We had a lovely time with our family. There were 23 of us, ranging in age from 2 years old to 69 :-). It was a beautiful setting with plenty to do for everyone.
The view and chairs on the porches were wonderful!

For the second year in a row, I have taken a group of over 50 people from my church youth group to stay at the Moose Hollow Lodge. See my first review for more specific comments. The most notable thing this time around was the consistency— It is just as good as we remembered.

The cabin and its surroundings is beautiful. We had some issues with the wifi/movie theater but Eddie helped as best he could. If you have a large family this is a great cabin to use.

We chose this cabin because of the large number of people it would sleep. We stayed for a family vacation. It was a great location for myself, my 3 sisters, spouses, children and grandchildren to spend some quality time together. The cabin was clean, the kids enjoyed the game room and theater. The pool and hot tubs were enjoyed by the teens late at night. Plenty of room. Great kitchen that we cooked in daily. We would return again.

Moose Hollow Lodge was the perfect choice for our family retreat. I would absolutely choose the same property again. It is beautiful! It is a large property and so well maintained. The home was super clean when we arrived. The floors are gorgeous, the games were a huge hit with the children as well as the adults and the pool house is awesome!
The location was perfect and an easy drive and close to everything. Eddie was easy to reach and very helpful.
Our entire family loved this home and spent time reconnecting on the porches that overlook the gorgeous mountain scenery. Those rockers on that front porch got a lot of use. The property is so big that even with 23 of us there was plenty of space for privacy also. I cannot say enough good things about this property.
We used a couple of different caters for food. Chef Ray of Fruitful Vintage is delightful and makes the best ribs and chicken we have ever had and the chocolate bundt cake was off the charts. And then there was the gumbo...
Chef Tony of Holston's Catering in Sevierville prepared the most amazing cookout in the mountains for us at a pavilion we rented. Seriously, the best burgers and sides you can imagine. His homemade biscuits, sausage gravy and breakfast buffet were thoroughly enjoyed!
We definitely plan to return one day! Thanks, Eddie!

We had a wonderful stay at Eddie's house. Beautiful scenery, plenty of space, great amenities, enormous beds, large rooms, wonderful for the kids who enjoyed the pool and the arcade! We even saw a couple of bears wondering about. Eddie was super communicative and accommodated our needs swiftly.

Last week, I took 51 people (38 high school students, 13 adults) to Moose Hollow Lodge for a church youth group summer camp. The pictures were promising, but I wasn't sure whether the property would live up to that promise.
Well, let me tell you that the lodge is as advertised. An absolutely amazing place for a retreat. Everyone slept comfortably, the chapel made it feel like a true "camp," the plentiful outdoor seating made it so that everyone could eat together (I recommend moving the picnic tables to the back porch [while of course moving them back before you leave]), and the hot tubs are awesome and clean. The lodge is expensive but worth the price.
I should also add that Eddie, the owner, was impressive. He was very responsive to any question I had via text or phone call. I felt very cared for as a camp coordinator!
My one, minor critique (more like an FYI). The floor plans indicate that there are two pull-out beds per room on the top level. There is, in fact, only one pull-out bed per room on the top level. This wasn't a big issue, but might be relevant for those of you who are planning to fit the maximum amount of people in the lodge.

We had a our close family stay with us for our wedding right at the lodge. It worked perfect for a wedding out back overlooking the mountains. Would be nice if their was a sidewalk thought out to the grass rather then walking across a patch of rocks.
We had the reception in the chapel and that was perfect for it!
The rooms were nice and spacious.
The pool room was nice even though the pool was cold for most of our stay so kiddos did not enjoy it as much as we hoped.
Some things off from description and not pleasant:
-there is no gas grill
-there is no charcoal or lighter fluid for other grills
-the fridge smelled horrible upon arrival we had to try to clean it or else whole kitchen stunk
-the tables in the chapel claims to be 6 large round but was only 4 and then 1 small round so for us we asked ahead to double check and ordered table clothes for wedding and had them dry cleaned to learn that then we didn’t have enough tables and couldn’t use our circle table clothes on rectangle tables.
-the floor throughout whole house could use better cleaning. Stuff is not moved or cleaned close too and floors need a mopping/wood floor cleaning they literally can make you feet black from dirt.
-each bathroom could use more towels (rooms upstairs that sleep 8 people only had 4 towels)
-no hot pads yet 3 ovens
Beyond all this stuff I would still recommend this place to someone just upon request owner changes few things and description to match changes.

This venue was so perfect for my wedding, my family wanted to come back and stay for a family reunion. I absolutely loved the views and the movie theater and game room were the icing on the cake. My elders were all over the pacman! The rooms were huge and more gorgeous than the photos gave credit. Thanks for everything! You may see us again sooner than later.

We had a wonderful time at the Moose Hollow Lodge this past weekend. For Thanksgiving, my stepmom rented the lodge for 27 of us to be together for a long weekend. We had several people to use and enjoy the indoor, heated pool, as well as the two jacuzzis. The younger kids and pre-teens loved playing the arcade games and air hockey, although the air doesn’t work very well. It was very nice having two different seating areas for people to hang out (main floor and loft). We had people talking & watching TV on the main floor while others were upstairs playing cards/games. It was so nice to have plenty of room! The kitchen was VERY well stocked!! We had quite a few coffee drinkers, so having a dedicated water line to the Keurig machine was so nice. The regular coffee pot was very basic and took quite a while to brew a whole pot.
With it being a holiday weekend, we didn’t want to bother with calling a maintenance person away from their family. However, the following do need immediate attention: 1) The floors were absolutely filthy!! Anyone who walked around in socks or barefooted, their feet/socks were literally black!! The floors need a deep cleaning and not just a move a dirty mop around from room to room. 2) The heating element in the dryer was out. We had four families with small children who needed to dry bathing suits or wash clothes. 3) The projector light bulb in the theater needs replacing. We were unable to watch a movie or football all together due to the poor quality. 4) The ceiling fan in Room #4 doesn’t work. 5) There was a water leak under the kitchen sink so our extra trashbags etc stayed soaked. 6) The light was burned out in the shower area of the bedroom that’s located at the end of the hall on the main floor so it was very dim in the shower with only light from the connecting vanity area. 7) Lastly, the plastic triangle billiard ball rack is broken and needs to be replaced. Someone had tried to tape it together, but that didn’t help much.
Again, we enjoyed ourselves and loved having plenty to do and lots of space, but I do recommend the owners allocate some of the $15K my stepmother just spent on the rental to repair/replace/update a few things. The Moose Hollow Lodge is too nice of a facility and too expensive to rent for it to fall in disrepair.

Wow!!!! What a wonderful wedding venue. Just had our daughters wedding here. About 50 guests stayed at the location. Everything was clean and the pictures of the venue were accurate. We had an outdoor wedding and an indoor reception in the chapel. The chapel was spectacular and it was easy to beautifully decorate. The location made for beautiful pictures. Eddie was soooo accommodating and wonderful to work with. It was wonderful to have a whole weekend with family and friends in one location. It was so nice having the wedding and reception at the same place. We highly recommend this venue for a destination wedding. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Moose Hollow Lodge was the perfect place for our large family gathering. We had 41 people age 3 months to 85 years old together to celebrate my Grammy’s 80th birthday. There was enough room in the kitchen and living room for everyone to gather but also enough room between the 3 floors for people to spread out and have their space. Pool was perfect for the kids. Outdoor space was great for some yard games— there’s a small grassy area as well as a very spacious driveway. The cabin, pool and hot tubs were all very clean. One of the best parts is the drive to the cabin is super easy without a lot of steep winding roads, but it’s high enough up to have a pretty view from the porch- with lots of rocking chairs! Eddie, the owner, was easily reachable at all times. We would love to visit again!

Fun family vacation
Our family of 27 (adults, teens and children) enjoyed a week at the lodge. The spaces were well used from the game rooms with air hockey, pool table, video games and theater in the basement to poker table upstairs in the loft. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings and hot tubs every day. The kids enjoyed hours in the pool and the chapel provided space for “shows”, karaoke, etc. The location was not too far from the attractions and national park where we hiked and played in the river. A fun family reunion!

A great getaway
The property is wonderful. Tons of space, great pool, great gathering areas, and a secluded spot. We would definitely stay here again. The kids loved the arcade area, the adults loved the deck and the views, and everyone enjoyed cooking and being together.
Be forewarned that you should take the guidance about bears seriously. We saw a momma bear and three cubs on multiple occasions while we were using the party, including right outside the pool house. It certainly let you know you were in the mountains!

Family Vaca
This house is truly amazing. It was perfect for our family. There was 21 of us and we were able to spread out and it didn’t feel too big. The basement game room and movie theatre is a kids dream. They had their own space to hang out. The pool room was a huge hit! It was cold outside so the indoor pool allowed for swimming when ever we wanted. So many other positive attributes about this house. If you are considering it don’t hesitate, book it!

Incredible!
My husband and I just had our wedding here, and it could not have been more perfect! We wanted to do a garden wedding with the mountains behind us, but it was way too hot for that and the gorgeous chapel stayed nice and cool for us and our guests to enjoy the ceremony. I was so fortunate to have that as a back up plan. We had around 40 guests stay on site with us all weekend and some join us just for the wedding. Everyone had an absolute blast with so much to do. Air hockey tournaments went late into the night and others stayed outside dancing and star gazing. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially for a family as it keeps literally everyone entertained! Also a wonderful wedding venue. We traveled down from Michigan and it was so nice to not have to rent tables & chairs! Thanks Eddie for the amazing rental☺️

Enjoyed Our Stay!
28 of us - 11 adults and 17 children enjoyed a week at this property. We had a blast! Plenty of space. Within driving distance to virtually everything. Downstairs was great for the kids. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a large family. Thanks.

Amazing Property!
Our experience at the Moose Hollow Lodge was absolutely perfect. The property is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The commercial style refrigerator and water/ice dispenser were genius additions. The two hot tubs, indoor heated pool, and movie theater ensured that everyone had something to do at all times. We would definitely stay again!

Great for a family vacation. The pool was a hit with the children. One of the children got a 2 inch splinter in his foot from running on the front porch so wear shoes,

2019 Family Reunion
This is a beautiful place. Kids loved having private pool, pool table air hockey and game machine. Parking is in back and you come in on second floor. Kitchen and dining room is huge with lots of seating and plenty of dishes and cookware. If you have little ones, bring baby gates. Great place for family reunion.

The best place you can get of this size!
Every year our church puts on an event for our student ministry on MLK weekend. We normally have 50-60 participants and each year we have stayed in a different property. Most of them have been very good but this was by far the best for us. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone (we had 55 this year), the students had ample activities to keep them entertained (arcade games, pool table, air hockey table, movie theater, and indoor pool!), and the kitchen was exactly what you need for a group of our size. Without a doubt, there is no better place for a group our size! We will certainly be back!

Can't say enough praise!
Had an amazing weekend at Moose Hollow! The house is beautiful and well kept, the amenities are top notch, and there's so much to do that you never have to leave the house and will still have fun. Between the pool, hot tubs, arcade games, movie room and more, there is enough to entertain and age group.

One of the best times of our lives--Excellent place for a retreat!
I hosted a woman's retreat for roughly 30 women at Moose Hollow Lodge last week and was very happy with the property! The lodge is actually even bigger and beautiful than the photos do justice--the bedrooms are spacious and luxurious--the arcade games are a hoot!--the hot tubs got a ton of use--and the chapel was perfect for workshops, while the pool house was a great escape. We had so much fun and I fully intend on renting this property again next year.

Fun Family Time
We came to Moose Hollow lodge to celebrate my cousins wedding, we had a very large group but we didn't feel crowded.
Lots of options for the Adult kid in every one. Indoor pool, movie theater, air hockey, even arcade games.
We were all big kids, having a blast.
No need to go anywhere...loved it!

this is THE most amazing place for a large group
we had 51 people with us and we were far from crowded. there were plenty of places to have a quiet conversation or just some alone time. the theater room is amazing AND there is a indoor pool. The kitchen is large enough for all three chefs that are in the family to work together and make all the meals without being in each others way. I would highly recommend this property for an gathering ( we had a family wedding).

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Highly recommend
We stayed at the moose hollow for about a week with our entire bridal party, family and friends for our wedding on August 13. Absolutely an incredible experience. Because our entire bridal party was arriving at different times, Eddie let us check in early and was very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Worth every penny.

Glamping Trip for Girl Scouts
We took Arlington Girl Scouts to Moose Hollow Lodge and we all had a blast! We called it "Glamping" instead of Camping. The rooms, facilities, pool, chapel, hot tub, and scenery was magnificent! This was our second time visiting and we look forward to returning again soon.

Moose Hollow Lodge is AMAZING!
We spent 2 nights for my daughters 8th Grade class trip. Our group consisted of 20 kids and 16 adults. The lodge offered plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Cabin was well stocked with everything you could need. Amazing amenities, amazing views, great location! We visited Waldens Creek riding stables which is just down the street and had a great horse back riding adventure! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Great Weekend Stay
I stayed in the cabin for a weekend with a large group of people and it was a lot of fun. The cabin was well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, entertainment, cleaning supplies, and so much more. The view was really good and the cabin was very nicely kept. We really enjoyed the large open kitchen and the access to a washer and dryer. Having two hot tubs was great because with such a large group, one hut tub would have been frustrating. The cabin is also not that far from downtown Pigeon Forge so restaurants and attractions are easy to get to yet it was secluded enough to have privacy and scenery.

You think its a cabin, but its an experiendce
The Moose Hollow Lodge is a sight to see. You can't really grasp the size of the 11,000 sqft space until you are there. We had a last minute change in wedding venue and the OWNER answered his CELL PHONE at 8pm on a Wednesday evening. We needed to have a wedding on a Sunday, 4 hours after someone else was checking out and his cabin management team Steve and Terri had everything done for us with time to spare. The communication skills on this team are superb and the cabin is like a fairy tale in the clouds. We used the conference center/chapel for our wedding and took beautiful photos on the grounds, in the cabin, and in the nearby surrounding areas. Check out T&T Photography for more and we will do everything we can to post to their facebook page. You are buying an experience that no other cabin on the mountain can offer you. With an indoor pool, chapel, 2 tiers of covered deck space and enough on site activities for the whole family, you cannot find a better all inclusive deal for a business retreat or secluded intimate mountain wedding. My wife and I will always come back to Moose Hollow Lodge and bring all of our friends and family. You know why? It sleeps 56 people comfortably and they wake up in a mountain filled canvas covered in a Tennessee sunrise. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in making our weekend, our out of state travelers, and our most memorable moment of our lives a SCREAMING SUCCESS!!!

Great place to get married
The place is carefully maintained by the property manager and the owner is almost always instantly available via e-mail. Everything you need is there to host a successful wedding. Everything works, nothing is broken. Everything is in great shape. If you want to see the property ahead of time for planning purposes, they work in between vacancies to show it to you. 5-stars, everybody is super professional. A++

Great Experience
We had our church Ladies Retreat here and had a wonderful time of fun and fellowship. There were 40 of us and everyone relaxed and enjoyed themselves. The amenities are great, the huge wrap around porch and hot tubs were a welcomed sight and enjoyed, and the kitchen was fabulous. It was very well equipped and included two new ovens and an awesome refrigerator/freezer. The indoor pool and chapel were very nice. It was so nice for us to have a place to have your separate meetings and worship. The chapel was equipped with microphones and a Karaoke system and the instructions for operating the system were very clear and easy to understand. Shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment are close for those who want to venture out but there is so much to do without leaving the facility.
Eddie, the owner and Terry and Steve, the management, were very helpful and accommodating. Any questions or concerns we had, they responded right away. We will definitely plan to stay again and will recommend this facility to all who need a place for group functions. Thanks again, our stay was great!

Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer
We used it for a family reunion - 17 adults and 34 children. We booked it for five nights but kind of wished we had gone for a full week. A lot of people felt like they didn't have time to get the full enjoyment of the cabin because there is so much to do! There is plenty to do nearby - Dollywood is close and there are plenty of other activities around Sevierville. The conference center was great for large family activities, and the kids all enjoyed the pool. The theater and game room are great fun as well. There was plenty of room for everyone, although a couple of the bedrooms are huge and others are quite small, so think hard about how you'll divvy the rooms up. The laundry facilities are a little lacking, so be prepared for that if you're planning a longer stay. Otherwise, we didn't have any complaints!

Large house with lots of extras
Our youth group spent a week at Moose Hollow for our summer retreat and had a great week. We packed the house out with 56 people and it felt comfortable. The arcade games and movie theater were a hit with our youth. They enjoyed the pool and hot tub areas. Having the separate conference center made worship so much easier then trying to accommodate it within the house (as we have done in previous locations). Maintenance responded appropriately to yellow jacket and wasp nests near the pool house. My only complaint would be not enough towels or silverware to accommodate such a large group.

PERFECT RETREAT
We have used this location for our annual women's retreat for 3 consecutive years and it is by far the most amazing place we've used. It is convenient to our home location, making it a short drive for all of women. There are ample activities available either onsite or in town. We love the setting, the chapel area and the ample space. Our women have commented time and again how much they enjoy this beautiful place. The manager is wonderful to work with as well.
