About this house rental

Prairie four square built in 1913 in the Blackstone district of Omaha. This home has been lovingly restored and updated to be comfortable for groups up to 12. All new heating and air, electrical and plumbing, fire alarms for safety. Fully equipped kitchen and dining room, great room and TV area, powder room and laundry on first floor. Separate play areas for children with books and games for all ages. Landscaped backyard off large deck. Four off street parking spots available. Four bedrooms on second floor (2 with queen bed, one with king bed and one with queen bed and daybed with pull out trundle,) a full bath and a 3/4 bath. Third floor includes family room area, daybed with trundle and 3/4 bath. Located in recently revitalized Blackstone District with variety of restaurants and bars, nearby Midtown Crossing includes more restaurants, a park with outdoor concerts in the summer, shops and a theater. Centrally located with short commute to UNMC, UNO, Creighton, TD Ameritrade Ballpark, CHI Health Center Arena and Convention Center, Old Market District, Henry Doorly Zoo, Lauritzen Botanical Gardens, Joslyn Art Museum. Rental bikes and scooters available in Midtown Crossing. *Please note - we do limit to 12 guests and do not allow gatherings beyond the guests staying at the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Omaha visit at this property. The house is very conveniently located close to downtown and within walking distance to several restaurants, pubs, and boutique shops. The interior is very nicely decorated and updated with cozy charm. I don’t know when we’ll get back to Nebraska again, but if we do, we would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

This house has been restored with love and attention to creative details such as "find the fairies and fairy doors hidden in non-conspicious places" and partaking in locally made candy and bread generously provided by the hosts. Nooks and crannies for young people to explore. Beautifully decorated with interesting things from the past. Highly recommend this house. C

Such a beautifully restored home, centrally located and wonderful hosts. My dad and brothers came in for the College World Series and could not have been happier with our stay. Highly recommend this property. Hoping to come back again next year.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home to prepare for our son’s wedding here in Omaha. Heritage House easily accommodated family members who traveled in to celebrate with us over the Thanksgiving holiday. This home was well equipped and centrally located to all designated venues. Tiger and Wendy are great hosts, and they were very easy to contact and returned our messages promptly. All who stayed with us enjoyed the accommodations. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

We were in Omaha for an 80tth birthday celebration. We couldn't be happier with our choice of houses! The house was beautiful, immaculately clean, had all the comforts we could possibly need. You can see that the owners care about their guests. The neighborhood was nice and close to everything we needed. Would highly recommend!!!!

We loved everything about this property. Check in was easy and Tiger and Wendy were extremely helpful. This house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The locations of all of the bedrooms being on the second and third floor made it an ideal home for night, owls, and early birds to be on the first floor. Additionally, there are little details everywhere in this home such as: a beautiful stained glass window of a tree in Four seasons and cute little doors throughout. Check out was also an easy process. If it wasn’t for the fact that we live on the east coast, and this home is a Nebraska, we all agreed that we would stay again!

We really enjoyed this beautiful home! Multi-generational family in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for everyone, large common areas to visit in and spacious bedrooms. Decorated with unique and beautiful eclectic treasures. Linens and towels and soaps very high-end luxurious. Walking distance to restaurants and the best ice cream place ever. Quick drive to Arches Park (wow!) and the zoo. Highly recommend.

We stayed here with our high school track team for the Nebraska State Track Meet and had plenty of room with plenty of amenities. Kitchen was great, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and the host was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for ours daughters Creighton graduation. Host’s communication was always friendly and quick. House was clean and very well equipped and fit our party perfectly. We easily walked to the Blackstone district where there are nice restaurants and bars. Are stay made are celebration just perfect. We love Omaha and the Creighton community would stay again if we return.

My friends and I absolutely loved staying here for a weekend getaway! The house is beautifully restored and decorated so thoughtfully. We loved all the amenities and even the small details really made this place feel like home. Awesome location within walking distance to food and activities. The owners gave us some great recommendations for things to do around town and we were welcomed with fresh baked bread, honey and local sweets. Couldn't ask for a better host or property!

The location was great, very close to the Chi Center where we were spending a lot of time. The house was stocked with everything we needed. She thought of so many little things that were extremely helpful to have. There were plenty of towels, extra toothbrushes, and Q tips available, she even had a fresh loaf of bread with butter and honey upon our arrival. There was a lot of space for nine people to live and sleep comfortably.

We had a wonderful Christmas at this property with our 4 adult children, great grandmother, and granddaughter. The pictures don’t do this charming house justice. Recent renovations have done a perfect job of adding modern updates while preserving the historic character. The house is exceptionally well stocked with plenty of utensils, linens, and towels. The two small playrooms (ground floor and top floor) were a wonderful bonus for our 18 mos old granddaughter. The owners were very responsive and cooperative. We’ve stayed at many short term rentals across the US and Europe and this was by far the best experience and value we’ve had.

Our stay at the Heritage Haus was wonderful! We came in for a wedding and had our children with their spouses join us. The house was spacious yet very cozy with beautifully thoughtful touches everywhere! The local bread, candies, honey and soap were an extra special touch!

Four couples stayed in this beautifully restored home. Every detail is perfect. The home is clean, well stocked and comfortable. There was plenty space for parking our 4 large vehicles and the back deck was nice. We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time. All 4 bedrooms were on the same floor, along with two of the bathrooms. The basement is separate and not included. It helped that Wendy met us there upon arrival, taking the guesswork out of finding everything in the home. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Charming nicely renovated older home with lots of charm in an older, but safe neighborhood. My only negative is the property is located one block off a very busy Omaha street and there was lots of car and motorcycle engine noise until late at night, which is not the owners fault.

Had a girl’s trip to Omaha to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It’s in a great location too; it’s in walking distance of some restaurants and shopping too! The house itself was incredibly clean and we had more than enough amenities for the 9 of us! All around an excellent stay; I would highly recommend!

This is a dream house that accommodates any large family. So much detail has gone into making you feel comfortable and at home. Comfy beds, beautifully decorated rooms and cute little play areas for children to play. This house has a large kitchen fully stocked with plates, glasses for a large crowd. We loved our stay and highly recommend staying here if you are in Omaha.

This is a very welcoming home . We were wanting a great place for a senior trip where the students have their own space but also plenty of room to hang out and play games.
