Property was as described and the location is an easy walk to Moonlight Beach. The noise meter on the wall was a bit annoying since when the condo is quiet it is already at 45 db. We were unaware that we would be required (requested) to wash the towels before leaving to assist with turn around as the reservation includes a hefty additional fee.We had read about the noise from upstairs in the reviews. It's true. Children of the resident were frequently awake and stomping around between 3:30 -5:00 n the morning which made the noise meter seem completely irrelevant to us. We also realized that it was out of the owners control. The property manager however was quick to respond if we needed anything when contacted and the accommodations were beautiful.

Great location for family getaway
Our visit consisted of my husband and me, our son and his wife and their 2 and 4 year old daughters, plus our daughter’s 13 year old daughter. Plenty of room for all. Decibel meter was not an issue.
Lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. Great having 2 master suites with the 3rd bedroom/ 3 bed set up just across the hall from master #2. Kitchen set up was good. Also very nice having the pool just beyond grassy area of the patio.

Encinitas Condo
Great location, especially for my son, daughter in law, & grand sons. Lots of steep hills & steps for the octogenarians in the group. Fun stay anyway.

Nice floor plan
Stairs can be an effort. Wonderful home, short walk down steep hill to beach. Safe secure parking for midsize cars.
Could use a deep cleaning, under furniture, ceiling fans. Hope to rent for a full week next year.

Great location but not too clean
Great location and I felt very safe. However the cleanliness was lacking. On our first night I ended up having to sweep the floors (they needed to be mopped but I didn’t have a bucket to use) and found dog hair and dust under the couches as well as a dog ball in the cousin of the couch. The kitchen counters were dirty and the coffee pot had caked on coffee that I personally scrubbed out. The refrigerator handles were very dirty with pieces of food particles. The top bunk of the bunkbeds had sand in the sheets when we pulled the bedding down. There was Womens hair in the bottom of the shower that we ended up cleaning before showing. You should also be aware that around 6:30 in the morning there is a child that lives in the townhome on the top floor that make a lot of noise running around. There is also a train track close by that sounds the horn at night time which made it difficult for my oldest to fall asleep.

Noise meter in Living Room
Beautiful location and community. Several big issues-
we completely understand need to manage noise levels for all, especially in a apartment situation. The harsh Directive to us was nothing over 70db or you are immediately kicked out & no refunds. The noise meter in living room would be at that if we were talking at normal levels. We essentially loud whispered and read closed caption on TV instead of jearing the shows. The folks beside us and above us were clearly NOT under same Directive creating great difficulty for my grandson to sleep. You should not require different behavior of renters than full time residents. Very oppressive situation. Their is NOTHING gourmet about the kitchen. Antique appliances and flea market pots & pans were extremely disappointing. I honestly do not believe majority of frying pans are safe to consume food cooked in them. The floors and countertops were extremely dirty. This was extremely upsetting since my grand baby is crawling and since there is an additional large fee for cleaning added to top of rental fees. Bottom line - update listing to be more honest & clear or make improvements.

Good Stay
Overall was a good stay and a nice property and setup. Only complaint was how loud the upstairs tenants were. It seems if we are required to keep the noise under 70 decibels, then they would do the same. Child running around and screaming at 6:30 am everyday.

Enjoyed our stay
Eileen the manager was terrific. The place is very nice, both the apartment and the grounds w/ pool and jacuzzi. The pitter patter of little feet above was amusing and not a problem.

Great location, plenty of room. Furnishings need to be updated, noise above us was distracting
Nice property as mentioned with great location and plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings needed to be updated, pots and pans need to be cleaned better before arrival and noise above us was distracting at times

Great place to stay!!
Large unit, great location, very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The noise meter was a bit over the top but I guess they are trying to get you to not have parties or large groups. We pretty much only slept and showered there anyway. We did enjoy the beautiful ocean views from the pool area. I was a little paranoid about the noise from 3 teenage boys but looks like we didn’t disturb anyone even with playing music and big jenga at the pool. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again. The only drawback was the lengthy instructions getting into the unit and all the different keys and remotes.

The location is great. The shared pool and patio space overlooks the cliffs and out to the Pacific ocean. You can walk to the beach down a fairly steep hill street to the beach in a few short minutes. 5 minute walk to great coffee shop and popular ice cream shop. Just a little further to reach other great restaurants and shops along Encinitas' main road (the 101).The condo felt fairly private, but you do share the space with the other residences that live in the complex. So when in the shared pool and jacuzzi space you will have other neighbors condos overlooking the area. Attached garaged was also a separate entrance, through a motorized gate, but the overall space was jointly shared with another residence. They were friendly and this did not bother us.The condo was well furnished and felt fairly spacious. Lots of upgraded appliances in the kitchen and decent furniture throughout the condo. We couldn't seem to be able to turn on the AC, so we left the windows open. The constant train horns anywhere you are in Encinitas are fairly constant. As previous reviews have mentioned, there is a noise (decibel) measuring unit in the corner of the main living area. It was constantly on our minds and seemed a bit out of the norm. The decibel level that you are supposed to stay below is 70 (up from 50 previously). You could almost meet this level running the sink or opening a soda/pop can. We were constantly reminding our 5 year old daughter to keep quite. It wasn't that bad overall and we never received any warnings or calls letting us know that we had gone above 70 decibels, but it did feel like we were in a Black Mirror episode at times. It was odd, you could watch the TV at a slightly above average level with no issue and it never went above 70 decibels. On that note, we never found the remote control to the living room TV, so couldn't adjust the volume anyway.Close to the beach, many grocery stores, downtown Encinitas, the coastal 101 and the main 5 highway to get North and South to downtown San Diego.Worth going into downtown Encinitas for Lofty Coffee, Modern Times Brewery, The Taco Stand and the Encinitas Fish Shop. Head North on the 101 for quick drive to Fish 101. It was also quick trips to Legoland and back into San Diego for the Zoo.

Wonderful spot in Encinitas.
Great spot right next to Full Moon Beach. Everything as advertised. We were a little worried about the decibel meter and extreme warnings about sound but just had a normal family gathering (no wild party) and everything was okay. Actually, the family living above was more noisy than us. There is a sound proof problem with this place as we could hear a lot going on upstairs.

A very classy and roomy apartment located up the hill from a great beach

Room for a group but meant for a couple.
Such a lovely beachhouse and a great location! Spacious and well appointed and having the green space outside and the pool/hot tub was so nice! Not sure if the listing still says there is private beach access via stairs but those are now closed which we were not informed of until the week before. Still a convenient location but was one of the reasons we chose this house. The main frustration for our family was the giant noise meter with huge red numbers on the wall. The house has plenty of room for a lot of guests - three bedrooms, three bathrooms and roomy living and kitchen areas. However it is meant for a quiet couple. We have family in the area and the cousins were simply playing cards at night chatting and laughing and we set the noise meter off multiple times. The neighbors above are very sensitive to noise so guests are supposed to be ridiculously quiet or receive a text and risk getting kicked out. Although by 7am it sounded like a heard of elephants lived above every morning so the noise consideration certainly did not go both ways. Lovely home and great location but not meant for a relaxing family gathering with chatter and laughter and typical family noise if that is what you are looking for.

Wonderful
Could not have asked for a better place to stay with my family of 4 adults and 4 children. We had a fantastic time and we attribute it to this home that was spacious, had plenty of amenities and things we needed (and also did not know we needed), proximity to attractions and of course the beach. The place was clean and perfect. We will definitely come back again.

Great! Except one thing...
We love coming to Encinitas and have two young children (2 & 3.5) so we need a house. This is maybe the best one we’ve stayed in in Encinitas - clean, practical, PERFECT location and beach accessibility. Plus the pool and hot tub. Awesome. The ‘one thing’ is the noise limit. We assumed 70 decibels would be like a loud party. It’s not, it’s basic gentle conversation. 50 decibels is whispering. My 3YO daughter walked into the kitchen and laughed a normal kid’s laugh at how great the place was and the decibel counter hit 82. We’d essentially broken our contract within 2 mins of arriving. All that said, we behaved normally and didn’t make excessive noise and hey, we weren’t kicked out! But just be aware the noise limits you’re signing up to are very low. Apart from that, an amazing place to stay!

Yogis In Encinitas
Brian was very easy to work with. The property is absolutely beautiful, very spacious and clean. Kitchen is stocked with everything you would need and there were plenty of towels (both indoor and beach). Proximity to the beach couldn’t be better. Hot tub was a must for our yoga training!
We will definitely stay if we come back! Go eat some ice cream at Handel’s, and visit Lazy Acres for groceries.
Thank you for your hospitality!

This condo has everything one might hope for: it is spacious, clean and comfortable; well-equipped; quiet; superbly located—walking distance to our favorite spots in Leucadia and Encinitas, and easy access to the beach. The views from the common areas are breathtaking. We loved our stay and hope to stay here again upon return. Thank you for sharing your great place, Brian and Family!

Great place for family vacation
We stayed here for a week with another family and 3 kids total and had a blast. The kitchen is awesome with commercial equipment and we cooked almost every night. The kids loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. The pool was a hop across the grass lawn which made it very convenient for all of us. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and large. It was nice to have a garage for both our cars as well. All in all, we had a great week and would definitely return here.

Okay
Place was nice, but the add is a little misleading. The add shows a beach front property, which it is, with direct access to the beach via wooden stairs attached to the side of the hill that the property is located on. The wooden steps are closed, therefore, you have to walk about a block to get down to the beach. If I had known this, I would have rented a place one row of houses back from the beach which would have ended up with the same walking distance to the beach and I could have saved a little money.

Great for a family
We stayed the week of January 25, 2019. The place is well-equipped. (toaster oven vs. a toaster was a little tricky with a big family, and I am spoiled and prefer a coffee pot that has the self stopper when you pull the pot to pour). Beds we comfortable, and we really needed three bathrooms for our family. The pool was not heated, and the hot tub was ok, but not best. Views from pool area are amazing. Not really beach access since the stairs are blocked off and not safe. You should walk to Moonlight one large block downhill. The underground garages are nice and safe. The security here is tight so not the easiest in and out with the codes and multiple keys, but it is very safe. nice spaces between rooms for quiet. lovely living room for a family hang out. Accessible owner and assistant.
I would not recommend this place for anyone with accesiblity issues based on stairs to access.

Excellent Stay!
Great property!
Location is fantastic, the beach can be accessed by utilizing the stairs or walking about one block to the beach with a playground. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us and we took advantage of the pool and hot tub as well. The grounds are beautiful and there is an amazing view of the ocean that we took advantage of every morning. This was a fantastic family vacation with 3 generations, everyone had a fantastic time with something to do for all.
I had a question during the stay and Brian responded quickly.
This is a great property and we will book to stay here again.
