Title says it all. Would highly recommend booking here. Lots of hiking and biking in the area

We grew up with our second home on Skyhawk Lane…which was sold about 8 years ago. It was great to come back and stay in the same neighborhood. The house was fantastic with a great view of the mountain. It was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend

Everything was great, will be back next year!

Great home on a beautiful piece of land in a convenient location. Well stocked kitchen and ready for family fun with pool table, foosball, bar and a big living room with cozy gas stove. Walk to toms of trails and the wonderful Brownsville Butcher and Pantry.

We are a large extended family (50!) who converge on Brownsville for a Thanksgiving treasure hunt each year. As the families have grown, we are always looking for accommodations for many. Erin’s house was perfect for my own multi gen family of 14. Plenty of comfortable beds, room to spread out, activities, and coziness. As listed, the kitchen has everything you need (I’ve never found a grater in other rentals!), including spices, etc. I didn’t actually find the little closet across the hall until I was leaving! Many more useful items available!
You will receive a personal email and lease to sign from Erin. Look for it. This is in addition to the VRBO registration.

There were 8 of us - 3 couples and 2 kids. There was PLENTY of space so we were not on top of one another. It was so wonderful that we all (even the kids) had our own, spacious bathrooms. We all even fit at the dining room
table. What was particularly great for us is that the 3 guys all rode in the Vermont Overland gravel bike ride and the start line was practically visible from the back door at Ascutney Outdoors. The space was cozy/rustic and really quite charming. The only cons were a lack of closet space in the master and it could use a bit of updating. We didn’t expect to use the game room but we ended up having a blast playing pool with the grandkids. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this home again. It really suited our needs perfectly.

There were 9 adults in town for the mountain bike festival, and this house was one of the closest places to the center of the action. House is awesome - a lot nicer than the pictures make it seem. The pool table was a big hit, the 2 spaces to hang out were amazing, the extra fridge was a nice touch, the king size bed was super comfy (not sure about the other beds), the host was incredibly responsive, polite, nice, and overall just an incredible experience! Would highly recommend!

Great place for a group of friends to spend a low-key weekend. Plenty of stuff to do on the property. Would stay again.

This property has been on my shortlist for a couple of years. Finally had the right scenario to book it. Was not disappointed! Plenty of space inside , which was great because the weather wasn’t conducive to outdoor fun. The ping pong/pool table brought lots of enjoyment. Kitchen stocked nicely and just a short drive to Harpoon brewery restaurant. Would definitely rent again

The downstairs game room was great for the kids, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. We drove to Okemo and it was a 30-40 minute drive.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen was very well stocked, beds were comfortable, game room was great! The kids romped in a bit of snow in backyard.

My husband celebrating his 50th birthday which is also hunting season. He and 6 of his close friends stayed, loved houses layout, the location, the gaming room in basement and so on!! Exactly what we needed!! Will be back here again and again!!

It was a smooth transition in renting the property, no problems at all.

We stayed at this cabin and made it our home base during a Ragnar race that took place a quarter mile from the cabin. It was perfect base camp for our team to relax between runs and celebrate the race afterwards. Erin was super communicative in getting everything set up and I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in a gorgeous area of Vermont!

Great spot for groups, plenty of space and amenities. Everything was easy and we had a great time!

Had a wonderful time spending a summer weekend with 10 of my friends at Erin's property! We had plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. The back yard has a great view, and we pretty spent the entire weekend around the campfire enjoying each other's company. We also did an excursion to Weston, VT (about 20 minute drive) to go tubing on the river, and ended our day with snacks and drinks at Harpoon Brewery. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a low-key, casual hang with friends or family. Oh, and the pool table in the basement was a great addition to our weekend.
Our only complaint is the cleaning fee. It was a little unclear of how this cost is justified when we were asked to supply our own sheets and towels, and clean the place before we left.
If you stay in the king bed, also be sure to budget some extra time before check out to launder and dry the sheets; and figure out how the washing machine works.

We stayed at this property 5 years ago. It seems like no upgrades were made and it felt dirtier and worn. There was mold in the bathroom downstairs, the dishwasher was broken and the fridge is on its last leg, barely holding temp. The outdoor furniture was ripped. It was also frustrating that there were no towels and sheets available to guests and we had to bring our own. The location and yard are great, but overall it was an underwhelming and somewhat disappointing VRBO experience compared to other recent experiences I've had.

Overall a great stay. Location is amazing, the view from the house is THE BEST.
Game room is the place where we hung out most of time,
Definitely recommend for up to 3 families to catchup.

As a party of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids in their mid-late teens), we really enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin and having plenty of bunk space for everyone (though my 6'3" son found the bunk beds to be a bit small and uncomfortable). The cabin was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. We had a pretty busy agenda and really didn't take advantage of the game room or the outdoor firepit, but it was nice having those amenities available.
Speaking of relaxing, the location is just wonderful - the grounds are very nice and it is very quiet - with frogs serenading you in the evening from the neighbor's pond. It's also very nicely located for walks up to the ski area or into the downtown Brownsville for a hand-made soft serve ice cream at the Brownsville Butcher & Pantry.
The only nit we had with this rental is that you are supposed to supply your own bed sheets and towels. This would have been a real logistical challenge for us, as we were traveling from California with only carry-on luggage and no ability to bring our own linens & towels. Our host Erin graciously agreed to allow us access to the linens & towels stored in the cabin - but it did take us several hours at the end of our stay to wash, dry, fold and put everything away. That took a bit of the magic out of the stay. The other issue was a lack of a closet or bureau space in the master bedroom, so we pretty much had to live out of our suitcases for the duration.
Overall, it we really enjoyed our time at the cabin and would stay here again - we lived in Brownsville many years ago and this is a very nice place to call home base while we checked out all the old haunts.

Excellent experience! The property was beautiful and everything on the listing was as expected.

Had a great time and nice place to stay

Had all the stuff we needed. The property was clean and just the right amount of privacy.
One feedback I would like to provide is that in this day and age we would have appeciated more bed room power outlets for charging phones near the bed etc. or a multi-uSB outlet. Otherwise the stay was awesome and the property had everything were needed

This is a great house, very spacious and enjoyable to be in. We were here during a hot August weekend and the AC was much appreciated! The setting is fabulous, with the beautiful Mount Auscutney towering nearby. Thanks Erin!

Gathered with family at this beautiful mountainside lodge. Plenty of room for everyone, a beautiful kitchen and living room, and you can’t beat that view! The hosts were wonderfully accommodating and responsive. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful property, well kept. Everything was perfect for a relaxing get-away!

We stayed with a group of about 12 people for a bachelor-bachelorette gathering and it was great. There’s an awesome pond down the street with sandy beaches and low activity to enjoy for free. The house was very clean and has a well stocked game room in the basement with pool table and other games. Location is tough to beat also, large backyard with mountain side view made breakfast outside peaceful. The only thing the listing doesn’t do justice is the size of the backyard. It is much bigger than the pictures do justice, which was great for tons of yard games. Absolutely will be booking again in the future, tons of rooms in bedrooms and big living room for gather as well as balcony and deck views.

Very nice property that was that my family and I fully enjoyed staying at for a week. The only things we needed to supply were groceries and linen and towels which fortunately other family members in the area were able to supply us with the two latter items. We loved the peaceful lush location and the wildlife. We would return to this property again if given the opportunity. Loved it

We loved our visit! The house was spacious and the views from the back yard were amazing. The hosts were very easy going but answered any questions we had. We will be back!

I just stayed at this location this past weekend for a bachelor party with 12 people total. Our experience with this property was absolutely phenomenal. The property manager was very quick to respond and the house had everything we needed. The backyard view and fire pit will keep you outdoors all day. It is very close to a nearby store and about 15 minutes from a great natural pool on the river. I would recommend this location to friends and family as well as stay here again.

We had a reunion of 5 siblings aged early 70s to early 80s two with spouses. The facility was nearly perfect lots of room enjoyed sitting around fire pit in evenings. Great trip

this place was clean, well stocked kitchen, went with a group of 8, we had a great time. Beautiful cabin, beautiful views. the owner is awesome, very responsive and flexible as we had to change our weekend a couple of times due to covid. The house is well kept and large with plenty of space to spread out. its very easy to clean up after your own self, turn the heat doen, make sure everything is locked and trash put in bins outside. if we do another winter get away we will for sure consider this house again.

Erin's home is an extremely cozy, fun home for a group ski weekend and getaway. We were impressed by how clean the house when we arrived. The home presents two distinct environments which was wonderful for our long weekend stay; the cozy, fireplace living room and well-stocked kitchen upstairs and the loaded game space downstairs. It was great to play pool and foosball at night and wake up and enjoy warm coffee, couches and views upstairs in the mornings. We couldn't have asked for more for our ski lodge weekend.
4.8
The log cabin was perfect for a group of friends wanting to get away and have some fun in the snow. Between the open layout of the second floor and the game/pool table area downstairs, nothing but good times are to be had in this cozy house. Love the bunk bed room and the deck too. 5/5 stars, we'll be back!

The home Has everything you could need. Plenty of spaces for people to sleep. The website says one smart TV but there are two smart TVs one upstairs and one downstairs in the game room. Very cozy, gas fireplace. Wonderful area to take a walk if you wish. Half hour from Okema mountain to ski or snowboard. I would definitely stay there again

Beautiful cabin, beautiful views, we had a magical Christmas! Kids more then enjoyed the game room and it was a perfect amount of space for our large family. Will definitely be back!

My husband had a couple quiet days to himself before the wife and kids joined for a couple nights. There were lots of fun activities in the basement game room, comfortable furniture in the living room and a roomy kitchen.
