Recomendo o Hotel Serena. Será um dos primeiros hotéis entre as minhas opções de hospedagem.

A localização é excelente, a equipe atende prontamente qualquer solicitação. São cordiais e atenciosos. Os quartos são de tamanho que atendem a necessidade, limpos, organizados e tudo funciona bem. Recebemos um up-grade de acomodação, após um simples pedido que fizemos sobre o som que vinha da rua.

Excelente

Lugar y vistas impecables, todo el hotel hermoso, atención más que excelente! Desayuno muy rico. Habitación estándar muy amplia, linda y cómoda. Muy amables nos permitieron quedarnos un ratito más del horario de salida.

La piscina el viernes no estaba en funcionamiento, el sábado bien pero el domingo ya estaba muy sucia. Supusimos que porque fuimos en temporada baja... Es lo único que no nos gustó.

instalaciones en buen estado y limpieza

el cargo excesivo en tarjeta por contingencias y q te devuelven dentro de los 30 días!! Nunca me había pasado, en ningún otro Hotel de P del E. No ofrecen desayuno, cuando los de la misma categoría si lo hacen y ofrecen excelentes desayunos.

El desayuno muy basico, solo una opción de pan, muy pocas opciones de todo. Te cobran muy caro el estacionamiento, ya tendria que estar incluido en la estadía,

Staff great, but hotel lacking any atmosphere

Staff great and very helpful. Not much else going for it

Many things, but this could be a really nice hotel 1. Having changed USD into Uruguay currency on arrival at Montevideo this hotel only accepts USD in restaurant and for hotel payment . Why ? 2. Expensive overpriced restaurant which is probably why it was always empty 3. No tea / coffee making in room, no complimentary water on arrival. Disappointing 4. Breakfast was not well organized and not great either 5. Swimming pool painted black to hide the dirt and sand which is in it. Never saw it cleaned, I wouldn't swim in it 6. Staircase to first floor (steps also painted black !?! weird) needs better lighting and a handrail as a must for safety. This all sounds bad, as in essence this is a nice hotel but it could be so much better with some structure, management and customer service. It's all very well marketing yourself as an exclusive hotel, but then you have to step up to give that level of quality of service.

Fabuolous luxury location right on the beach

Amazing location right on Mansa Beach and a short drive from Punta del Este. Private pool service and sun chair service on the beach. Great and very service oriented staff!

The best hotel on our month long trip. We wished we had more nights at “our resort”.

Fabulous staff, facilities and meals.

Lighting in the staircase. Dark steps and poor lighting could be a challenge for some.

Stay on the beach-facing side to enjoy a relaxing stay

One side of the hotel faces the beach, can be quiet and offers spectacular views. The breakfast is sumptuous and the staff goes above and beyond. I was visiting a nearby hospital with a severe flu, missed the last bus and had to stay the night. I had the worst headache from being sick and the staff arranged for the pharmacy to deliver medicine and arranged a massage. I was so physically weak that I had to stay another night. The massage and the medicine really helped. The hotel staff also spoke with the staff at the hospital, to which I returned after the second night.

Unfortunately the other side of the hotel faces a major thoroughfare, where the traffic noises continue throughout the night. Despite being severely sick, the noises kept me from proper rest. The price difference between the two sides is quite large. There were also issues that you wouldn't expect with a hotel of this caliber, like the broken room safes, the doors that don't lock properly and phones not working. Because I was bedridden, it was important for me to rest and be able to contact staff without having to go to Reception, so that was quite an inconvenience until it was finally fixed.

Beautiful beach location

Beautifully located right on the beach, great terrasse with pool and also for the restaurant. Room was nice and spacious. Restaurant was very good, excellent food, one of the best I had in many countries (I'm a frequent business traveller). Friendly service at the restaurant.

Far from the city center, so a car is needed to circulate. Room with city view gave over the main road and the hotel trash bins, quite noisy (needed earplugs to sleep - and it was not a busy time of the year). It was not expensive, but the hotel should care for all views.

Very good

Right on the beach and with an indoor pool & spa. Charming and very helpful staff. Would be wonderful for the “beach fraternity” in the middle of summer but......

once the cooler weather arrives it’s raison d’etre is rather lost. The hotel is surrounded (in both seaward directions) by miles of “condo wasteland” with no shops, cafes or people.
