did not wash the used cups and did not remove the trash.

The breakfast was the same everyday. There was nothing for people like me who didnot eat pork and my friend who was vegetarian.
The lock broke and we were trapped inside the room gor 30 minutes

Breakfast had a great selection of western and Chinese food
The opening hours of restaurants could be wider.
7.0
the layout of the hotel, interior and exterior design. The great selections for breakfast , we really enjoyed it. We’re not breakfast type of people but we always had our breakfast there. The stunning view from our room’s balcony. The size of the room and the bed is really comfortable. The pools are wide and you have selections of pools in which you could enjoy swimming.. the SPA was worth it! the Caribbean bbq restaurant was fantastic! Wide range of food selection! They also have a bar by the lobby and they have a Korean restaurant too
The location, the beach isn’t that nice. There’s not really much to do around the resort . We had to drive to dadonghai to enjoy some beach vibe with sun beds and bars by the beach. Our check in wasn’t pleasant , the guy couldn’t find our booking without assistance from his manager. It took us awhile to be checked in, it was an hour to exact. He also seemed shocked when we paid in cash. I mean I know that it is uncommon now in China to pay in cash but he shouldn’t have asked us to pay by card when we already gave him cash.
