EEN JUWEELTJE VAN EEN HOTEL

Om herfstvakantie te vieren bij familie in Frankrijk hebben we een nachtje gelogeerd in het sfeervolle hotel van Elodie, prachtig ingericht met oog voor detail, mooie kamer en een heerlijke warme badkamer! En het ontbijt bleek het beste van de vakantie te zijn, allerlei smaakvolle warme gerechten, uitgebreide keuze en ook veel biologische producten. Daar kunnen veel hotels van leren. Warm aanbevolen!

Small boutique hotel in a quiet area at walking distance of the Markt

the hotel consisted of 2 or 3 rooms in the garden and the remainder of the rooms was 1 or 2 flights up in the main buidling.. Ours (no 2) was at the end of the garden with a sizable private terras. The room was cosy but not very large. Our host Elodie, was the most hospitable hotel owner we have known, she went out of her way to make us feel at home

Amazing hotel and town.

Brilliant hotel and Elodie was an amazing host. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at any hotel. The town is also great with lots to see and great places to eat.

Great boutique hotel, wonderful hostess. And you'll love the breakfast!

Our welcome to this boutique hotel could not have been more genuine. The gracious owner and host, Elody, greeted my wife and I with a drink of our choice while she took five minutes to "fluff the pillows" in our room, which was then ready for us to enjoy. The room itself was in a very pleasant garden setting with all the cozy and warm features that one could expect from a four-star hotel. A large and very comfortable bed; bathroom with tub and shower; refrigerator; safe; telephone, of course; and lots and lots of quiet. By the way--in the refrigerator were free beverages including water, soda, beer, and wine. With free replenishment! And breakfast-- We have never been presented with such a marvelous display of breads, meats, exotics such as foie gras, fruits, egg dishes... it was all there. And delicious. The Main Street Hotel is boutique and is not inexpensive. But, it's worth the very fair price. We wish we could have stayed longer this trip. We will be back!

This hotel is exceptional. The décor is breath-taking. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The room was luxurious. The breakfast choices were absolutely outstanding. This hotel is a hidden gem. We were so pleased to have found it and will be back soon.

The room and bathroom were beautiful. Elodie had provided free drinks in the mini bar and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace. She recommended excellent restaurants for the evening, which was really useful. The choice at breakfast was exceptional with a stunning buffet selection and well-cooked hot options including the obligatory Belgian waffles with hot chocolate sauce. She even had an honesty bar for those needing a bedtime nightcap. Elodie's customer service was second to none. By the end of our stay, we felt like we had made a new friend. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking for a hotel in the Ypres area, the Main Street Hotel is a great choice.

Elodie is the hotel owner and was very friendly and efficient. The rooms were artfully decorated, comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We had a great visit at the Main Street Hotel. The location was a short walk from all the sights to see in Ypres.

We wish we could have stayed longer, we enjoyed everything about our stay at this small, friendly hotel. Elodie was a very generous and kind host.

Exceptional

This boutique hotel is a little piece of heaven on Earth. We were greeted by our very lovely host, shown our luxurious and uniquely decorated rooms, and offered a welcome drink. We didn’t want to leave the hotel but eventually left to explore a bit of the town. The location was just a few steps from the centre of Ypres/Ieper. The breakfast in the morning was most certainly the best breakfast we ever had. I wish we could have stayed longer.
