This property is charming in so many ways. While modest in size, it sleeps at least 6 and might do 8 in a pinch. The place was spotless, well appointed, and it was clear that previous guests had found the property satisfactory as well: notes on blackboard, supplies left for next guests, etc. Centrally located and in walking distance to 'downtown,' we couldn't have asked for a better location. We would happily book the property again!! Daniel is a great host!

First impression was not good. It has a campy feel: a bit musty with old furniture. The couch/bed in the living area needs to get thrown out. However this place does grow on you. It has a cozy kitchen area that is nicely decorated. The location is excellent. It has pretty much everything you need.

We had a great stay. Came up to see the foliage which was peak but it rained the whole weekend. It was nice to have a cozy place to dry off. The place is nicely appointed and had everything we needed. It was a quick 6 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Parking was designated and appreciated. The couch was very old, not too comfortable, and not the one pictured in the listing. The stairs are steep but they have gates for the little ones. But I Would definitely recommend.

Easy 5 min walk to tourist town. Local coffee shops and food. Clean place to stay. Daniel was quick to respond as needed. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at the Chicken Coop. The location was fantastic. It's an easy walk to Zeb's, restaurants, coffee houses and other stores. Tons of hiking within a short drive. The condo was cozy with fun decorating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location for North Conway attractions, was the perfect set up for our family. Quaint and quirky decor and plenty of comfort. Fit our family way more comfortably for less than local hotels. Host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cabin with a rustic feel. The place has personality. Two minute drive to downtown North Conway and a half hour drive to some serious hikes.

We had a great stay at the chicken coop! It was perfect for our family of four (2 year old and 5 month old). Cute and quiet area and only a 5 minute walk downtown to restaurants and shopping. The house has a lot of cool antiques but most out of reach so nothing a two year old could destroy. The bathroom had a potty seat, perfect for toddlers and young children which was a nice surprise. Yes, the stairs are steep but gates are provided so it wasn’t a problem! Overall, a great experience for a great price.

Comfortable stay in a safe neighborhood. Great location to everything you need, and walking distance to the main road where all the cute spots are. The stairs are a bit challenging if you have mobility issues, but would definitely stay again.

This place is well appointed so that you can enjoy great day trips to various hikes, tube or kayaking trips, etc. We hiked and biked every day and made wonderful dinners in the kitchen. The building is old and full of charm but well kept and clean! Thank you!

My family enjoyed 3 nights in the Chicken Coop with our Golden Retriever. The cottage is just as described. It was clean and well stocked. The owner was friendly and helpful in all interactions. The location is perfect, as you can walk into town. There are restaurants, shops, and ice cream just a few blocks away. Some of the nature attractions, such as the Saco River and Diana's Bath are just a short drive away. While we really enjoyed the area and the property ourselves, it was not the best rental for our dog. This cottage is in a row home set up with about 4 other rentals. The neighbors were quiet for us, but our dog would bark when he heard others going in/out. There is very little grass in the complex and our dog is picky about his business, so we had to walk him across the street and often around the neighborhood. That's fine most of the time, but difficult for a quick last time of the night or first thing in the morning trip. The stairs in the rental are very steep. Our dog could not come down the stairs, so we had to block him off and he slept downstairs. He's spoiled and is used to sleeping next to our bed, so he wasn't happy about that either. Daniel provides several gates that were very helpful, including one for the bottom of the stairs and the front porch entrance. Just some info for those looking to stay with a pup. If you're pup is small or less picky, you won't have any trouble. For the humans, you can't go wrong with this property. I would rent again for my family, just without the dog. :-) We loved North Conway!

We had a great stay. This is the second time we have stayed at this property and have enjoyed both. They are decorated very charmingly. It was great have a 2 seperate bedrooms and a place to cook breakfast and grill some burgers for lunch. The location is walking distance to the main town with shops and restaurants. The owner Daniel is very pleasant. We are looking forward to staying in the future

We were looking for a place between Storyland and Santas Village. This fit the bill. The drive was easy to both places. The apartment was clean and had all necessary amenities including hand sanitizer! Also had a bed and toys for our small dog that came with us. Very rustic and cute. Down the bottom of the hill is a cute little town. A few boutiques for shopping. One watch out - there’s a pretty straight/steep/narrow stairwell to the loft where the beds are. This may be hard for some to navigate. It’s not a detractor, but might not be the right home for you to stay in of your have any mobility issues.

The host responded to communication right away. The property had plenty of amenities, and we appreciated the coffee! Clean snd spacious and close to some beautiful hiking spots. Loved being able to walk into town.

We had the best time, and Daniel our host was wonderful. The play was in a great location, so homey . Can’t wait to book for next year.

We had a great time staying in this amazing chicken themed apartment. Was well appointed, with everything we needed in the kitchen, and dog friendly. Loved walking to the town. Would have been nice to not have to bring our own sheets, blankets, and pillows, but besides that everything was first rate. We were still discovering antique decorations on our last day!

You can't beat the location of this property. We were a short walk from downtown North Conway and close enough to Maine to see plenty of sights. Highly recommend: (food & drink) Cathedral Ledge Distillery, Delaney's Hole in the Wall, Saco River Brewing (Maine), The Sunrise Shack, White Mountain Cider Co. (hiking): Diana's Bath

When I first pulled in, not sure what to really expect. It was so comfortable, cozy, and clean. The other people renting other units were super friendly and respectful. Such a wonderful experience that I will rent from this owner again.
