Zagreb Surprise

Perfect location right in the centre of Zagreb, beautiful, safe & well kept apartment. Friendly host who lives in the same block and she cannot do enough for you.

Nothing really. Not a negative, but make sure you have cash to pay for the room.

Wonderful apartment in a great city!!

The apartment was very comfortable and great place to relax after a day sightseeing!! The location was fabulous.. close to everything. And our host was very helpful and left little goodies for us to enjoy during our stay.

Being in the middle of all the activity the apartment could get a little noisy.. but that is what comes with location location !!

A great place in the heart of Zagreb!

Great location, very clean and a lovely spacious apartment. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Clear instructions were given before our arrival. Daily supplies of coffee pods, milk, toiletries etc provided to be more than sufficient.

Unbeatable location, beautiful apartment, exceptional host.

The location was AMAZING and the apartment was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Snježana is a fantastic host; she not only met us early so that we could store our luggage before the apartment was ready, but she even let us know once the apartment was ready before the official check-in time! The wifi was strong and the air conditioning was great (given that it was unusually warm outside for the time of year when we visited). Snježana kindly gave us maps and guides for Zagreb as well as left things like fruit in the fridge for us to enjoy and was immediately available if we needed anything. I cannot count the number of times that my parents and I said, "Thank goodness we're staying here!" It's a very convenient walk from both Dolac Market (the local farmer's market) as well as Tkalčićeva Street (pedestrian only street with so many bars, restaurants, and outdoor seating). If I were to return to Zagreb or if any of my friends asked me where to stay, I would pick this apartment every time.

This is NOT Snježana's fault, but just a word of warning that there are about 15 steps in the entryway prior leading up to the landing where you can then take the elevator the rest of the way up to the apartment. Considering most/many places in Croatia don't have elevators of any kind, I hardly think of this as a downside! I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone else visiting absolutely cannot do the 15 steps at the beginning. My father has trouble when there are too many stairs, and he was able to do these steps multiple times a day no problem! Note that no Ubers or Taxis can drop you off directly at the apartment (no cars are allowed in Ban Jelačić Square itself), so you will have to walk a little bit (on mostly flat ground) to get to the front of the apartment from the nearest spot that you can be dropped off at. Again, this is true of any place you would stay around Ban Jelačić Square, and the location and apartment are so great that it doesn't even register as a negative, but wanted to be fully transparent for those looking to book this apartment.

Phantastischer Kurzbesuch

Das Apartment ist wirklich ein Traum. Direkt am Hauptplatz von Zagreb gelegen, aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und komplett neu renoviert. Bequeme Betten, gut ausgestattete Küche und schönes Bad. Die Eigentümerin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und Tipps für Unternehmungen und Gastronomie gegeben. Der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken und frischem Obst bestückt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Perfect stay in a great place

Would rate it with more then 10, if possible. The apartment is in a PERFECT location, literally on the main square in Zagreb and just a few steps from everything. It's well isolated so there is no noise, very clean and well equipped with everything. The host was helpful and the check-in and check out process was very easy. This was one of the smoothest stays I've had. Great value, highly recommended for solo travelers, couples or groups of max. 3. Will come again.

The apartment was incredible and I can see why it is rated so highly

Snezjana is an incredible host. Everything you could ask for was in the apartment. A huge bowl of fruit, juice and yummy biscuits were in the fridge for us. The kitchen was very well equiped and loads of crockery, glasses etc. Snezjana also prepared an information pack with maps for us to get around Zagreb. The location is amazing, right in the main square as described. I would definitely recommend this property.

The location is fantastic. It had everything we needed and there were some lovely touches like water, beer and juice in the fridge. Property is perfect for a stay in Zagreb. Owner absolutely delightful and couldn’t be more helpful 😊

Great central location. Wonderful host. Spotlessly clean with extra treats generously provided.

Although there was a lift - it was situated on the first floor which means carrying luggage up 1 flight of stairs. For very light sleepers you may find the trams a bit noisy early in the morning. As with most old town accommodation it is not possible to be dropped off at the door. It should be noted that the 2nd bedroom is an alcove *without* a door.

One of the best booking experiences! A fantastic apartment in the heart of Zagreb!

This is perhaps one of the best properties that we have used in many booking experiences throughout the US an Europe. The location of the main square is perfect for exploring Zagreb. We did have a rental car and used the Langov Trg Garage for parking, which is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment (Discounted daily parking at 13,30 Euro per day is available at this location. Merely park you car and go to the office on level 1, within ten minutes of arrival, and ask for the daily rate. They will take payment there by cash or card and provide you with a new ticket to exit with. The process is very easy and English is spoken). Our host was truly expceptional. She met us at the apartment with great communication through WhatsApp. She went through the apartment with us and provided a wealth of local information. She also provided juice, water, beer, cookies, muffins, chocolates, coffee, creamer, sugar and fruits which was great! Her kindness and attention to detail are unmatched! The apartment itself is fully equipped, modern, and very comfortable. The terrace was nice and the apartment is rather quiet for its central location. My wife is uses a dedicated white noise machine for sleep and we had no issues in using a phone app at night. Our family of 3 on this trip had plenty of space and were completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment and its features. We thorughly enjoyed our stay!

Our host was wonderful and very friendly! It was always very easy to contact our host for anything we needed. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet given the location. The size was good and had all of the amenities we needed.

The single bed could have been more soft.

Best experience, will recommend it to all my family and friends

The apartment is amazing, very spacious, modern and sparkling clean. You have everything you need, from toiletries to chocolates and fruit. Location is superb, on the main square but still quiet at night. The owner is the sweetest and most helpful, she accomodated us in every possible way, from early check in and late check out, to answering all our questions. It was everything you could hope for and more.

Fantastic apartment in the old town

This is an amazing place to stay, as it is ideally situated in the main square of the old town. This makes it easy to pop back to during a day when you just want to rest and a cup of tea. It's spacious and well furnished. I stayed with my elderly parents who had the double room while I took the single bed in the single alcove which also had a desk area to work on my laptop. The host Snjezana is wonderfully welcoming and friendly. She was easy to contact at any time with questions and helpful information. It was such a pleasure to stay here and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our dream stay a reality!

We came to Zagreb for a short 5-day getaway holiday and well worth it.

Snjezana, the host was super nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and welcoming and also very spacious. All cups, mugs, cutlery and kitchenware were available and clean. Snjezana even had the fridge stocked up with some water, milk and fruit juice. We also had some complimentary fresh fruit and chocolates :) The location could not be more central, with very good tram connections, a pedestrian road at the back of the apartment full of bars and restaurants and if you are into shopping, then you are also in the right place/street. Superb!

Lovely apartment in superb location

Right in the city hub with plenty of restaurants/ bars and the main tourist sites in close walking distance. Flower market right outside the building. Modern, spotless and well-equipped apartment. Fantastic host met us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Some street noise at night but to be expected given the central location.

Dream stay in Zagreb it is for sure!

What a wonderfull stay, can't imagine a better possible appatment in Zagbreb! Lovely host that welcomed us with fruits and drinks, such a beautifull appartment and on top of that in the very heart of the city. Don't doubt to book this place, it's perfect.
