民泊の面倒くささを痛感する。

外扉と内扉とそれぞれ暗証番号が必要で、さらに部屋かどこにあるのか、何の表示もなく、探し回って、やっと4階に行き、そこでさらに暗証番号で箱を開けて鍵を取り出す。普通の日本人には無理。その建物の住人に手伝ってもらった。その住人でさえ、自分の住むアパートに民泊があるのを知らなかった。また部屋でテレビを見ることができない。ホテルだと思っていくと、最悪。

A good and reasonably priced place to stay in central Lyon, Park at Hotel de Ville.

Central location was excellent. The apartment was comfortable (albeit fairly basic) and clean with good facilities. Nice shower which worked well.

The parking could have been much better described. I would advise anyone approaching by car to set their GPS for Parking Hotel de Ville Lyon and NOT the address of the accommodation which we did and was pretty disastrous. Also it's worth mentioning that the apartment is up 6 flights of stairs and there is no lift. The broken kettle lid and broken fan were a bit irritating.

Very peculiar building and stairwell. Small loft apartment, interesting environment for students or younger travellers.

Dirty towel! One of these had a terrible smell like urine and had a large yellow stain. The host said there were other clean ones in the closet, but I preferred going back to the car and get my own. The entrance in the alley had a bad smell and staircase was dirty with cigarette butts, adding somewhat to the overall experience.

great location, great host; space was below our expectations and too small for our family of 6.

- great location - powerful AC for the main floor - host was very helpful in recommendations for what to do in Lyon - host replied back quickly when messaged - host gave recommendations for eateries/ dining out

- the 6 flights of stairs that we were not aware of when booking; hard for senior to climb those flights - garbage truck heard during the night around 2-4am - the upper 1/2 level sleep area was too hot; no air conditioning up there - the 1/2 level is only suitable for 3 lower elementary children; our teens (12-16) hit their head a few times while trying to get around in that space - the place was much smaller than we expected; it fits comfortably 2 adults and maybe 2 young kids at most - kitchen is really a kitchenette

Great location and comfortable apartment! Great for families.

The location was excellent, walking distance to so many restaurants and stores. Easy to park in the parking garage (32 euros/day). We had great sleeping areas for 6 adults. In the loft was a double bed and two singles. the bedroom had one double bed. The washer/dryer combo was nice. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee pot, dishes. Comfortable beds. Toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap included. The Wifi was good.Must be able to walk up five flights of stairs as there is not an elevator, but the building felt secure with codes to enter.

I wish there was better lighting in the stairway. some of the bulbs were out and it was pretty dark at night. the ceiling was too short in the kitchen and loft for my 6 ft 6 inch tall son, but the living room and bathroom was tall ceilings.

Passable

The apartment is very well located, right in the center of Lyon. There is no free parking with the apartment, but there is a paid underwound parking 2 min by walk. The apartment is situated on the 4th floor of an old building with high ceilings, without lift! we had 4 suitcases and it was a nightmare to bring them all upstairs. The entrance to the building looks a bit dirty and dark, but maybe it's because it's old. The apartment itself is pretty tiny with a kind of entresol with 4 beds (two single and one double, but one of the single beds was very hard and uncomfortable). Another bedroom had a double bed. The windows give to the inner yard (patio) and there is the kitchen of a restaurant on the ground floor (noise and smell in the morning). there is a kitchen in the apartment but we did not use it. The bathroom is fine, with a walk-in shower. the washing machine is situated right under the sink and it's not very comfortable, especially for young kids.

Dark apartment. There were bedsheets hanging from doors (I suppose they were washed after the previous guests and left there to dry), but that looked really weird and definitely not welcoming. We only stayed there one night and left in the morning, so I cannot say much about this apartment, but I am happy that we did not stay longer. I wouldn't return there again.

Great location, but not quiet and car parking a challenge if you have a roof box.

Good location for city centre.

Car parking with a roof box very difficult. Apartment is in a block of multiple apartments, and noisy through the night with people coming and going. Not much ventilation through apartment.

Average apartment with No Air Con and No Parking but Fabulous Location.

Location wise this can't be beaten. Right in the centre of Lyon with all the attractions literally seconds walk away.

No Air Conditioning. The apartment was way too warm - 3 small and ineffectual fans just pushed the hot air around. It did have 2 bedrooms but one is a an open area above the kitchen/living room so when kids go to bed everyone has to go to bed. Parking here is a complete NIGHTMARE. We had a car with a roof box which was too tall to go into the nearby underground parking. So we had to remove it and carry it in. Also, parking for 2 days cost approx 70 Euros!! Don't book this if you are driving here! Finally, it is 4 stories up with no lift so be prepared to get fit!!!

Very disappointing

The property owner seemed to be a nice guy. The appartment is really practical - with two floors and many beds. Nice bath room.

The bed sheets were used.... just disgusting!! We arrived late at night - exhausted with our young children. The fridge was not cleaned either. Not nice... I don’t think sharing pictures is appropriate so I won’t share them. There were roadworks in the street, so it took almost an hour to come near to the place. Just terrible. We could not park in the nearby parking garage because of our roof box. We had to park in the street with people who want to use your car as a pee pole... just crazy!! I slept in de car because of the unsafe street and my car and personal belongings in the roof box being in jeopardy. I had the worse night of my holiday (we would move on the next day to our final destination more south).

Great location and clean.

Location, location, location. Within 15minutes or less by foot you were about anywhere in the city of Lyon. Apartment was clean and had all amenities, including the small stuff such as soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, towels, etc. - Nothing to complain about.

The mattress in the bedroom was a bit too hard for our taste... well, we survived.
