the location is fantastic, right next to the beach, literally 10 steps away. Top floor probably has some great views as well, although from the first floor the view is obscured by trees. The beach is lovely, and the bar right in front of the hotel is nice too. The garden is nicely tended and very green.
the hotel looks old and in dire need of renovation. The walls are stained and cracked, there was a cracked tile in the bathroom, the aluminum windows look worn and dirty. The room is tiny, really cramped, and so is the bathroom - the shower stall is super cramped. There are hardly any sockets to charge phones or appliances - I literally had to charge my phone in the bathroom.
The staff is smiling and polite, but unaccommodating and disregard anything you tell them. I asked that nobody enters my room as I am on immunosuppressants, and I prefer to have no cleaning. They completely ignored my wishes, and cleaned my room twice, touching and moving everything in the process. I also asked for a later check out, and was told it is impossible right away, because the cleaning personnel leaves at 12. I hang by the garden as it was too hot to go anywhere far, and the cleaning personnel was there till at least 3 when I left.

Location, close to a fantastic beach, Room with sea-view.
Very close to downtown, just 10min walking. Special price as Hotel Guest for umbrella and beds on the beach.

The bedroom was lovely with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bed was very comfy and the shower was good. It was close to the beach which I was happy with. The breakfast was superb. I always love a hotel that does fruit, nuts, seeds, yogurt etc. Lots and lots of choice.

Large comfortable room, great location for the amazing beach and railway, convenient parking. There are shops and an ATM just across the road. The airport is a 10-15 minute drive away. You can walk along the beach to the harbour and be there in 10 minutes. You can take the train from outside the hotel and go up the coast to Île Rousse for a great day out.
Breakfast was rather basic. On our first morning we came down towards the end of breakfast service and struggled to find a table, while a slightly stressed member of staff looked for our name on her list (a rather unreliable system that resulted in the bill showing more breakfasts than we actually had). Coffee was self-service from a machine that was not quite working properly (selecting cappuccino gave a mocha, and the best technique seemed to be to select espresso twice and then add some milk from the jug next to the cereal). After the first day we had breakfast at Les Palmiers on the harbour front.
The nearby beach café Marco Plage is perfectly nice (though like all the beach cafés it only serves coffee, lunch and drinks, and closes at sunset), but the photos and description make it look to me at least like it's part of the hotel, when in reality it's just a nearby beach café - guests get a little off the price of a sun lounger, but that's it. (I appreciate that hotel photos often include the surrounding area, and the beach is lovely, but perhaps that could be made clearer.) Also it's closed if it rains, leaving the hotel without anywhere for lunch. There's not really a restaurant service in the evening (Le Jardin De La Caravelle is a restaurant in theory but it has zero atmosphere due to bright lighting and tacky furniture and we rarely saw anyone eating there) so in practice the hotel is a B&B.

Fantastic location, 1 minute from the beach, great food, friendly staff.
Rather pricey. That being said, that‘s the case for most places in Corsica...;)

The location is ideal. There is a direct access to the beach with a private area. We enjoyed the terrace and its pretty view on the citadel.
