Setting and location

Self catering and no cloth or dishing washing liquid to clean the dishes. No place in shower to put soap's, shampoos etc.

Stunning property! We visited in a group of family for a birthday and we had a gorgeous traditional lunch and the breakfast is lovely too! Stunning surroundings! Staff are amazing, friendly and efficient! Houses are perfect aswell, so spacious for a little night with friends!

Awful facilities, why close the restaurant at 6pm on a Sat ? or the bar at 8pm . No where to eat within 6 miles Avoid at all cost

Excellent location and facilities. The apartment was big and bright, very clean, with private patio and dog friendly. We dined in the restaurant in the main house and food was very good, staff was lovely too. Nearby village only few min drive away, lovely walks in the area.

A missed opportunity

There was a lot of space and the apartment was warm and quiet.

There were no facilities available in the hotel and surrounds. There are no staff on site. The apartment was very bare with limited furnishings. There was a lack of pillows and those provided were very poor. There was very poor water pressure in the taps. Very limited cups and crockery. The apartment was very dark with limited light. Very expensive for such a remote area with no facilities. This place has so much potential but would not stay again unless there's a significant improvement or change of management.

Lovely weekend stay!

Beautiful accommodation, set in beautiful grounds in a lovely quaint little village! Staff were super welcoming and helpful, food in the restaurant was super and the whole stay was reasonable too!

A very nice relaxing location on a beautiful golf course. Nice town house with a full kitchen and two very nice bedrooms. staff and management were very friendly and supportive to getting us set up. good restaurant for dinner and drinks in a beautiful environment.

Lovely, good value place to stay if you want a nice golf break.

Lovely location and so nice just to be able to walk straight out onto the golf course from the apartment. Staff were very friendly and did their best to help us with any issues. The apartments are spacious and can accommodate all your golf gear .

Ah lads, a few extra pillows or else some new pillows would go a long way to increasing comfort in the one bed apt. Also, early breakfast is tricky unless you bring your own food (which you can do as there is a proper kitchenette).

can’t wait to get back hidden gem

staff were so nice always smiling and the accommodation was very comfortable,I cooked a full meal in the kitchen the night I stayed and it had everything I needed , we had a massive Jacuzzi bath tub in our apartment we both loved , golf course is amazing also very well kept and the house does a nice pint of Guinness

Nice space and location. Bed was comfortable.

Outdoor area full of cigarette ends. Lots of flies in the house. The house got cold in the evening and we were unable to reach the high window over the stairs to close it.

Lovely place and views. Beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was quite roomy. Close to the club house restaurant

It was missing things like a usable pan, oven mits or a dustpan. But these are easily requested at the reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Two girls in the restaurant/bar super hard workers. Good food and lovely surroundings. Accommodation clean and comfortable.

Lovely people that we met. Issue with bedding left us disappointed.

We booked a lodge so brought our own breakfast. It would have been nice to have mugs instead of tiny cups. Also a tea pot and a cafetiere are standard in most accomodation nowadays. Neither were provided.

The pull out sofa was fine except no sheets were left out for bedding. Also the duvet and pillow were not fresh and clean. We asked the reception area for assistance. There was no one available and the bar man kindly tried to assist, handing us what he thought was bedding but in fact were tablecloths. He was a lovely man and genuinely tried to help.
