Small, friendly, great location, fantastic views, amazing gardens and pool area, short walk to a gorgeous sandy beach with, some very chilled out beach cafes. Food was exceptional. loved our stay and will definitely book again.

The property was so close to everything but yet in a very private setting. the pool was amazing with loads of different area to sit whether it be in the grass under a tree or around the pool. the pool bar was lovely and Josue was so nice and couldn’t do enough for us. there was also a lovely pathway with fruit tress from pool to the beach . the beach was so big with a few restaurants with lovely food and beds with parasols to lay on by the sea. The hotel was spotless clean everywhere. the room was big and the bed was very large and comfortable. the balcony on the third floor where we were had amazing views . we had the best most relaxing Holiday we ever had. we were there the first week of October so it was very quite. you could also walk to the village of ferragudo which was a lovely fishing village with loads of delicious restaurants serving fresh fish.
I would highly recommend this hotel
the only downfall for us was the food during the day as they were coming to the end of their season . the first weekend we arrived we could get no food by pool. also the dinner menu had no choice so if you didn’t like the starter, main or desert it wasn’t worth the set price of 30€. but once I realised this we just ate in surrounding restaurants which were fab.

very clean well maintained room and surrounding areas, pool gardens, etc
it was a bit oldie worldy beds were very hard, pillows really lumpy and flat, room furniture quite dated, but must say very clean and house keeping was very good, fantastic views from our bedroom balcony window, didn't have an evening meal because the breakfast was a bit of a let down,it was mostly continenal and with very limited choice.

Everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful. The views of the sunset from our balcony magnificent. The private path to the beach was lined with the orange and pomegranate trees. Brekfast and dinner were delicious. Romantic place in the luscious gardens by the sea. We loved it.

Stunning views, friendly staff, access to the beach, beautiful and clean rooms... all what we wanted. Thanks for amazing stay at Casabela ****
Having a car is essential. No lunch available but we were travelling mist of the time during the day so it wasn't needed.

Frendly and service minded staff, very clean, Nice pool area, insane view from the rooms, good breakfest.
Very little hot water, The hotel seamed very dead at times(might be a post covid problem), food in snack Bar was extremely dull and tasteless(especially when you take in considiration of the Price 9euro for a toast).

the entire hotel was spotlessly clean and could not be faulted. room was cleaned every day and all communal areas were well kept. staff were very helpful and friendly. The beach was also beautiful and had a lovely walk down to it from the pool. Location was great a short drive into ferragudo for shops/restaurants and maybe 15 minutes from portimao. parking on site too which was free. woul definitely stay again!
Food was basic but we only had breakfast which was fine. Could maybe do with some more choices.

Really close to a beautiful beach. Overall the location is great.....but that's about it.
Fortunately there were some really nice people, the bartender and the ladies in the restaurant....
The hotel was understaffed. The pool bar was not open until the last day we stayed. The pool was not properly taken care of. Actually the whole area was not fully cleaned. There was nothing in the minibar....not even a complimentary bottle of water. And the food at the restaurant in the evening ....well....better cross the street at the Indian restaurant - way better and nicer food.

The rooms were excellent size. Everything was exceptionally clean and both hotel and grounds were well looked after.
Food was excellent. Good choice of breakfast and evening meals.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Could not fault anything.

the location of the hotel is amazing. access to the beach is super convenient and the bars at the beach were very nice with good food. There is also umbrellas and recliners for rent. the beach has access via taxi to the other side of bay. You can also play tennis or golf at the property and they will lend you racquets and clubs. it’s close to the center town, which has tons of restaurants. It’s about 20 minutes walking if you don’t have a car.
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. But it’s stuck in 1970. There are no amenities in the room, no toiletries aside from soap and shampoo. There is coffee maker or tea in the room and their bar closes at 10. The breakfast is just ok… but self services and not too many options. They should do minor upgrades to the rooms. Also, the bar at the pool was closed. Lastly, but this not their fault, there was a festival going on the day we arrived that went until 4am and it was impossible to sleep. Not their fault, but they should have warned people checking in that weekend.

it was excellent and staff was so kind! feels like family there

Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist me, especially Carla and Silvia.
Room was quite spacious, quiet and clean.
Rooms right out of "Bogey and Bacall" in Casablanca. A lovely view and nicely appointed.
Hotel charging policies should, perhaps, be reviewed.
Perhaps overpriced for off season. Hotel charged extra for almost everything. Very few electrical outlets and scant toiletries provided. Bath gel and shampoo only.
Fresh cut fruit at breakfast appeared/tasted old which makes no sense in this area. Hotel was less than generous with bath linens.

It’s a lovely old world hotel but it needs a good shake up It’s stuck somewhere in the eighties especially for breakfast they should visit some nearby hotels like the Tivoly and see how things have changed

Beautiful views from our room, good wifi, decent breakfast (although scrambled eggs were a bit greasy and I was missing bacon), access to an almost private beach, spacious rooms, lovely pool area.
Rooms are a bit out-dated, there is a distinct lack of electrical sockets close to bed. I was surprised that a 4 star hotel would not provide any kettle to make a tee, or ironing board. In this regard I have seen 2 star motels on a Polish highway having better equipment than this place.
