Un precio muy conveniente para un sector muy acomodado de conce

Para ser un sector bastante acomodado de conce, el valor está más que conveniente, las áreas son amplias y el dueño es muy educado y preocupado de que estés cómodo.. si es que vuelvo a la ciudad, de seguro me hospedare nuevamente

El baño es amplio y cómodo, pero el papelero se notaba que estaba desde hace días sin recambio

La disponibilidad que te dan al usar la cocina,puedes cocinar,y tiene de todo para prepararse un almuerzo rico,y nadie te ocupa lo tuyo .

Que en las ventanas no tienen mosqueteros,tu sales,y dejas la ventana abierta para que se ventile tu habitación,y te encuentras en la noche con esas moscas y no puedes dormir bien.

I arrived tired and left refreshed by the view, the breeze and the green and quiet environment.

As a seasoned traveller and writer what I look for is not bling or bustle but peace and quiet and fresh breezes and views. I got to Vivo tired and left refreshed and re-energised. It is in one of the most beautiful houses in Concepcion, set on the hillside overlooking the city and nestled in the trees of the hill above. A kind host and a comfortable bed and quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance of the university and the city centre. A great stay.

I might have liked an ensuite bathroom but in view of the other benefits of Vivo this did not matter as there was a ladies only shared bathroom.

in airport small no cambio cash euro... si bancomat... uscite da airport mantenete la dx.. avanti 250 mt. fuori da airport c'è fermata bus subito dopo rotonda... fa il giro del colombo 530 pesos ma vi porta in centro.. da li 600 mt a piedi o altro bus vi porta a 200 mt.... da fuori la casa è brutta e old ma dentro ben mantenuta... staff super... room small small ma ottimo letto con materasso e 2 cuscini con tv moderna incluso small armadio e small scrivania e ottime coperte. .. wc e doccia in comune ma big doccia... sapone presente incluso assiugamano da chiedere free.. media piccola sala x colazione con poche cose... key magnetica senza cauzione... no card.. solo cash...al ritorno puntate il navigatore.. a 200 mt. ce fermate bus che vi porta fermata esercito.. da li bus color arancio b02 vi porta sempre a quella rotonda... 250 mt. e siete in airport..calcolate oltre 2 h. il proprietario della casa mi ha detto che fino airport taxi se prende 10.000 pesos... 11 euro circa...casa huose si trova al 1* piano.. no assensore... super sicuro la casa... e anche la città è sicura.. se uscite da casa andate a sx. fino alla, strada principale poi a sx,, passate davanti big ospedale e avanti 1/1.5 km..c'è un po' di vita giovanile e ristoranti pub....

Una opción cómoda si tienes poco presupuesto

La cama era cómoda y Philippe es muy atento. Fue flexible cuando le dije que por cambio de planes en mi trabajo iba a eliminar una noche de la reserva. También destaco que queda cerca de la Universidad de Concepción. El baño es compartido, pero amplio, con shampoo, bálsamo y secador de pelo. Ojalá pueda añadir una banca o mueble donde uno oueda apoyar la ropa mientras se ducha.

La hostal no tiene espacios comunes, salvo una cocina con poca luz. Diría que es un hospedaje más que una hostal. No me quedó claro donde se sacaban las cosas para desayunar ( pues hay comida de huéspedes en el refrigerador) y al ser autoservicio no había agua caliente ni café ( supongo que habia que hervir) así que opté por tomar desayuno en una cafetería. Se escucha el ruido de otras habitaciones ( por ejemplo cuando la gente conversa en la cocina) No es un lugar cómodo para trabajar. Está bien para alguien que anda de paseo o que llega a dormir solamente.

A somewhat dishonest listing

Nothing specific, it was not horrible.

Host Philippe was very pushy on payment in cash upon arrival, so i had to go grab cash from an ATM before settling in, and didn't even give me the room i booked. Then he canceled my booking on my last day right after I checked out, very sketchy. Otherwise, a normal host, nothing spectacular worthy of the rating here, and he doesn't speak English. The breakfast was definitely not American, it was self-service, i pretty much just had the yogurt provided. The biggest reason for my booking was the wifi, and even that was just ok. In general, a somewhat dishonest listing, with super inflated ratings, not really a hostal, just a house w shared facilities, can't even find it on Google maps.

Highly Recommended

Very nice place, comfortable and well placed. The neighbourhood is calm, very good to rest. Moreover, Philippe is a very kind guy and excellent hoster. The quality/price ratio is excelent. Highly recomended for turists.
