Great hotel overall. Clean rooms, nice pool and breakfast was full of options. The hotel’s location was in a very peaceful place surrounded by nature.

The hotel is very nice, It is located in the Perequé area, which is centraly located in the island, very near to the port. The hotel itself is some 1000 meters from the shops and restaurantes of the Perequé beach. Its garden is the jungle so if you enjoy greenery this is for you. Rooms are comfy and clean. Breakfast is truly amazing.
Lighting in rooms is quite bad. It has been designed to have a warm light but if for some reason you want good light (to unpack or read) you are will be very dissapointed. Towels should be better. They seem thin and rough.
Also we had booked 4 nights and had to change plans for personal reasons and the hotel would not give us a voucher for the night we would not be using. They said that Booking.com policy did not allow them that. We told them we would pay for it but might be using it some other time (or giving it to someone else) but they would not allow it.

The entire place felt like a dream, surrounded by natuere. It is clean, the staff is amazing and alwaya ready to help with everything we needed. The pool is big, kept at a nice temperature and the bar by the pool has delicious snacks, finger foods and cocktails. Breakfast is also very good with a good variety of foods, fruits, breads and cakes ans gives us view to the pool and the woods, so it's also an amazing morning start.
The room we stayed at had a jacuzzi, big bed and a great view to the pool and woods, we had room service when we asked for food and everything was perfect for out first couple travel.
It is around 15-20min walk to the closest beach or a 5min ride. They provide us towels both for the poop and beach, they have a small shop with amenities and beachwear.
The tv remote was really bad, it was such a trouble to use it that we gave up on watching TV, we couldn't even change channels or try to commect our Netflix account because the remote's buttons simply didn't worked.

Great location in the forest, beautiful property and the breakfast was so wonderful. The pool was heated and lovely.
Bathrooms could be updated and the decking around the pool needed to be redone.

The cleaners laundry was right underneath our bedroom. The smell every morning was not pleasent.

This is a beautiful, updated, and relaxing hotel with all the amenities. the massages are affordable and feel amazing. My favorite part was the friendly and kind receptionist Guillermie. Gui was so funny, spoke English to help us get by, flexible with our groups crazy plans, and helpful with all of our needs. We even were able to have dinner with some staff after ordering way to much food! He made sure we had everything we needed outside of the normal staff hours and ensured there were no wasted left overs. loved this stay.
the only bad about this property are the biting flies. they were so bad on the whole island of Ilhabela. Kalango did a good job ensuring no bites when inside, getting massages, and in the pool. sitting poolside though becomes a fly buffet.

Very clean and staff very kind and helpful. Also breakfast was really good.
Rooms were a bit loud and the hotel is a bit far from beaches and restaurants, so you have to do everything by car.
