It was a bad experience. Our bill was messed up but has now been rectified. Bedrooms smelt of smoking.

Room was large, comfortable bed and bathroom very clean.
Pillow? One long pillow and then two square pillows. They didn't affect me, but I prefer a normal pillow.

Not a nice place to stay. Super dirty and smelly bathroom, floors were not clean either. Stoves were not working, so the place was freezing!! Beds were súper unconfortable.

Receptionist is able to speak English. Car park is very good. Bathroom and toilet separated.
The building need to repaint exterior to make it perfect.

Well located, good free private parking in the property and friendly welcome. We used as a base to visit Vernon and Giverny. That was a nice stay.

staff went above and beyond to help us after a car crash

Staff was great. When I came to hotel I was told I'm not in system and that they are fully booked. New girl at desk did what ever she could to overcome problem. She was very kind. Manager eventually came and sorted problem with booking and gave me spare room.
Somebody did a lousy job in hotel and left me without booked room. I don't know how is this possible but I booked a room months ago and still have been left without room on comencing day, which was stressful because I'm traveling on bycicle in Normandy and didn't had any time to check on other hotels after the problem. Luckilly manager gave me spare room.
As for room... I think it's overpriced, it's an old hotel, you can here people flushing in toilet from their rooms like they are just behind your head, no AC, wifi crushed couple of times

The shower's water pressure was amazing. I also slept great in bed, I didn't want to get up. The temperature of the room was very comfy. No noise reached my room.
Not being able to have luggage storage
My room smelled of cigarettes
No elevator
Very far out of the city center

The girl who greeted us was nice and friendly.
This has to be the worst hotel I ever had the misfortune to visit. The room was OK but the toilet was in a separate small closet with no sink and a toilet-paper dispenser which delivered one sheet at a time.
I resent getting thrown out of the lobby at 10 pm and told to go to sleep.
My wife goes to bed early and I go to bed late. As I write this I am sitting on a chair in a 2.5 x 3 foot washroom hoping that my battery doesn’t quit, there is no socket. I don’t know what kind of people they hire but this guy should not be working in a reception. Rent here if you wish but you have been warned!

Requested a PMR room which was confirmed by the hotel. The good news was the room was on the ground floor, however, unfortunately, the shower had a large step up to get into it, and this meant I couldn't shower.

The staff were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
There is little soundproofing (if any) the other guests and rooms were noisy and sleeping was difficult. The breakfast was at the level I had 20yrs ago. Nothing wrong with it but other ( nearby) places offer MUCH better. Sorry to say I will not be repeating the experience!

The location is relatively close to the Monet gardens.
The beds are quite small and bouncy. If you turn around, you wake up your partner. Probably a good choice if you stay in a room with one person.

It was a perfect location for us as we had cycled along the Seine. Nearby Lidl provided us with a picnic dinner also enjoyed by the Seine. Rooms clean (if a bit dated and basic) but with a hot en-suite shower. Was able to leave bikes parked outside at night due to property being gated after 10pm. Vernon is an interesting city and very near to Giverny (though make sure you book that in advance as they don’t allow people without online bookings into the gardens due to Covid).
Property charged us tourist tax which we had to pay on arrival. Not much about 80 cents each, but good to know as just about had the cash on us (we pay everything by card).
