La maison et la décoration étaient magnifique. Le personnel qui nous a accueilli et assisté était impeccable.
Il est dommage que la piscine ne soit pas praticable tant l’eau est froide.. avec le soleil qu’il y a…
Literie chambre « enfant » basique.

Very beautifully decorated. The owner has an excellent taste and the property is very spacious and clean.
The breakfast is very simple: bread, butter, jam and eggs. No fruits at all. I expected much more for breakfast, especially considering the price in comparison to other hotels that offer a much greater variety of options for breakfast. We spent 3 nights. After my complaint, we had banana as a fruit option on our last day.

The host Daniela was exceptional. Next to being very kind, she helped me organise a surprise breakfast for my girlfriend birthday and came to help us to translate in the medical clinic in San Pedro when my girlfriend needed medical assistance.
The accomodation was really good. The pool area is comfortable and so was the jacuzzi. our room and bathroom was spacious.
Buying drinks is rather expensive, but you bring your own and use the fridge.

The property was well kept, in a good location and Daniela and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We were very pleased with the service that we received at Casa Luna.
BEWARE: hotel only accepts CASH. This is in small print way past the booking/reservation. We had to scramble last minute at checkout to put together enough cash to pay for our stay, and almost missed our flight back to Santiago. Also, while the property is listed as a 3 star hotel, it is definitely more of a large estate that's been converted to multiple guest rooms. No basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash or body lotion was provided. Only hand soap.

The host Daniella was so helpful in booking our trips and advising us on restaurants. She also made sure to fully cater to our dairy intolerance. The best breakfast we had in our Chile trip by far, would thoroughly recommend staying here and the adjoining room was perfect with young children.

Service from Daniela was awesome. The house was beautiful, in a quiet area, and the staff was really helping and efficient.

We loved Casa Luna, Maria is more than accommodating and will do anything to help.
In the morning she makes eggs to go with your croissant, ham, cheese and salami. There is also lovely fresh bread and jam or muesli with yoghurt.
The dog that lives at Casa Luna is the friendliest and most well behaved dog I have ever met - we really wanted to take her home with us!
There are a few things to be aware of before you go - they only accept cash so make sure you’ve taken enough out. The WiFi only really works in the common area and can sometimes cut out - maybe download all the videos / music / audiobooks you need before going. The place is about a ten minute walk from town - we hired bikes in San Pedro de atacama and other guests had rented cars. Maria doesn’t speak English at all (I wish I’d brushed up more on my Spanish!) so make sure you either brush up on your basic Spanish or download a translator app that you can use offline.
As long as you are happy to accept these things you will have a lovely time - as we did!
(Also just an FYI) On our last day we booked a transfer back to Calama airport with transvip through an agency in town, the bus never arrived and we ended up spending £60.00/$60.00 more as we had to get a taxi. Maria was very very helpful with this - she called all the taxi companies to get us to the airport as quickly as possible. We checked in with ten minutes to spare!
I cannot recommend Casa Luna enough it really is a lovely place to stay. For us it was perfect!

We loved our double room with a bath - it was very comfortable and extremely clean and spacious. We were able to use the living area both inside and outside the house which had comfortable chairs for lounging on both on the verandah and by the Pool. Maria was a wonderful hostess and did her utmost to make us feel at home, providing us with crockery and cutlery when we brought food back to the house to eat on the table outside. She tried to sort out the difficulties with the wifi and in the end gave us access to her own family wifi. Breakfasts were really nice and the bread was gorgeous. Absolutely loved the family dog who was very friendly. Maria definitely went above and beyond as a hostess.
Unfortunately the wifi was very intermittent and we had long periods unable to access it. Good idea to take some ear plugs as the local stray dogs in and around the whole of San Pedro make a real din every morning in the early hours. Not Maria’s dog though - he is too well behaved. Our three teenagers found the little bungalow that they shared would have benefitted from some ventilation when it got stuffy in the late evening.

Marta, who takes care of the property is a very friendly and helpful women. She prepares a special tea (coca leaves with something else) even in the case of problems with the high altitude.
WIFI doesn't really work well. Breakfast is average, especially the coffee is not really a good one
