About this house rental

Leatherback Lodge is a tasteful balance of all that Cherry Grove has to offer, situated just one block from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and directly on a saltwater tidal channel connecting you to Hog Inlet. Take a casual stroll on the beach in the morning and fish off your own private dock for sunset!!! Leatherback Lodge features 4 large bedrooms and 2 and a half baths, stainless appliances and a large family dining table enjoy a private boat ramp, deck over water and private floating dock!!!

The space
Very rare to have your own private boat ramp, perfect for an active lifestyle, kayak or paddle board directly from the back yard. So close to the ocean you can hear the crashing waves!!! Short drive to all the shopping and dining that North Myrtle Beach has to offer!! Leatherback Lodge sleeps 12 and feature a large dining table to accommodate all guests. Freshly renovated with new flat screen smart TVs and new outdoor lounging spaces.

If you are more of the adventurous type we also have the “Adventure Package” for an additional $399 per stay, it includes : 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 4 Beach Bikes, 2 Surfboards, 4 Boogie Boards, 4 Beach Chairs , 4 Fishing poles, 1 Cast net, 1 crab trap, 2 Beach Umbrellas , 2 Coolers and a Beach wagon for easy transport to the beach!

Beautiful channel home with spacious entertaining areas inside and outside. Nicely remodeled interior with lots of natural light, updated kitchen, and bathrooms. Pictures online don’t do it justice!

My family and I had a wonderful time in this home, it was the perfect location with so much to do. The home was very clean and tidy and updated. The beds were comfortable and weather it was sunny or raining there was no lack of activities. Very short walking distance to the beach. The owner was very much available for any questions. I would definitely recommend this for a wonderful getaway.

The leatherback Lodge was awesome! It had a nice and clean living area and a great outdoor area as well with seating and a dock overlooking the water. The bikes were a huge hit and we got the adventure package so we had everything we needed for a great vacation!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the property. House was clean and was exactly as shown in the photos. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise! Check in/out was super simple and great communication with the owners. Great spot in Cherry Grove, close to the beach with easy access to parking for golf carts but also an easy walk to and from the beach. If you are staying all week, I would highly recommend the adventure package, you can't beat that deal. We can't wait to come back, thank you!!

Great property and location! Host went above and beyond to ensure an easy check-in. We loved being able to dock our boat to come and go wherever we wanted. Also fish and bait caught right from the dock (including a keeper flounder). Very short walk to beach access. Would definitely stay again!!

The cabin was close to the beach, shopping, water parks, restaurants, everything a family wants for a vacation. The cabin was comfortable for 5 adults and 3 teenagers. Highly recommend the Adventure Package as it contains kayaks, surf boards, skim boards, fishing poles, a beach buggy and more. This was a big hit with adults and the teenagers. We had a great week!I Would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay. Highly recommend getting the “Adventure Package” it is well worth the money. Nathan and Stephanie are excellent hosts. We had a glitch at the beginning of our stay which they were quick to fix. We would definitely stay there on a return trip.

Property was great! Loved the roominess, the downstairs hangout, and the adventure package! Added bonus was the stocked coffee, cooking supplies, etc above the stove. We tried to pay it forward with a few of our leftover supplies. Weather was great, but hopefully will come earlier in the summmer next time!

This was by far the best vacation we have had. From the cleanliness of the house, the friendly hosts, to the adventure package , it was a priceless experience. The beach was a short distance and the pier was a short bike ride. I couldn’t be more happy with our experience and would and probably will rebook in a heartbeat. Thank you!!!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this property. Very clean with tons of extras. The location is great with just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Very minimal traffic on the street is perfect for having kids that wanted to ride bikes/scooters. We will definitely be back again!

We had a group of 10 stay at the Leatherback Lodge and we enjoyed every part about the experience! Definitely recommend the adventure package so you can enjoy the canal behind the house. The hosts were very responsive and were able to fix the WiFi the same day it went down. Very appreciative for the experience!

Leatherback Lodge is the perfect set up for several couples, in three king sized rooms, plus up to 8 kids in a room with double sized bunks. Flat screens with YouTube TV in every room. The living room is huge with plenty of space for playing games, watching movies, etc. The kitchen had all of the essentials as did both bathrooms. Outside the view is beautiful from four different seating areas, two of which are covered. The channel was perfect for kayaks, paddle boards, etc. and beach access is two blocks away! Stephanie was responsive and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place!
