Beautiful interior with old furniture. Modern bathroom. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was available to help and answer any questions. For breakfast there was a lot of choice, fresh fruit.

We loved the location near the old city Damascus gate, and public transport.
The breakfast did not have all traditional breakfast items like chicken nuggets?, but some did have fruit options and hard boiled eggs. However we did like the garden sitting area.

The owner. He is a wonderful person who gave us a great tour inside the Old City for a very honest price. He is knowledgeable, patient and very kind.
Nothing.

Very authentic Jerusalemite Palestinian architecture. Intricate details in every room make the stay memorable and comfortable. Very cosy overall and felt like home.

The food in the restaurant is superbly delicious.
Nothing all was good.

Room was cool and nice breeze with window open. Comfortable bed. Safe provided as promised. Handy location to bus station and old city. Tram 01 4 min walk away.. Food in restaurant excellent. Breakfast good. Hairdryer provided but was old and control button hard to move. This is an old characteristic hotel.
No lift. No china cups or glasses in room for coffee only paper cups. No spoon so how are you supposed to stir coffee. No fridge. Housekeeper was very sullen, rest of staff great and cheerful. Lack of fridge meant I had to get ice from kitchen all the time as had swollen knee. This was only 3 star hotel without a fridge that I've been in. Not alot of eateries nearby, have to go to old city to find anything. Nowhere to put case, no luggage rack. Had to put on floor near desk. Bathroom microscopic but functional. Washbasin in room, not in bathroom. This didn't bother me too much. Powerpoint not by bed but next to washbasin which was nuisance as couldn't use phone while charging. Didn't replace the cups I used with clean ones next day when making up room.

This is a small Arab hotel a stone´s throw from the Damasus gate, in a 19th century building, but with a modern “greenhouse” in front. Lovely decorated, large room, quiet despite being close to a major bus station. The breakfast was good and lunch which we had once very good. Staff were polite and friendly. The location is very handy for both the old city and also not too far away from other parts of the city, especially as we mixed walking with taxis (using the GETT app, which is a blessing).
The room didn´t have a view, but on the other hand it was quiet which we had asked for.

An amazing hotel. Extremely kind people. An entire family dedicated to your well-being. Just located 200 meters away from the Damascus gate of the bursting Jerusalem, this hotel is calm. We do recommend the restaurent as well. We simply had, with great pleasure, our 4 diners onsite. Last but not least, the value for money was outstanding. This will be our hotel at the occasion of any trip to Israel! A big BRAVO and MERCI to the Staff & Management :-))
We keep searching but nothing comes to mind. It was simply 100% perfect!

Staff was nice and the heritage hotel was in a beautiful Ottoman style. The restaurant was a cozy oasis.
Some noise from street, but exceptional due to Ramadan.

it was so beautiful and authentic to its history.
the could have been a slight bit cleaner, but not horrible. That’s a judgement call.

Traditional atmosphere was nice.
The reception staff told me he would bring fresh juice but didn't come back.
No elevator because of old building.
Basically beautiful but in some parts were kept almost broken.
I wanted to eat dinner there but the restaurants were fully booked...
The velanda was good.
Morning buffet was nice!

The people who work at the hotel are very kind and warm people. The hosts made supper for me when I arrived late at the hotel, and were very happy to show me around the immediate vicinity even though it was close to midnight when I checked in! The hotel is situated within metres of Damascus Gate and a very short walk from Jaffa Gate.
Nothing.
