I liked the location of the hotel, it is near to the beach. The big pool also great! The garden was amazing! Eddie in the bar is a great guy!! Also full the staff was nice!!
Thin walls, all the noises can be heard from the neighbour rooms. A lot of rude, loud guests, who are awake till 4 a.m. and make very heavy noises, we couldn't sleep. One time the police come to arrange the fighting neighbours. The food was not so tasty, despite of that we always find something to eat. The arrangement of the restaurant can be better, avoid huge queues, it took at least fifteen minutes to collect something to eat. The furniture should be refurbished, the bed for my daughter was worn and ugly, also my husband's bed got some stain. The furnitures in the bar should be cleaned regularly.

location was okay, close to beach and restaurants
the air conditioning was too old, bathroom was bad (amenities were horrible), beds were not as comfortable

Hotel is in a great location just 5 minutes from the beach and directly across the road from the sister hotel with great pool facilities. Cals D'or is a great family resort with loads of bars and restaurants to visit.
The hotel would benefit from a little TLC. Coming in at the end of the day to no hot water for showers is frustrating.

shower wasn’t very powerful

the room was a little bit old, but its good for that price.

staff were extremely helpful.
hotel was in a great location. centre of Cala Dor was only a couple of minutes walk away.
our first room was a twin room and it was terrible! Staff changed our room without a fuss and it was much better

Hotel was overbooked when we arrived but they have helped us really good. We got a sulotion for the first 2 nights and then got an even bigger room (appartment) for the rest of our stay. They also offered us all inclusive for the first day for the whole familie even though the second room was completely what we did book (we booked 2 rooms).
Hotel is big and close by the beach, perfect for families with children I would say, they can easilu walk theirself to the beach if they wanted.
Center with shops and nice restaurants are on walking distance, also for older people.

the apartments were so pretty and set in beautiful gardens, the location was perfect and we had a view of the beach and sea from our balcony. the apartment was clean and spacious and the air conditioning was a dream. lovely pools too
a number of sunbeds around the pool were broken and we always ended up with these as the early rises claim all the good ones. not really an issue though

Loved it all, the receptionist was of world class 💜

This hotel fully met our requirements. The apartment was a good size for four people. There was ample wardrobe space, a large bathroom, lots of mirrors, good air conditioning. Our apartment overlooked one of the smaller swimming pools. Plenty of sun loungers. We were very happy with the all inclusive for our meals & drinks. Lots of food, lots of choice at breakfast, lunch & dinner. The beautiful beach (Cala Gran) was less than five minutes away, shops on our doorstep, public bus stop just up the road. A lovely resort to explore - moving along from one pretty cove to another.

Location was excellent. Room was clean. had to request to move rooms as was very small and dark with view over some rubbish and a washing machine but very happy with new room. Wide variety of food and very friendly helpful staff
Food was ok - nothing special but did the job for the 12 teenagers we had with us.

location

The location was amazing, everything was easily reachable by foot. It was also really nice that there were multiple pools and areas so that everyone could find something that fit with their wishes. The staff was also really nice! Apartments were simple but had the basic necessities that you will need. AC worked nicely in our room as well.
It could have been cleaned more during our stay and also before arriving... Also, the choices of the food became a bit boring after a few days and weren't of the highest quality, but still enjoyable for the price we paid.

Location is very good very close to beach and town. Food was of a good standard. Staff were excellent. Rooms very plain but very clean. Two chairs broken but repaired with 15mins, Fridge broken replaced within 15mins great service. Our view second floor you could just see the sea (so could be loosely called sea view) not disappointed with room. The air conditioning does not work should not be in the room description (none of the rooms that I tried had working air con (we had hot air only)
The rooms state they HAVE Air Conditioning BUT the DONT it was quite hot and when we switch the air con on it only blew hot air (even though I had it set to cool and the thermostat turned to 12 degrees the lowest setting). Complained to reception as the rooms were very hot making it to hot to sleep properly, Answer from reception the air con is set by the main hotel I.e if they set it to hot then all rooms are hot and they had, reception also gave me information on how to keep the room cool " Open The Patio Doors and let the Fresh Air in" very useful i sure. If you leave the doors/Window open the mosquitoes come in Lol. They did say they would request engineering look at our A/C But NO one did : ( Two small other dislikes not deal breaking though - Disappointed regarding drinks all drink under the all inclusive are not included only local unknown brands offered (but that said they did taste ok) However the cocktails were another matter they are all premixed and so I am told taste revolting would recommend either mix them your selves or forget them.

Nice spacious living area, very clean looking
Beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have a sea view and be on the ground floor
Only issues were ants in the apartment. I did speak with the reception and the problem was sorted.

Location brilliant near all shops, bars & restaurants
No facilities in studio e.g pots, cups, cutlery, kettle ect

the staff were all incredibly polite and well dressed and so kind
room 3002.. there was black mould spots on the curtains, a lot of it and the shower head was so old that it only worked on one setting and that was the one in the middle that is not really pleasant. there was a 2 ring electric hob but no oven, or microwave oven or even a kettle.. how could one warm a pizza or make a cup of tea.. the balcony wall outside the room was white washed but it was brown and dirty… the tv was very very small and in a bad position for watching when it was raining and the WiFi was very very poor often did not work at all, when I asked for help with this at reception I was told that it was because everyone was using it !! the food was nice but there was often not anything suitable for my 14 year old daughter.. She went hungry. I don’t think I will stay there again.

The place was clean and the food was fine, not great but fine.
The location was spot on too!
The room we booked was a studio, sold as suitable for a family of four. We arrived in the middle of the night and given the key to our room, otherwise known as a hamster cage. We lay in a row, on two single beds pushed together and a sofa bed pulled out pushed beside the beds. I didn't realise they made mattresses that thin! When we moved, the beds creaked with springs in the mattress poking us. We shuffled around the beds to get to the toilet and back into bed holding back tears of the thought of spending the week in this room. The icing on the cake was when the woman next day, who sounded like heavy smoker began to cough and splutter, the distinct noise of her coughing up her phlegm was the final nail on the coffin. My husband jumped out of bed and headed back to reception, followed by his slightly hysterical wife in her nightie (me). We demanded a new room, one that was adequate for a family of four. We were then shown to a one bed apartment which had ample space, a massive contrast to the cage we just left. We were told the next morning the apartment would cost an extra €16 a day, we were happy to pay this as there was no way on this earth we were spending a week in the 'other room'! Although, I don't think the hotel should be selling these rooms stating they are suitable for a family of four when they are clearly not. They was definitely a difference in quality of the rooms too, the mattress in the new room was a least four times the thickness of the studio room, I am sure the walls were much thicker too. So, my advice, be careful what you are booking.com!!!
Secondly the entertainment was of very poor quality.
3.6
Very clean lovely friendly staff, good choice of food.
Night entertainment and sound was awful I know it’s free but with very little to see on a night locally more effort and more professional would make this hotel worth another booking and recommend.

The food was amazing. Great variety and quality .
The bed was uncomfortable.

Position of the hotel, near were many stores and the beach. The personal was nice and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday. The food was tasty.
Beds could be better.

Great animation staff made even us oldies feel involved and welcome. Boris and the girls were brilliant with the kids and good fun in the evenings. We couldn't fault the food and very clean. Loads of hand sanitisation stations around.
Reception staff very helpful. I had trouble connecting to WiFi and girl behind the counter was very helpful

We liked everything! Hotel is big, so you can use all of the facilities. They have like 4 pools. We stayed in the apartments' building so we had almost private pool downstairs. The beds had memory foam mattresses which was very comfortable. Cleaning suppose to be 3 times per week but I think the cleaning lady came every day because I saw new towels every day. The food was also very good! I was expecting less but the variety was really impressive for 3* hotel. The beach is great and just 5 minutes walking. Water there is incredibly transparent. The only problem was that they don't have umbrellas there, though you can buy one in the supermarket on the way with very affordable price.
The animation was fantastic (Irene and Boris)! They are very lovely people, always attentive and communicative but never pushy. The kids were attached to Irene the whole day, so she definitely knows how to involve them.
I actually already recommended this hotel to all of my friends and will definitely come again.
I truly liked everything! Nothing negative to say!
