NO PARTIES POLICY

We have a strict no parties policy at Nosh. While we love people having an enjoyable time at Nosh, parties can cause significant wear and tear and can result in damage to the property. They can also cause a disturbance to the neighbours which is very important to us.

Family get togethers are great, anniversaries and birthdays are great, gatherings of friends and families are great, however if you are looking to have a rip roaring party then Nosh is not the property for you. We appreciate your understanding regarding this policy.

No Pets policy (unless discussed and agreed to prior to your stay. I some cases we will allow dogs provided they are outside only.)

No Smoking in the house.

Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Additional fees apply if the above policies are not observed.

Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay.

Nosh was beaut, a really comfortable and pleasant space to spend a weekend. On a very chilly weekend it warmed up nicely (even the separate bunkhouse), great kitchen and plenty of comfy spaces for relaxing.

Ideal place for a family birthday celebration. Kitchen facilities were great, and a big dining table for games. BBQ needed cleaning before we could use it. We were one bed short for an adult. Otherwise all good.

We loved our stay at Nosh. The house was very clean, sunny and comfortable and it had everything we needed. There is lots of space for the extended family and kids, and the large dining table is awesome. The host we were quick to reply to a few queries I had. Overall this is a lovely place to stay at (bit of a treat really), and we would definitely stay at this place again when we next visit this area.

We loved our time at Nosh. It is hard to find accommodation that allows you to stay comfortably with other families and enjoy both your own space and communal space. The kitchen was fabulous as is the surrounds. A short stroll to a fabulous beach.

What a wonderful spot for a girls getaway - we have been friends since high school so over 25+ years of friendship! Warm and cosy with lots of room and everything was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach (we went for a quick dip) and short car ride for coffee and food :) Owners were so helpful, kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. Extra points for putting the heaters on early for us so we had a warm house upon arrival. Thanks for having us, highly recommend!

The house is excellent for accommodating a big group. We comfortably had 2 families with plenty of space for everyone. We have stayed a couple of times and the owners have been gradually making improvements to make the house more comfortable, new dining chairs and mattresses amongst the updates. Hosts are very obliging and good at communicating availability, including being able to check in early.

We had originally booked for 6 adults and 4 children due to Covid and other viruses only one family with 3 children could go! They enjoyed their time away and the 7 year suggested that we should all go again when everyone is well!

We have just left this house, having stayed for a five day Christmas stay. The house is in an amazing location. 😀. And the beach is beautiful. The photos on website were obviously taken a long time ago. * there is a terrible smell in the cabin, like a wet musty smell. With 10 people we needed to use it, was unpleasant fir my sister and her son * the oven was filthy, we needed to buy cleaner and clean it ourselves * outside is really grotty. Have attached photos. * the washing machine was broken ( owner told us, but was still a pain to travel into town to use laundromat. the belt has slipped. * the vacuume doesn’t pick up anything * upstairs deck dirty, ripped leather seats * beds uncomfortable * spare doonas really dirty We travel a lot, and for 1100 a night, I don’t think the state of the house really warranted that kind of money. Thankyou

Family weekend

This property has some good spaces and good heating for winter and we enjoyed a rare family weekend away. However the bed in the main bedroom upstairs had a very uncomfortable mattress. A couple of our adult children who slept in the bunkhouse reported uncomfortable beds as well. It was very easy to track in untold amounts of dirt from outside which created lots of regular sweeping. We found it disappointing that we had to supply our own coffee pods especially when paying above average costs per night.

We had a fantastic time staying at Nosh. It’s in the perfect spot and has wonderful bird life in the backyard. The kids loved all the toys, jigsaws, games and table tennis table. The dining table is huge and we had great meals together prepared in the well equipped kitchen. It’s the perfect spot with beautiful walks and pristine beaches.

This property is just as it is presented on Stayz, a beautiful, roomy, modern eco friendly house that easily accommodated 3 couples. The house owners have thought about all of the furnishings, household equipment, and nick nacks to make staying at Nosh something to remember. The location is close to the beach, with Maria Island within easy access via the ferry. An IGA supermarket, post office, pub are within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this property!

An amazing house with plenty of space in the living area for everyone to find a sunny spot! Make sure you book for the bungalow if you need this space, it is booked separately. The bungalow does not have a bathroom. Well appointed kitchen with everything! Beautiful area to explore and excellent grounds. Shame there isn't a separate toilet downstairs.

The house was very well presented and clean, but as we arrived on a day when it was pouring with rain and wet underfoot, some sort of protected connection between the house and the bungalow would have been a good idea for visits particularly to the bathroom.

Wonderful stay at the Nosh! We had. Group of 12, beds were clean & comfy, Kitchen & shower facilities are first class. The open plan living was a great space for the group & outdoor fire area was private. We will be back! We used East Coach Coaches for a private charter Saturday! Great location & community.

House outdated, down stairs 2 bedrooms no access to fresh air because glass exterior doors had no handles on inside and no screens very hot and stuffy. Majority of doors and locks difficult to open. Upstairs bedroom sliding doors badly fitted and warped allowing spiders and other insects constant access. Kitchen appliances such as toaster faulty.Video machine faulty. Water pressure pathetic both upstairs and downstairs, no access to a clothes dryer, no coat hangers and rubbish bins were full on arrival.Outside seating facilities were cheap and nasty and not practical.Driveway bushes overgrown and difficult to access without scratching cars.With no clothes dryer and clothes line undercover in shade we had to use laundromat in Triabunna.For 6 days we were provided with only 1 towel each.Honestly for the price we paid the experience was very very disappointing and we would never recommend this property.It bewilders us how this property could ever be listed as luxury by Stayz!Finally, because of our disappointment we vacated the property 1 day early and headed to Hobart for relief.
