Beautiful historical suite right in the heart of Lecce. It was a privilege to stay here. Everything was perfect from the breakfast, spacious room but the best thing was the very warm welcome, Nikos was so passionate in ensuring you have a perfect stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!!!

Nikos, the owner was a gem! He welcomed us in to his beautiful Palazzo. He gave us a brief history of the beautiful Palazzo. He was very detailed in assisting us in what to visit in Lecce. He prepared with great care a tasteful local breakfast each morning and always greeted us with a smile. He went above and beyond to be of great assistance to us. The Palazzo is very clean, well kept, beautifully decorated with antiques and the beds very comfortable. Nikos made us feel like we have known him for years! Highly highly recommended! Location is prime!
There is nothing that we did not like.

Super god beliggenhed. Man har sin egen lejlighed indrettet med antikviteter og rigelig med plads, vi havde balkoner mod gaden. Lejligheden ligger i hjertet af Lecce.

This property was so unique. It actually was in a private palace, hosted by the owners who were extremely gracious. The furnishings were all exquisite. The breakfast was delicious and very generous, and served in our living room with beautiful fine china!!The room looked over one of the main streets and there a small balcony, but still very quiet at night!! Everything was just beautiful!!
There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect! Truly beautiful !!

This is an amazing family home that has kept the original charm. I really felt we had stepped back in time about 100 years, except we had modern technology. The suite was huge, which for two people is of course unnecessary. The host is lovely and helpful. There is onsite parking, but make sure you don’t try to park a larger car there as it is through a narrow courtyard. The location is very good also.
It was very, very noisy at night. This, of course, is sometimes the price you pay for staying in older places in historic centres. What looked like a small thoroughfare during the day, felt like it became a major pedestrian route by midnight when we could hear every voice and footfall (and crying babies) outside. It felt like they were in our actual room, the sound reverberated so much. The windows are double glazed, but the noise still carried. My partner slept like a baby however, and I eventually fell asleep after 1am when I decided to put my AirPods in.

The suite is exquisite. Two large rooms in a historic area, just steps from the Duomo. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and the remodeled, modern bathroom large and well equipped. There was a delicious breakfast available in the room. The host was there to greet us and help us park our car, and she arranged to have our laundry done while we toured the old city. She gave us excellent suggestions for dinner. One of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy was the opportunity to stay in this gorgeous home.

Great location, great city

This was our first trip to the southeast of mainland Italy -- and this was our first stop. We made a mistake though; in hindsight we should have spent several more days here. The location, facility, and the proprietress each, respectively, exceeded our expectations which results in this being the single most memorable, wonderful place we stayed in our month vacation over 9 different properties. I've added a few pictures of nearby attractions, and also, if you notice anything askew in the room -- it's because some of the pictures were taken on our way out the door. Everything was simply perfect!

very well located with balconies facing via vittorio emanuele I - and silent at night, even if it faces a busy street. the room had a living room and bedroom and it was very spacious, clean. The host is very friendly and also helpful. wifi was very good.
breakfast was not as good as our other experiences in Puglia, but it’s not a manor issues as you can get fresh pastries right below the building.

If you are visiting Lecce, you absolutely need to stay in a Palazzo. The city has many beautiful Palazzo's built in the 16th, 17th & 18th centuries. So when you stay at the Historical Suites VVM you are stayig in 18th century Palazzo and everything about the poperty takes you back to that time. Why not experience the feeling of living in a Palace.

Amazing place.
Didn’t bother us but quite noisy as on a Main Street
